Abstract: A multi-port connector is provided with a body having an inlet port associated with a primary outlet port and a plurality of auxiliary outlet ports. The auxiliary outlet ports may include valve systems for selective fluid engagement with a fluid source. The primary outlet port of the body is valve-free in some embodiments, allowing the connector to be coupled with additional multi-port connectors to form multi-line fluid manifolds.
Abstract: A faucet outlet structure includes a faucet base, an outlet pipe and two outlet ducts. The outlet pipe is made by zinc alloy using die-casting processing method to form in one piece, and the two outlet ducts are made by plastics and engaged with each other. Each engaging portion has a connecting portion, wherein a protruding edge of the first connecting portion of the first outlet duct has a through restricting hole, and a through slot is diagonally and recessedly formed at the opening of two protruding edges and the through slot and the restricting hole are connected perpendicularly. The second connecting portion has a block protrudingly on both sides and the block is engaged with the restricting hole of the first outlet duct. According to the abovementioned structure, two outlet ducts penetrate through both sides of the outlet pipe, align to engage and then turn, so the two outlet ducts can be fast, easily and securely positioned at the bended outlet pipe.
Abstract: A ball valve operative in a cryogenic temperature range, includes a housing having a fluid passage therethrough, a ball rotatably positioned in the fluid passage and including a fluid passage therethough, the fluid passages of the housing and the ball allowing fluid through the ball valve when the ball is in an open position and block the fluid when the ball is rotated into a closed position. The housing includes at least two sealing rings disposed therein, sealingly contacting the ball and positioned for rotatably holding the ball between the two sealing rings which include at least a surface layer of thermoplastic material contacting the ball surface and having an annular, circumferential groove in a contacting surface where the rings sealingly engage the ball and an annular recess in the sealing ring opposite to the circumferential groove for providing a spring lip for biasing the sealing ring against the ball.

Abstract: A coke drum bottom de-heading system having an internal shroud enclosure and a shroud end cap opened by a flange to a coke bottom de-heading valve capable of accepting the end of a gate valve upon actuation. Acting in coordination with the shroud enclosure to prevent the escape of steam is a gate seal assembly having a gate seal slidably engaged against the sliding gate to prevent the passage of steam thereby.
Abstract: A temporary ball valve support structure is utilized to apply pressure to the ball in a ball valve so that a seal is maintained between the ball and the upstream seal member in the ball valve to prevent fluid from leaking from the valve while the valve is being serviced. The temporary ball valve support allows a downstream seal member and the ball valve retainer housing assembly to be removed. This allows the outer seal and retainer to be replaced and/or serviced without allowing fluid to escape from the tank or pipe. First and second ball support members are alternately used to force the ball member against the upstream seal member.
Abstract: A variable control ball valve includes a valve body containing a valve body flow channel; a valve ball rotatably mounted within the valve body flow channel, the valve ball having a full volume diametric ball channel with a laterally extending ball channel extension having progressively diminishing cross-sectional area; and a mechanism for rotating the valve ball about a ball rotational axis relative to the valve body flow channel; so that when the valve ball is rotated beyond the point at which the ball channel is aligned with the valve body flow channel, the valve body flow channel aligns with progressively narrower segments of the ball channel extension and the flow rate through the valve body flow channel is progressively diminished.
