  • Patent number: 6539972
Abstract: An arrangement of pipelines of a high-pressure distribution network for liquid operating media, such as lubricants, coolants, and hydraulic pressure media for control members or drives, for a roll stand having a roll housing. The pipelines are supply pipelines, discharge pipelines, and distribution pipelines, wherein the roll stand has several consumers connected to the high-pressure distribution network for the liquid operating media. The supply lines and the discharge lines are combined to form modules of groups of pipelines mountable on the roll stand. The nominal pressure of the operating media is standardized within the pipelines of the high-pressure distribution network to a value of approximately 290 bar.

  • Patent number: 6267136
Abstract: A faucet assembly including a resilient reinforcing member that ensures the faucet set compresses a sealing gasket to prevent leaks. The faucet set is secured to the deck or mounting flange of a sink from below the sink using installation nuts that can fasten the faucet set to the sink mounting location using threaded members. A gasket fits between the top of the sink mounting flange and the bottom of the faucet set. On the opposite side of the sink flange mounting location for the faucet set, a resilient stiffener is placed that contains apertures through which the mounting threaded members extend. The installation nuts are threaded onto the threaded members compressing the resilient reinforcing member. The resiliency and modulus of the reinforcing member ensures that the gasket is compressed by the faucet set even if some stress is applied during use of the faucet set no gap appears between the faucet set, the gasket and the sink.

  • Patent number: 6148850
Abstract: A washing machine outlet box includes a bottom wall having a first drain port for a washing machine hose and a second drain port for a condensate line. Communicating with both drain ports is a common tailpiece integral with the bottom wall. The common tailpiece includes an outlet for connection to a drain pipe and wall sections defining a first passageway from the first drain port to the outlet and a second passageway from the second drain port to the outlet. This allows both drain ports to be connected to the drain pipe with only one solvent weld between the tailpiece and drain pipe.
