  • Patent number: 10711906
Abstract: A valve includes a cap, a diaphragm defining a movable portion, a valve housing, and a valve portion. An inlet port through which fluid flows into a valve chamber, an outlet port through which the fluid flows out from the valve chamber, and a placement portion on which a peripheral edge portion of the diaphragm is placed are provided in the valve housing. The diaphragm includes a peripheral edge portion, a center portion, a connecting portion connecting the peripheral edge portion and the center portion, and a pusher. The connecting portion has a wave shape from the peripheral edge portion side toward the center portion side such that the connecting portion first projects to a valve body portion side, and next projects to the cap side.

Abstract: A one-gauge one-turn regulator manifold includes a manifold body, a spring set, a knob set, an annular dial and one inlet pressure gauge. The outlet pressure is selected and adjusted by turning a control knob without a pressure gauge. The control knob with a marker indicating the outlet pressure from zero to maximum is rotatable within one turn. The knob set contains one adjusting screw which is used to fine-tune the pressure, and thus the outlet air pressure is calibrated as expected. The annular dial with pressure tick marks is located between the control knob and the manifold body. The outlet pressure is easy to selected and controlled by turning the knob to the desired pressure makers on the dial without the pressure gauge.

Abstract: A pressure control reservoir includes a valve ball and a shaft which is movable to move the valve ball to open or close a fluid path leading to a fluid reservoir chamber. The shaft has a tip with a slant surface which has a peripheral edge of a polygonal shape with even numbers of vertices and is inclined to the longitudinal center line of the shaft. Such a polygonal geometry increases an entire or inclined length of the slant surface, which results in an increased range where an angle which the slant surface makes with a plane extending perpendicular to an axial direction of the tip is permitted to be increased without causing the point of contact between the valve ball and the slant surface to be shifted close to the tip of the slant surface when the tip of the shaft moves the valve ball.
