Patent number: 8800605Abstract: A composite mandrel includes a filament-wound composite tube, and composite material molded over the filament-wound composite tube. For example, the composite material includes chopped fibers and a matrix of thermoset resin. The chopped fibers are arranged in layers upon the filament-wound composite tube, and the chopped fibers in each of the layers are randomly oriented along first and second orthogonal directions in each of the layers. The composite material includes at least one sheet of the composite material wound over the filament-wound tube, and at least one strip of the composite material wound over the sheet of the composite material and forming a head on the composite mandrel. An internal cavity of the filament-wound composite tube may provide a lumen for the composite mandrel. The internal cavity may be threaded to receive a removable bridge plug.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2013Date of Patent: August 12, 2014Assignee: Oil States Industries, Inc.Inventors: James Barlow, Joel Barlow

Publication number: 20140203027Abstract: Packaging containing a PVDC barrier layer is manufactured without any significant orientation, with the result that the PVDC harrier layer remains flexible at significantly greater thicknesses than when it is oriented. This increased thickness compensates for the reduced barrier properties resulting from less crystallinity of the PVDC, and hence multilayer plastic tubing can be manufactured in which PVDC is used as a barrier layer instead of aluminum.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2012Publication date: July 24, 2014Applicant: MACRO ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY INC.Inventors: Miroslav Planeta, Harinder Tamber

Patent number: 8778066Abstract: Disclosed is a vacuum pump exhaust pipe of a chemical vapor deposition apparatus, wherein two ports of the vacuum pump exhaust pipe are respectively connected to a vacuum pump outlet and a scrubber, and anti-sticking inner pipes are installed inside the exhaust pipe and closely contacted with inner walls of the exhaust pipe. The present invention also relates to a vacuum pump of the chemical vapor deposition apparatus. Blockage hardly occurs in the vacuum pump exhaust pipe of the chemical vapor deposition apparatus and the relevant vacuum pump according to the present invention to solve problems of the easily found blockage in the exhaust pipe, wasting the manpower and the time for clearing the exhaust pipe and the effect to the uptime of the chemical vapor deposition apparatus in the prior arts.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2011Date of Patent: July 15, 2014Assignee: Shenzhen China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.Inventor: Peng Chen

Patent number: 8778473Abstract: Provided is an economical multilayered resin tube-shaped body that can be safely used in a high-temperature environment such as an engine compartment. A multilayered resin tube-shaped body (1) having excellent heat resistance is obtained by fanning an outer layer (2) from a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 190-300° C. and fonning an inner layer (3) from a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 150-300° C. and low liquid or gas permeability. The thermoplastic resin that forms the outer layer (2) is preferably a resin having a hoop stress of 10 MPa or greater in a 120° C. atmosphere. Furthermore, the thermoplastic resin that forms the inner layer (3) is preferably a resin having a gasoline permeability of 1.0 g/m2·day or less.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2011Date of Patent: July 15, 2014Assignee: Sanoh Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hiromi Nakayama
