Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for separating a touch screen and a display screen, the apparatus comprises: a working base station configured to hold the touch screen and the display screen jointed together by a sealant; a heater mounted inside of the working base station and configured to heat and soften the sealant between the touch screen and the display screen; a saw wire arranged to contact a contact boundary between the touch screen and the display screen and to reciprocate at least in a tangent direction of the contact boundary so as to preliminarily separate the touch screen and the display screen; a first adsorption device configured to adsorb the display screen and remove the display screen from the touch screen; and a mutual moving mechanism configured to enable the saw wire to contact the contact boundary between the touch screen and the display screen and to move relative to the touch screen and display screen in a normal direction of the contact boundary.
Abstract: The adjusting device for a pressure roller of a processing machine has a pivotable support arm carrying a pressure roller adjustable with the support arm from a pressure position into a resting position. The support arm is seated on a support rod that engages a clamping aperture of a pressure roller bracket. The support rod has a first section with noncircular cross section that forms a form-fit section cooperating with the clamping aperture of the pressure roller bracket by form-fit. The support rod has a second section arranged axially offset to the first section and forming a rotary section. It rests against the inner side of the clamping aperture and allows rotation of the support rod about its axis in the clamping aperture. The pressure roller can be pivoted easily into a resting position and/or transverse to the workpiece in the width direction with a constructively simple design.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses for shape sawing wood. Specifically, embodiments include an infeed with laterally displaceable positioning rolls and a longitudinal axis between the positioning rolls. The embodiments further include a saw box with a frame and a plurality of saws coupled with a plurality of vertical arbors within the frame. In certain embodiments, the frame is operable to move laterally or rotationally with respect to a horizontal axis of rotation.

Abstract: A two-sided planer comprises a base, an adjusting base, and a floated pressing unit. Wherein, the floated pressing unit includes an axle shaft superimposed by several pressing rings. A spacing is defined between an inner surface of the pressing ring and the axle shaft. Plural elastic propping element are disposed within the spacing. Thereby, in the planing operation, the pressing rings adjust their positions upward or downward in accordance with a configuration of a workpiece. Whereby, the workpiece is restricted rather than warped. As a result, the workpiece does not resume warped after being planed smooth, which allows the two-sided planer to achieve a preferable planing operation.
Abstract: Texturing apparatuses and methods are provided for forming a textured surface on a panel. An exemplary texturing apparatus has a bed and a mount having at least one cutting blade that can be configured to impart a cut to a top structural surface of the panel as the panel is moved along the bed. The bed is configured to receive the panel and can define one or more openings. The mount is operably positioned in the opening and can be articulated in one or more directions with respect to the plane of the bed.
Abstract: A planer and thicknesser comprising a frame having a passageway that substantially extends through the frame. The planer and thicknesser further comprises an upper table having front and rear sections mounted on the frame, wherein a slot is located between the front and rear sections of the upper table, and a lower table moveably mounted within the passageway. The planer and thicknesser also comprises a cutting drum rotatably mounted within the frame such that a portion of the cutting drum projects upwardly through the slot and a portion of the cutting drum projects downwardly into the passage way. The planer and thicknesser also comprises a cover mounted above the upper table capable of being moved from a first position where it covers a portion of the cutting drum to a second position where it does not cover a portion of the cutting drum.
Abstract: The invention provides a power tool planer which includes a drum with at least one blade thereon located within a chamber in the tool housing. One end of the chamber is provided with an opening which can be selectively closed by a guard. The guard can be moveable between a first closed position and a second position in which the chamber is opened, and the guard is moved into a recess in the housing to improve the ability to use the tool in confined spaces, as the guard lies flush with a side wall of the housing. Also provided is a dust and debris extraction system and a means for adjusting the depth of cut obtained using the tool.
Abstract: A combination planer/moulder having means to raise, lower and lock a cutting member at a desired position is provided. The device includes a platform onto which a table for holding materials and an adjustment system are attached. The adjustment system includes at least one column having a rectilinear wall. A cutterhead is provided, having cooperative openings and a locking means, such that it may move along the at least one column of the adjustment system and locked in place. The rectilinear wall of the column cooperates with a similarly shaped opening in the cutterhead, such that by pressing the rectilinear shaped side of the opening against the rectilinear wall of the column the cutterhead may be fixed in desirable positions to permit work on materials and released for adjustment. The device includes a window such that the placement of the cutting knives on the materials can be viewed and debris can be seen and removed therefrom.
Abstract: A light weight carrier movable along vertical guide posts of a wood planer includes left and right mounting seats having front and rear support blocks projecting oppositely and inwardly therefrom, front and rear guide holes adapted for extension of the guide posts, and cutter mounting holes each disposed between front and rear support blocks and between the front and rear guide holes, front and rear connecting rods each having left and right end sections respectively connected to the left and right mounting seats at the front and rear support blocks; a motor mounting plate fixed between the front support blocks; and a rear cover plate fixed between the rear support blocks.
Abstract: A working platform provided with a manual wood planer is provided with a base the two sides of which are both formed with workbenches, a working platform being thereby formed. The workbench is formed with a pedestal and a granite slate is mounted at the top of pedestal. The slate is polished and ground into a working portion at the top, and a combination portion at the bottom, and several securing holes are on the combination portion. A strip-shaped hole opposite to each securing hole is formed. The position of slate may be tuned and the error margin of distance between the thru hole and the securing hole is allowed to avoid the slate, when being secured, from cracking. With the features of high level degree, low friction efficiency, and no internal stress that are provided in the granite, the working platform is featured with perfect processing accuracy and durability.
Abstract: A jointer system comprises a blade assembly, a base, an infeed table, and a measurement system. The base supports the blade assembly for rotation about a blade axis. The infeed table is movably supported by the base. The measurement system comprises a stop member, a gauge assembly, and a display assembly. The stop member defines a stop plane. The gauge assembly comprises a gauge, a pin member supported by the gauge such that the pin member is in contact with the stop member, and a display assembly. As the infeed table moves relative to the base, the gauge assembly generates a measurement signal indicative of vertical displacement of the infeed table relative to the base. The display assembly generates a display image based on the measurement signal.
Abstract: A wood planing machine includes a base adapted to permit a workpiece to be moved thereon in a front-to-rear direction, a plurality guide posts fixed on the base, a mounting seat sleeved movably on the guide posts, a motor disposed on the mounting seat, and a cutting unit disposed on the mounting seat. The cutting unit includes a rough-plane cutter, a fine-plane cutter disposed behind the rough-plane cutter, a first transmission unit interconnecting the motor and the rough-plane cutter to allow the rough-plane cutter to be driven by the motor, and a second transmission unit interconnecting the rough-plane cutter and the fine-plane cutter to allow rotation of the rough-plane cutter to be transferred to the fine-plane cutter.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for forming a flat surface on a workpiece. The apparatus includes a cutterhead, having a plurality of cutting member, configured for forming a plurality of grooves in a workpiece. The cutterhead may be disposed generally at the interface of substantially parallel offset first and a second supports in order to form a plurality of grooves defining a datum or reference plane which may be implemented to orientate the workpiece for forming a flat surface. A plurality of ridges or the like structures defining grooves are included in the second support or as an attachment to the second support in order to support the workpiece from the material forming the interior surface of the grooves so that the workpiece may be orientated with respect to the datum plane. In an additional aspect, a second cutterhead may be included for removing or forming a flat surface which is parallel to the datum plane.
Abstract: A dust collector has a shroud mounted to the connecting rods of the pivoting assembly of a contractor's table saw. The shroud is configured to surround the lower portion of the saw blade when the blade is fully raised, and most of the blade's diameter when it is fully lowered. The shroud is equipped with a nozzle for connection of a dust collection hose. The shroud extends upwardly between the connecting rods of the pivoting assembly and between the front and rear trunnions. The longitudinal outside surfaces of the shroud are provided with shoulders that abut the connecting rods. Retainers engage the connecting rods to support the shroud against the shoulders. Thus, the dust collector is suspended below and removably connected to the pivoting assembly of the table saw. One corner of the shroud includes an opening to accommodate the arbor bracket and its vertical movement.
Abstract: The automatic wood planer includes two front columns separately assembled at both sides of the input end of the feed table of the main body. The pin joint end of the rotary support is screwed at the preset location of the feed table. The swinging end of the rotary support is connected to the lifting seat, so that the cutter shaft is assembled between the pin joint end of the rotary support and the swinging end. The present invention saves more components and reduces the volume and fabrication costs with improved economic efficiency and applicability.
Abstract: The invention of this application relates to a hand or power tool (10) which can be used as a planer such that movement of the tool along a workpiece causes a portion of the material of the workpiece to be removed by at least one cutter blade provided on the tool at a baseplate of the tool which contacts with the workpiece. The tool is provided with at least one movable portion (32, 48, 68) which can be moved with respect to the baseplate and hence the tool. The said portion can be angularly movable (32) to allow a chamfer cut to be accurately achieved and/or can be slidably movable (48) with respect to the baseplate so as to protrude from an edge thereof to allow greater cutting accuracy to be achieved. In a further embodiment the movable portion (68) can be provided so as to be moved to allow user access to at least one debris conduit.

Abstract: A planning and polishing machine includes a base, an intermediate base installed with a conveying device for laying a workpiece, and an upper base pivotally fixed with at least a planer and a grinding roller. A driving motor is installed below the conveying device, with its shaft engaged with a first driving wheel and a second driving wheel with different diameters. The first driving wheel and the blade are mounted by a first driving element, and the second driving wheel and the grinding roller are mounted by a second driving element. When the driving motor is turned on to draw the first driving element and the second driving element, the blade and the grinding roller are to be meanwhile driven to rotate in different rotating speeds, enabling the blade to powerfully plane the surface of a wood, achieving a high precision and efficiency of planning and polishing.
Abstract: An adjusting device for the conveying belt of a planer includes a fundamental plate assembled on the base of a planer. The fundamental plate has its rear end disposed with a rear roller unit connected with the base of the planer and composed of two adjusting plates and a rear roller. The two adjusting plates are respectively bored with longitudinal insert slots preset in number to enable the adjusting plates to be slidably assembled on the fundamental plate. Each adjusting plate has its front end extending outward vertically and forming a positioning wall pivotally fixed thereon with a positioning member and movably fastened on the base of the planer. The adjusting device for the conveying belt of this invention is simple in structure and easy to be assembled, lowering processing and assembling cost.
Abstract: A tool-shaft locking device for a planing machine is connected with a second end of the tool shaft having a first end connected with a belt wheel, including a bearing base, a locking rod, a spring and a locking button. The bearing base has a sidewise hole, two opposite deep position grooves at an upper and a lower side of the hole and two opposite shallow grooves at a right and a left side, and the locking rod has a first threaded end tightly engaging a center threaded hole of the locking button, which has two opposite position projections possible to be fitted tightly in the deep grooves so that the inner end of the locking rod may insert in one of position holes of the tool shaft body so as to lock the tool shaft immovable. Then a planing knife fixed on the tool shaft with bolts can be adjusted in its position, conveniently by easily screwing off the bolts.

Abstract: A swiftly adjusting device for a blade shaft of a planer includes a blade shaft movably positioned in a blade opening of a worktable superposed on a machine body. The machine body has an adjusting hollow space formed in a front portion, and the adjusting hollow space has an adjusting member pivotally connected with a center portion and movable up and down. The blade shaft has an adjusting bearing support pivotally connected to a front end and received in the adjusting hollow space. The bottom of the adjusting bearing support contacts the upper end of the adjusting member so that the blade shaft can be minutely and swiftly adjusted in its level to the worktable by adjusting the adjusting member in a minute way.
Abstract: A quick elevating and micro-adjusting device for the worktable of a manual planer includes a base, a stationary worktable, a movable worktable and an adjustment device. The adjustment device has its support shaft inserted in the fixing holes of two side plates of the movable worktable. The adjustment device has an elevating rod to be moved up or down for actuating the support shaft to quickly move the movable worktable upward or downward. A micro-adjusting rod has its worm engaged with the worm gear of a threaded shaft for rotating together to drive the threaded rod of the threaded shaft to rotate and move the holding frame of the threaded shaft, which is secured on the movable worktable. Thus, by turning the micro-adjusting rod, the movable worktable can be micro-adjusted in position. Thus the worktable can be adjusted quickly and precisely.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a wood processing machine adapted to cut wood workpieces along multiple optimized cutting paths. In various embodiments, the wood processing machine includes a first saw assembly and a second saw assembly that is disposed down stream from the first saw assembly. The first saw assembly is adapted to cut the workpiece along the first optimized cutting path and the second saw assembly is adapted to cut the workpiece along the second optimized cutting path.
Abstract: A hood assembly for converting a surface planer between at least two operative modes for expelling chips removed from a workpiece being planed is provided. The hood assembly includes a manifold that is releasably attachable to the carriage assembly. The hood assembly also includes a hood door that is actuatable between at least two operative positions relative to the manifold, thereby providing at least two operative modes for expelling chips from the planer.

Abstract: A planing heads positioning device to be used with an automatic planing machine for planing sides of a piece of lumber moving along a travelling course is provided. The device includes a main frame and a planing assembly including first and second planing head arranged on opposite sides of the travelling course. The planning assembly further includes first and second supports respectively supporting the first and second planing heads. The first support is slidably mounted to the main frame, and the second support is operatively connected to the first support. The device also includes a primary positioning mechanism connected to the first support to position the planing assembly relative to the main frame; and a secondary positioning mechanism operatively connected to the supports to modify the planing width.

Abstract: An apparatus for a portable planer 12 having rails 14 with means for mounting to a single use stand 16, 18. The planer 12 has a pair of rails 14 with bolts 48 depending from the base thereof having threads with nuts 50 positioned on the distal ends whereby a stand 16, 18 having been constructed on site and leveled regardless of ground slope has means for receiving the threaded bolts 48 whereupon fasteners may be placed on the rail post distal ends whereby the rails form an integral part of the single use stand. Abstract: The present invention is directed to a power finishing tool having a variable position handle. In aspects of the present invention, a power finishing tool includes a motor housing for containing a motor configured to drive a working element. A variable position handle such as linear handle is adjustable generally toward/away from a power cord such that the power cord is maintained in a standard orientation (i.e., toward the rear of the tool/the direction toward a user). In a further aspect a joystick type variable handle is configured to pivot about a Z-axis extending through the power finishing tool. Suitable adjustment mechanisms include a track type mechanism wherein the handle travels along a track, a rotating bracket mechanism for permitting linear adjustment of the handle may be included for varying the position of the handle, and a ball and socket mechanism.
Abstract: A quick shifting and micro-adjusting device for the angle blocking plate of a planing machine includes a material conveying table connected with a fundamental base having a support member extending downward. A shaft able to slide axially has its inner end inserted through the support member and its outer end connected with a hand wheel. A transmission gear is firmly fitted on the intermediate portion of the shaft, having its upper portion properly protruding out of the upper side of fundamental base and able to move together with the shaft. An upper holding frame assembled on the fundamental base has a rack able to be engaged with or disengaged from the transmission gear. Thus, the angle block plate can be shifted quickly and micro-adjusted accurately by pushing, pulling and turning of the hand wheel.
Abstract: A planer including a housing having a base planing surface for contacting a workpiece, a rotatable blade cylinder located within said housing and including more than one cutting blade for engaging with and planing the work piece. A drive means is associated with the blade cylinder and operable to cause rotation of the blade cylinder. The drive means is located within the housing, above the axis of rotation of the blade cylinder and a chip an debris removal channel passes from the location of the cylinder to the rear end of the planer.
Abstract: A precision adjustable woodworking platform that is self-calibrating and designed to move a tool very accurately back and forth horizontally and up and down. One of a number of different woodworking tools is fastened in a saddle that can be rotated and set at a selected angle for operations such as mitering. A floating work table is provided for holding a workpiece at any angle to a cutting tool movement direction. At the same time, the floating work table can be moved precisely forward and backward. The invention woodworking platform is relatively inexpensive, while providing for accurate straight, angled and depth cuts; all without needing external instruments.

Abstract: An apparatus for optimizing orientation of a workpiece in a planermill for feeding of the workpiece into a planer includes an infeed to the planer, a workpiece turner for selectively turning the workpiece end-for-end upstream of the planer on the infeed a workpiece flipper for selectively flipping the workpiece one hundred eighty degrees about a longitudinal axis of the workpiece upstream of the planer on the infeed, a scanner on the infeed upstream of the workpiece turner and workpiece flipper for detecting defects on the workpiece, a processor cooperating with the scanner, the workpiece turner and the workpiece flipper for optimizing the orientation of the workpiece relative to status and actively translatable cutterheads in the planer.
Abstract: A debris collection container for a planer comprising a receptacle for storage of debris generated by a planer and a connector which connects the receptacle to a planer and through which debris can pass from the a planer to the receptacle, wherein the receptacle is provided an aperture through which the debris within the container can be removed, which aperture is sealed by cap, said cap releasably attachable to the receptacle by a bayonet type connector.

Abstract: A portable power planer for planing the top surface of a workpiece. The portable power planer includes a base assembly, a carriage assembly disposed above the base assembly, the carriage assembly includes a cutterhead assembly, the carriage assembly being vertically movable to change distance between the base assembly and the carriage assembly, a hand crank attached to the carriage assembly for changing the distance between the base assembly and the carriage assembly, a material removal gauge disposed on the carriage assembly, a switch disposed on the carriage assembly, and a height scale disposed on the base assembly, wherein the material removal gauge, the switch and the height scale are on the front side of the power planer, and the hand crank is substantially on the front half of the power planer.

Abstract: An optimizing planer system includes a control system; a workpiece feed path; and, an optimizing planer. The optimizing planer is operably coupled to the control system. The optimizing planer is located along the workpiece feed path and has an entrance, for receipt of a rough workpiece, and an exit, for discharge of an at least partially Finished workpiece. The optimizing planer includes a cutting element. A workpiece interrogator is situated along the workpiece feed path, upstream of the entrance. The interrogator is operably coupled to the control system so to provide the control system with workpiece property information for each workpiece entering the optimizing planer. The control system provides the optimizing planer with control information based upon the workpiece property information for each workpiece.
Abstract: A wood planing machine includes a support carriage movably mounted on a mounting frame for supporting a cutting shaft. A motor housing and a shaving collecting member are mounted on the carriage. The collecting member defines a shaving passageway in the vicinity of the cutting shaft and in fluid communication with an air conduit such that an air stream introduced from the motor housing can entrain wood shavings collected in the collecting member. A blower mechanism includes a drive shaft coupled to and driven by the cutting shaft for rotating an impeller for drawing wood shavings from the collecting member into the blowing mechanism and out of a discharge member.
Abstract: A portable power planer for planing the top surface of a workpiece. The portable power planer includes a carriage assembly and a carriage elevation mechanism for translating the carriage assembly. The carriage elevation mechanism includes a plurality of threaded guide posts and an elevation mechanism that employs a plurality of threaded structures that are threadably engaged to the guide posts. A locking mechanism is also provided to inhibit movement of the carriage assembly along the guide posts.
