The trowel blade receiving plate is coupled to the mounting surface and is formed from a different material than the mounting surface.

A method of filling a surface-laying bowl is disclosed as well as a method for storing excess fluid in a bowl-filling apparatus.

The removable bracket allows the arrangement of the handle and broom head to be reversed so that both faces of the broom head and bristles can be used interchangeably for sweeping. Abstract: A connection system for securing a mop head to a mop handle. The system uses a handle connector component secured to the mop handle and a mop head connector component secured to the mop head. Through holes in the handle connector component are aligned with through holes in the mop head connector component. A resilient clip with protruding tabs is positioned in and around the mop head connector component, such that the tabs of the resilient clips extend through the aligned holes in the connector components. The resiliency of the clips compels the tabs into the holes, thus securing the components.

Abstract: Described are preferred sanitary cleaning devices that include a disposable cleaning head portion and a handle portion. The cleaning head is releasably connectable to the handle portion. The handle portion includes a pair of elongate rods laterally spaced relative to one another and capable of deflection toward one another. The rods present prongs that are selectively received within and removed from apertures provided in the cleaning head. To attach the cleaning head to the handle, the rods are deflected, for example by compressing a grip area, and the prongs are positioned adjacent the receiving apertures, and thereafter the rods are released. This causes the prongs to be received within the apertures, to connect the cleaning head to the handle. Preferred devices of the invention are advantageous in that the user need not touch the cleaning head or adjacent areas expected to contact materials from the toilet to achieve connection and removal of the head from the handle.

Abstract: Cleaning implement apparatus for cleaning boreholes formed within various different substrates, such as, for example, concrete slabs, concrete blocks, bricks, or the like, comprises a first embodiment for use within a power-operated tool, such as for example, a roto-hammer type power tool for drilling boreholes within concrete or brick substrates, while a second embodiment of the apparatus comprises a manually-operated tool. The first embodiment comprises a bit member having a slotted drive shank (SDS) connection for mounting within the chuck mechanism of the roto-hammer type power tool. In this manner, the same roto-hammer type power tool can be used for both drilling the borehole within the substrate as well as for cleaning the borehole by exchanging the cleaning implement for the drill bit.

The blade itself is formed integrally to the frame, but demarcated by a joint aligning the tapered upper surface. Opposite the tapered upper surface, a flat lower surface is recessed by an offset of a specific dimension to receive an absorbent tape. The tape is affixed to the flat lower surface by an adhesive, and provides an absorbent material to provide a wicking action for paint that may pass the outer edge. Finally, the tape is provided with a non-porous barrier film that prevents passage of fluid (paint) and allows the paint to be retained within the tape.

Abstract: A hand tool made up of a handle member and a tool clamp member where the handle member is made to receive the tool clamp member by engaging a flat surfaced extension of the tool clamp member with a mating hole in the handle member. The flat surfaced extension is tapered in shape and matches with a tapered hole in the handle providing a rigid fit when the handle member and tool clamp member are pressed together. The rigid fit of the two pieces is achieved by elastic properties of the handle member against the externally tapered flat surfaced extension of the tool clamp. The tool clamp provides means to uses replaceable blades or other tools to maintain the tool in good working condition while in use.
