Abstract: A formable handle toothbrush has a handle portion that allows a user to heat and form the handle to the shape of their hand to provide for more secure grip of the toothbrush. In one embodiment, a hand formable toothbrush has a toothbrush head attached to a shank that can be inserted into a socket within the toothbrush handle. This configuration allows for the use of replacement toothbrush heads. This makes manufacturing of higher cost handles more economical, as the formable handle portions would not be thrown out when the toothbrush head needs replacement. To customize the formable handle portion, a user may simply place the toothbrush, or handle portion of the toothbrush, in boiling water for a period of time and then remove the toothbrush handle, allow it to cool to a safe temperature and then grasp the handle to form it into the shape of their hand.

Abstract: A cleaning assembly including a disposable cleaning implement having a cleaning element mounted to a fitment having an elongated post. The cleaning assembly includes an elongated maneuvering wand having a handle portion and a distal implement attachment end thereof. A gripping mechanism is coupled to the wand attachment end, and is configured to releasably grip the fitment post to mount the cleaning implement. The gripping mechanism and the maneuvering wand cooperate to substantially limited pivotal movement of a longitudinal axis of the fitment post, relative a longitudinal axis of the gripping mechanism to not more than about 0 degrees to about 25 degrees when the fitment post is subjected to forces radial to the longitudinal axis of the fitment post.

Abstract: An apparatus configured as a scrub brush having an ergonomic handle. The body of the handle is designed to move an upper elongate portion of the scrub brush to a vertical position in a ‘rocking’ motion. To move the head of the scrub brush above the body, the ‘rocker brush’ includes a stabilizing weight positioned within a cavity formed in a rounded bottom of the handle. The weight in the rounded bottom causes the scrub brush to ‘flip’ upwards in a rocking motion when a user sets the scrub brush on a flat surface, such as a kitchen or bathroom countertop.

Abstract: The Paint Torpedo is a small foam mini football shaped device, made of closed cell urethane, with an opening through the center, top to bottom, in which the handle of a paintbrush is inserted. The Paint Torpedo rests on the base or neck of the brush. To paint, one grasps the Paint Torpedo instead of the handle of the brush. With the football shape of the Paint Torpedo one is able to enjoy a firmer grip of the brush by a relaxed grasp on the flexible Paint Torpedo. The brush is held at a more natural angle and by grasping the soft device instead of the hard handle of the brush there is less stress, tension and strain on hand and wrist muscles. The results include cutting much straighter lines and a professional looking job, even by a novice.

Abstract: A broom assembly is provided. The broom assembly includes a broom head which comprises an elongated back plate and a plurality of bristles extending from the back plate. The broom assembly also includes an elongated mounting plate which is attached to the back plate and extends over a longitudinal end of the back plate. A handle receiving bracket is attached to the mounting plate, projecting the same direction from the mounting plate as the broom head. The handle receiving bracket comprises at least two receiving cavities for attaching a handle. The broom assembly further comprises an elongated handle for insertion in the handle receiving bracket.

Abstract: An improved toothbrush device includes a handle grip having a slot with a handle configured to fit within the slot opening to hold a toothbrush in place. The device of the present invention is larger than conventional devices and, thus, minimizes the need to bring the hand into a tighter grip in order to hold the toothbrush while in use. The device of the present invention is provided as a two-piece kit, such that the first and second pieces fit together when in use or in storage.

Abstract: Disclosed is a brush holder having a hollow, box-like upper structure with interior contours conformable to the shape of the ferrule and heel of a paintbrush. The lower structure of the brush holder comprises a hollow, primarily longitudinal staff, said staff affixed at its top end to the brush holder. The lower, open end of the staff comprises a circular opening with interior female threads. By use of an extension pole having compatible male threads at one end, a workman, after insertion of a paintbrush into said brush holder, may engage the threads of the brush holder with the threads of the extension pole until a firm and secure attachment is achieved. In this manner, there is provided a greater range of brush contact for applying paint to an otherwise hard-to-reach surface.

Abstract: An industrial long handled tool component system is provided having interchangeable tool heads, connectors, handles and grips. The novel connector system provides a polygonal locking bar concentric with a round outer reinforcing collar both engaged by a material connector insert and separated by plastic isolations seals. The novel connector promotes connection integrity and prevents joint movement. An alternate embodiment provides a connector system without the collar to save weight and manufacturing cost.
