Abstract: Buoyant, autonomous devices for actively scrubbing upstanding walls of swimming pools and spas at and nearby their waterlines are detailed. The devices may be configured to float on and travel along a surface of water of a pool and include at least one brush or scrubber adapted to contact pool walls. An electric motor may cause the scrubber to rotate about a shaft or axle, with frictional contact between the scrubber and the wall dislodging dirt and debris therefrom. In particular, if a scrubber is conically shaped and angled relative to the vertical direction, its rotating blades may lift water from the pool to hydrate dried debris stuck to the wall, thereby facilitating dislodging of the debris.

Abstract: A hair brush apparatus comprises a handle, an outer frame extending from the handle, and an inner frame, each with proximal and distal ends. A suspension assembly comprises a base suspension member attaching the outer frame proximal end to the inner frame proximal end. The suspension assembly enables relative movement of the inner frame with respect to the outer frame in at least two axes, selected from a longitudinal, lateral and transverse axis. Abstract: A makeup applicator storage system includes a makeup applicator holder that has a first end and a second end. The makeup applicator holder is shaped to hold a makeup applicator at the first end firmly enough that the makeup applicator holder can be used as a handle during makeup application. The makeup applicator holder includes first ferromagnetic material at the second end of the makeup applicator holder. A storage container has a storage lid that includes second ferromagnetic material at an underside of the storage lid. The second ferromagnetic material is oriented at an underside of the storage lid so that the makeup applicator holder can be magnetically attached to the storage lid allowing the makeup applicator, when held by the makeup applicator holder, to be hung from the storage lid when the storage lid is on the storage container and the storage container is oriented so that the storage lid is on a top of the storage container.
Abstract: A heated shaving brush having a housing with an interior space that houses a shaft that acts as a tube to allow shaving cream or similar lubricating agent to pass through to a bristle assembly that a user applies to their body. The shaft is adjacent to a heating element that is powered by alternating or direct current, thereby heating the shaving cream as it passes through the hollowed shaft. A graduated knob can modulate the speed at which the shaving cream passes through the shaft, thereby increasing or decreasing the temperature of the shaving cream before it is applied to a user's face.

The touch-points may include thicker and thinner formations of the touch-points to provide firmer or softer vibrations to the skin. The touch-points are within about 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter. One configuration includes multiple oscillating motors configured to provide different vibration frequencies at around 50-300 Hertz and operable simultaneously.

Abstract: A dental tool for resurfacing thread forms of a dental implant is disclosed. The tool includes a main body having a cylindrical member with a slot. In its extended position, towels can be draped over the arm for drying and water dripping therefrom falls into the sink. In its extended position, the arm is prevented from unintentionally falling into its retracted position. The brush may be pressed against the wheel of the bicycle to clear debris. The push rod is used to move the brush towards or away from the wheel depending on if the wheel needs to be cleaned. The spring-loaded control mechanism interacts with the pushrod to either push the brush towards or away from the wheel. The housing sleeve is used to protect the spring-loaded control mechanism and to limit how far the pushrod may be moved.

In one embodiment, the insert includes a base from which extends an outer wall that defines a chamber. A plurality of complaint fingers extend from the base into the chamber. A plurality of wipers extend radially inward from the outer wall into the chamber to enable the cleansing of both the exterior surface and an interior surface of the medical device.
Abstract: Device for removing moisture from a woodwind instrument are disclosed. The woodwind cleaner is comprised of a semi-rigid inner wire, encased in absorbent material, then enclosed in a soft, absorbent outer covering. When not in use, the device can be coiled or wrapped around itself for easy storage, then easily returns to full length for use. The device can be used to clean the moisture from an instrument without disassembling it. The device is intended to be stored outside the case and to be easily portable.
Abstract: A storm water entry prevention apparatus for a sliding door system includes a base, a shield, a wedge, and an adapter. The base connects with the bottom side of the existing door frame from the outside while the shield connects to the base from the top end. The shield is angularly positioned with the existing sliding door so that the water can be easily flow away from the base. When the sliding door is opened or closed, the wedge gently pushes the shield away from the sliding door system. In order to accommodate the screen door, the adapter is connected with the base and the existing door frame.
