Abstract: The microbial scrub brush in one embodiment employs an insert that is impregnated with an anti-bacterial disinfectant and that is housed within a housing of alcohol-compatible material and sealed over by a removable lid. The insert is maintained in sterile condition until ready for use. After removal of the lid, the insert is moved over the end of a female luer or other portion of a medical device and rotated in order to clean the exterior surface as well as the interior luminal surface of the device. In one embodiment, the insert includes a base from which extends an outer wall that defines a chamber. A plurality of complaint fingers extend from the base into the chamber. A plurality of wipers extend radially inward from the outer wall into the chamber to enable the cleansing of both the exterior surface and an interior surface of the medical device.

Abstract: Device for removing moisture from a woodwind instrument are disclosed. The woodwind cleaner is comprised of a semi-rigid inner wire, encased in absorbent material, then enclosed in a soft, absorbent outer covering. When not in use, the device can be coiled or wrapped around itself for easy storage, then easily returns to full length for use. The device can be used to clean the moisture from an instrument without disassembling it. The device is intended to be stored outside the case and to be easily portable.

Abstract: A storm water entry prevention apparatus for a sliding door system includes a base, a shield, a wedge, and an adapter. The base connects with the bottom side of the existing door frame from the outside while the shield connects to the base from the top end. The shield is angularly positioned with the existing sliding door so that the water can be easily flow away from the base. When the sliding door is opened or closed, the wedge gently pushes the shield away from the sliding door system. In order to accommodate the screen door, the adapter is connected with the base and the existing door frame.

Abstract: A cosmetic applicator has a base, a brush retained by the base and a cap positioned on the base in a closed configuration of the applicator to fully enclose the brush within the applicator. An antimicrobial device is retained within the cap and is configured for direct contact with the bristles of the brush in the closed configuration of the applicator.

Abstract: The household or body care brush has a handle and a bristle arrangement supported thereby. The bristle support and the bristles formed integrally therewith are produced in an injection moulding process. A plurality of injected bristles are arranged in each case such that they stand closely adjacent to one another in a bristle bundle. The bristle bundles on the other hand are arranged with a space between the bundles. The invention further relates to an injection mould that is particularly suited to producing household brushes or body care brushes comprising bristle bundles, the longitudinal directions of which run at an angle to one another or are out of square with one another.

Abstract: In one example according to the teachings of the present invention, a hair brush has a brush head with a working surface, a plurality of monofilament bristles protruding from the working surface of the brush head, and a microfiber material exposed on a portion of the working surface of the brush head. In one example, the hair brush can also have a plurality of bristle tufts protruding from the working surface of the brush head. In one example, the hair brush can also have a bristle carrier connected to the brush head. The plurality of monofilament bristles can be attached to the bristle carrier.

Abstract: A hair brush cover for use in covering the bristles of a hair brush having bristles and a handle, the hair brush cover having a net component with a closed end and an open end. An elastic band is adapted around the open end. The open end of the net component is sized and configured to fit over the bristles of the hair brush while the elastic band retains the hair brush cover on the handle thereof. The hair brush cover thereby provides users with a quick and convenient manner in which to remove unwanted hair from within the bristles of a hair brush.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is cleaning structure attachable to a submersible pool cleaning vehicle (PCV). In one exemplary embodiment the PCV has an endless loop track and a chassis therefore. The cleaning structure attaches to the chassis and acts as a cap covering the drive wheels and track. The cleaning structure includes a base and bristles extending outwardly therefrom. The bristles define fingers. In one embodiment, the fingers are of a uniform length. In another embodiment, the fingers are of a graduated length. Others embodiments include the fingers being distributed on the base in a random pattern. In one embodiment, the cleaning structure defines a single insert. In another, the cleaning structure includes multiple inserts.

The perimeter of aperture (20), part of tube (22), has a round contour (84) on the outside edge of tube brushing end (68). The tube length being predetermined for working efficiency. The rounded outside edge of tube brushing end (68) does not allow hair cutting. Other embodiments using aperture (20), contour (84), and tube (22) are described and shown.

The bristles of the automatic cleaning and hair-removing slant brush are fixed on a slanted angle to the fixed bristle surface. The bristles have an inclined angle with the fixed bristle surface, so that its strength when brushing pet hairs is re-enforced.

Abstract: An unblocking roller for removing excess material from the openings of cells of a honeycomb core is disclosed. The unblocking roller includes a cylindrical core having a center axis and a plurality of clusters each comprising a plurality of bristles. Each of the plurality of bristles of each cluster is coupled to the core at a first end and projecting outward from the core. Each bristle projects a minimum of a first distance from the core. Each cluster is separated from adjacent clusters by at least a second distance that is at least 20% of the first distance.

Once laid on a surface, the pad of the article is elevated away from the surface to prevent soiling. The looped material of the pad is cleanable with at least soap and water, and dries rapidly.

Abstract: A lipstick painting tool having a cover sleeve that is moveable between a proximal position exposing painting bristles and a distal position covering the painting bristles. The cover sleeve is moveable through relative rotation of the same along a base shaft such that engaged internal and external threads cause movement along a longitudinal axis. The paint bristles are part of a tip that is removable and replaceable. The tool may include an extension coupling for receiving an extension tool. A central paint tube may be included to supply paint directly to the bristles from a paint reservoir as by pump or similar means.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning golf clubs is provided. The apparatus includes a substantially symmetrical body having a first pocket opposite a second pocket for accepting fingers or a thumb of a user. The first and second pockets are flexibly coupled by a hinge portion and define a first opening for receiving a head of a golf club. A second opening is defined by the opening ends of the first and second pockets and is configured for receiving a hand of the user. The first and second pocket have opposing exterior walls which can be brought into contact with a golf club head to clean same. At least one of the opposing exterior walls will include an abrasive surface, e.g., bristles, for cleaning a surface of the golf club head. In other embodiments, both opposing exterior walls will include abrasive surfaces to facilitate cleaning of the golf club head.

The brush allows a gap between the bristles to be enlarged, thereby making removal using human fingers much easier. Abstract: A cosmetic brush system for applying a product to a surface is disclosed. The cosmetic brush system may include a displaceable cap coupled to a handle and a group of bristles fixed to one end of the handle. The displaceable cap may be slideably or peelably coupled to the handle. The handle may include ballast to position a centroid of the cosmetic brush closer to the end of the handle. In embodiments where the displaceable cap is a slideable cap, an end cap may be fixed to the end of the handle and the slideable cap and the end cap may form a uniform elongated cylindrical shape having the same outer diameter. The displaceable cap may also include a ventilation system. By virtue of having a displaceable cap permanently coupled to the handle of the cosmetic brush system, the user cannot misplace the cap and the system is portable and convenient.

Y is less than X which means that one end of all bristles conforming to this rule must be embedded in adhesive composition but not all bristles will extend all the way to the tip end of the cluster. Abstract: One or more techniques or systems for cleaning wafers during semiconductor fabrication or an associated brush are provided herein. In some embodiments, the brush includes a brush body and one or more inner hole supports within the brush body. For example, a first inner hole support and a second inner hole support define a first inner hole associated with a first size. For another example, a third inner hole support and a fourth inner hole support define a second inner hole associated with a second size different than the first size. In some embodiments, a cleaning solution is applied to a wafer based on a first flow rate at a first brush position and based on a second flow rate at a second brush position. In this manner, a flow field associated with wafer cleaning is provided, thus enhancing cleaning efficiency, for example.
