Abstract: A precision paint brush formed from an arcuate ferrule attached to a handle and carrying a number of filaments oriented into a complementary arch shape for accurate and efficient administration of liquids such as paint is provided. By creating an apex within the application surface as formed by the arched filaments, the brush produces a more focused application surface area, particularly useful in situations such as painting a wall in close proximity to the ceiling, as pressure by the user into the substrate compels the filaments to spread out without exceeding the defined apex area.

Abstract: A faucet cleaner. The faucet cleaner includes a supply bottle having a base, a sidewall extending from the base, and a neck. The neck includes a top end having a rim forming an opening into the supply bottle. A delivery cup is secured to the neck of the supply bottle. The delivery cup includes a base and a sidewall extending from the base. A channel runs from inside the supply bottle through the opening formed by the rim of the neck, through the base of the pump mechanism and into delivery cup so that the top end is disposed in the delivery cup. A plurality of bristles are secured to the base of the delivery cup and disposed within the delivery cup.

Abstract: A back scrubbing assembly includes a reservoir that may be filled with a liquid soap. The reservoir may be coupled to a wall in a shower. A plurality of couplers is provided and each of the couplers is coupled to the reservoir. Each of the couplers may engage the wall in the shower. A plurality of cleaning members is provided. A selected one of the cleaning members is removably coupled to the reservoir. Thus, the selected cleaning member may scrub a back of a user.

Abstract: A dual-purpose hair styling and retention device including a curved handle having a top surface couplable to a user's head and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, the top surface and the bottom surface forming a hand gripping surface. The dual-purpose hair styling and retention device also includes a base pivotally coupled to the handle, the base having an upper surface and a bottom surface opposite the upper surface, the upper surface including a plurality of bristles coupled thereto. The dual-purpose hair styling and retention device further includes an extended configuration in which the handle extends from the base to expose the hand gripping surface and a hair-retention configuration in which the base is selectively coupled to the bottom surface of the handle to at least partially obstruct the hand gripping surface and expose the plurality of bristles.

Abstract: A surface cleaning implement for use with an elongated handle is provided. The implement includes a largely rectangular and asymmetric body region with rounded outer edges, largely planar upper and lower surfaces, and upstanding contact material coextensively disposed thereon. The body region is a largely flattened structure having a first and second leading edge corner, the corners comprising where the leading edge of the body region transitions to the side edges. The first corner comprises a large, sweeping radius for cleaning curving and open surfaces. The second corner comprises a sharp corner having a small radius, chamfered, protuberant, or largely square corner wherein overly elongated and stiffened contact material extends therefrom for contacting surfaces within corners or within confined areas. The head region includes a back end having a handle receiving sheath and suitable support therefor, wherein an elongated handle is attached thereto for use away from the user's person.

Abstract: A wheel brush assembly for use of the wheelchair that includes: a housing; a spring within the housing, where the spring extends from a first end of the housing; a brush that abuts one side of the spring at a first end of the brush; a plurality of bristles on a second end of the brush that extends out of an opening of the housing; and a magnet that enables the attachment of the housing onto a wheel brake. The plurality of bristles come in contact with a wheel of the wheelchair during operation, wherein the spring urges the plurality of bristles into contact with the wheel. Preferably, the plurality of bristles disengages with the wheel upon application of the brake.

The mounting system of the Wheelchair Contamination Shield optionally includes removable foam blocks and arcuate mounting slots. The combination of these elements simplifies the process of mounting the device on the wheelchair.

Abstract: A bicycle wheel cleaning system is used to clear dirt and debris from one or more of the wheels of a bicycle. The system includes at least one wheel cleaning assembly which is attached to a bicycle. The at least one wheel assembly is used to easily clean the wheel of a bicycle and includes a brush, a pushrod, a housing sleeve, and a spring-loaded control mechanism. The brush may be pressed against the wheel of the bicycle to clear debris. The push rod is used to move the brush towards or away from the wheel depending on if the wheel needs to be cleaned. The spring-loaded control mechanism interacts with the pushrod to either push the brush towards or away from the wheel. The housing sleeve is used to protect the spring-loaded control mechanism and to limit how far the pushrod may be moved.

Abstract: The microbial scrub brush in one embodiment employs an insert that is impregnated with an anti-bacterial disinfectant and that is housed within a housing of alcohol-compatible material and sealed over by a removable lid. The insert is maintained in sterile condition until ready for use. After removal of the lid, the insert is moved over the end of a female luer or other portion of a medical device and rotated in order to clean the exterior surface as well as the interior luminal surface of the device. In one embodiment, the insert includes a base from which extends an outer wall that defines a chamber. A plurality of complaint fingers extend from the base into the chamber. A plurality of wipers extend radially inward from the outer wall into the chamber to enable the cleansing of both the exterior surface and an interior surface of the medical device.

Abstract: Device for removing moisture from a woodwind instrument are disclosed. The woodwind cleaner is comprised of a semi-rigid inner wire, encased in absorbent material, then enclosed in a soft, absorbent outer covering. When not in use, the device can be coiled or wrapped around itself for easy storage, then easily returns to full length for use. The device can be used to clean the moisture from an instrument without disassembling it. The device is intended to be stored outside the case and to be easily portable.

Abstract: A storm water entry prevention apparatus for a sliding door system includes a base, a shield, a wedge, and an adapter. The base connects with the bottom side of the existing door frame from the outside while the shield connects to the base from the top end. The shield is angularly positioned with the existing sliding door so that the water can be easily flow away from the base. When the sliding door is opened or closed, the wedge gently pushes the shield away from the sliding door system. In order to accommodate the screen door, the adapter is connected with the base and the existing door frame.

Abstract: A cosmetic applicator has a base, a brush retained by the base and a cap positioned on the base in a closed configuration of the applicator to fully enclose the brush within the applicator. An antimicrobial device is retained within the cap and is configured for direct contact with the bristles of the brush in the closed configuration of the applicator.

Abstract: A hair brush cover for use in covering the bristles of a hair brush having bristles and a handle, the hair brush cover having a net component with a closed end and an open end. An elastic band is adapted around the open end. The open end of the net component is sized and configured to fit over the bristles of the hair brush while the elastic band retains the hair brush cover on the handle thereof. The hair brush cover thereby provides users with a quick and convenient manner in which to remove unwanted hair from within the bristles of a hair brush.

The bristle support and the bristles formed integrally therewith are produced in an injection moulding process. A plurality of injected bristles are arranged in each case such that they stand closely adjacent to one another in a bristle bundle. The bristle bundles on the other hand are arranged with a space between the bundles. The invention further relates to an injection mould that is particularly suited to producing household brushes or body care brushes comprising bristle bundles, the longitudinal directions of which run at an angle to one another or are out of square with one another.

The cleaning structure attaches to the chassis and acts as a cap covering the drive wheels and track. The cleaning structure includes a base and bristles extending outwardly therefrom. The bristles define fingers. In one embodiment, the fingers are of a uniform length. In another embodiment, the fingers are of a graduated length. The perimeter of aperture (20), part of tube (22), has a round contour (84) on the outside edge of tube brushing end (68). The tube length being predetermined for working efficiency. The rounded outside edge of tube brushing end (68) does not allow hair cutting. Other embodiments using aperture (20), contour (84), and tube (22) are described and shown.

The bristles of the automatic cleaning and hair-removing slant brush are fixed on a slanted angle to the fixed bristle surface. The bristles have an inclined angle with the fixed bristle surface, so that its strength when brushing pet hairs is re-enforced.

The unblocking roller includes a cylindrical core having a center axis and a plurality of clusters each comprising a plurality of bristles. Each of the plurality of bristles of each cluster is coupled to the core at a first end and projecting outward from the core. Each bristle projects a minimum of a first distance from the core. Each cluster is separated from adjacent clusters by at least a second distance that is at least 20% of the first distance.

Abstract: An implement for the cleaning of areas around the human eye, especially the upper and lower lids and the eye lashes, includes a reusable cleaning implement having at least one low absorbency pad of a soft looped material for cleaning areas adjacent the eye orb wherein the loops of the material capture and remove oils, debris, crusts and cosmetics such as eye liner and mascara. Once laid on a surface, the pad of the article is elevated away from the surface to prevent soiling. The looped material of the pad is cleanable with at least soap and water, and dries rapidly.

Abstract: A lipstick painting tool having a cover sleeve that is moveable between a proximal position exposing painting bristles and a distal position covering the painting bristles. The cover sleeve is moveable through relative rotation of the same along a base shaft such that engaged internal and external threads cause movement along a longitudinal axis. The paint bristles are part of a tip that is removable and replaceable. The tool may include an extension coupling for receiving an extension tool. A central paint tube may be included to supply paint directly to the bristles from a paint reservoir as by pump or similar means.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning golf clubs is provided. The apparatus includes a substantially symmetrical body having a first pocket opposite a second pocket for accepting fingers or a thumb of a user. The first and second pockets are flexibly coupled by a hinge portion and define a first opening for receiving a head of a golf club. A second opening is defined by the opening ends of the first and second pockets and is configured for receiving a hand of the user. The first and second pocket have opposing exterior walls which can be brought into contact with a golf club head to clean same. At least one of the opposing exterior walls will include an abrasive surface, e.g., bristles, for cleaning a surface of the golf club head. In other embodiments, both opposing exterior walls will include abrasive surfaces to facilitate cleaning of the golf club head.

Abstract: A hair brush that permits quick and easy removal of hair has a handle attached to a head. The head is made up of at least two frames that are mounted to the handle through cantilevers that permit movement of the frames relative to one another. The bristles are mounted to the frames, preferably in single rows. A force applied to one frame moves that frame relative to the other frame and the handle, thereby permitting the user to reach between the frames to remove any hair that is caught in the bristles. The brush allows a gap between the bristles to be enlarged, thereby making removal using human fingers much easier. Repeated movement and return of the frames to their resting position can cause the hair fibers to work away from the bristle bases and make removal much easier.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a debridement and/or implant cleaning tool (1) in which the means for cleaning (4) is made of a biodegradable material.
