Abstract: A system for cleaning includes a handle and a head having a cleaning surface. The head is connected to the handle and is extendable to selectively widen or narrow the cleaning surface. A gear is fixedly connected to the handle and rotatingly connected to the head, so that twist of the handle rotates the gear. A first series of extension gears operably connect to the gear, and a second series of extension gears also operably connect to the gear. Rotation of the gear via the handle, rotates the first series and the second series. A first head extension is operably connected to the first series, such that rotation of the first series swings the first head extension into laterally aligned extension of the head. A second head extension is operably connected to the second series, such that rotation of the second series swings the second head extension also into laterally aligned extension of the head.

Abstract: A tool for removing ice, snow and other debris from a vehicle or other surface has an extension handle with telescoping ends. On one end of the handle there is an oblong head carrying a broom on one surface and a squeegee on the opposite surface. The head is rotatably mounted on the handle to provide both a linear cleaning motion and an arcuate motion. On the other end of the handle is a bifurcated extension carrying a scraper and a toothed cutter.

Abstract: A bendable extension arm. A stiffening wire having a first end and a second end is connected at its first end to a wire receptor and at its second end to another wire receptor. A sheath covers the stiffening wire and prevents over bending of the stiffening wire. In a preferred embodiment, attachment devices are connected to the wire receptors. For example, in one embodiment a paint brush is connected to one of the wire receptors and an extension pole is connected to the other wire receptor. In another preferred embodiment, the bendable extension arm is used as a bendable handle. The user can grab the bendable handle at one end and attach an attachment device to the other end of the bendable handle. The bendable handle can be bent as desired by the user.

Abstract: A dental cleaning implement such as a toothbrush, having longitudinally disposed first and second parts flexibly joined together. Between the first and second parts is a rotatable member such that when the implement bends the first parts adjacent to the member bear upon the member. The rotatable member has circumferentially disposed relatively softer and harder regions, so that as the member is rotated the parts can be caused to bear compressibly upon selected softer or harder regions.

Abstract: The toothbrush can prevent harmful effects that the conventional toothbrushes frequently give and is composed of disintegratable or replaceable parts, so that a user can select an optimum toothbrush by combining suitable parts depending on the individual user's specificity. The toothbrush contains a head having bristles implanted therein, a neck having the head attached to the distal end thereof and a holder for holding the neck. The head is a single piece or is composed of a plurality of head segments. The holder is provided at the distal end thereof with an adjuster for adjusting the length of the neck protruding from the holder.

Abstract: This invention provides a handle for a tooth cleaning member convenient for use in which the angle of the tooth cleaning member can be easily adjusted for cleaning teeth only by controlling the force for grasping the grip part. The handle comprises a support portion made of an elastic material, and a pressed portion shorter than the support portion. When the pressed portion is pressed against the support portion, the support portion is transformed to increase its curvature.

Abstract: A toilet cleaning apparatus and caddy is provided which includes a tool which may be held in a user's hand. A swab, which is flushable down the toilet after the cleaning process is complete, is provided which is easily attached and detached from the tool. The tool is movable to a number of operative positions which assist in the loading, holding, or removal of the swab. A caddy is also provided which can hold the tool as well as unused swabs.

Abstract: A toothbrush includes a head having multiple cleaning elements. One group of the cleaning elements is mounted on a movable portion of the head and another group may be fixedly mounted on the head. The movable portion of the head is attached by a flexible membrane to the fixed portion of the head so that the membrane is capable of flexing to alter its original orientation during use of the toothbrush and then recover to the original orientation randomly during use.

Abstract: A multifunctional cleaning implement having a collapsible, telescoping handle interconnected to a head assembly. The head assembly includes front and back panels which interlock with or are integrally formed with cleaning implements, such as a squeegee, a brush, a sponge, and/or an ice scraper. The handle is pivotally interconnected by a sliding ball and socket joint to a channel in the head assembly so that it may be collapsed into a stored position within a cavity in the head assembly, or extended from the head assembly and pivoted into an open position perpendicular to the head assembly. A resilient member formed in the channel biases the ball joint to selectively maintain the handle in the open position.

Abstract: The invention relates to the wholesome toothbrush where the brush part can be spread out by partial improvement on the brush structure previously patented with Korea Utility Model Patent No. 2000-8396 by present inventor in order to facilitate brush washing and drying by spreading plies out after using the tooth brush in the ply status of shrunken and concentrated. In accordance with the invention, this wholesome toothbrush is featured providing the brush piece mounted on front-end of the brush part with protruded part slanted upward on the top surface and the first and second mounting grooves formed systematically for having the mounting protrusion snapped therein on inner front wall of the guide sphere.

Abstract: A toothbrush, having a handle and a resiliently flexible bristle-bearing head wherein, when the toothbrush is in its normal stress-free configuration, the free ends of bristles lying along a longitudinal and/or transverse axis of the brush form a generally concave profile adapted to suit the buccal surface of the teeth. The toothbrush head can flexibly conform to a convex profile to suit the labial surface of the teeth or to avoid damage to the gums.

Abstract: A means by which to adjust the angle of a handle. The device is comprised of two components. The body, made of a semi rigid material having a shape that is capable of being inserted into a typical paint brush ferrule. From this section, a “U” shaped component having a cylindrical cross section, and having a width of the attaching section. The handle of this design is composed of a suitable material having a varying thickness along its length. The handle having a section that partially encircles the “U” shaped component. The handle component has a hook at one end of one of the legs that receives the end of the other leg. This locks the handle in place on the “U” shaped component. When unlocked, the handle is capable of being moved along the length of the “U” shape to achieve the desired angle.

Abstract: A disposable toilet cleaning device is provided to clean the surfaces of a toilet which includes a handle and a telescoping arm which extends from the handle for cleaning a toilet. A cleaning head is secured to the free end of the telescoping arm and may include a cleaning chemical to effectuate cleaning of the toilet. The telescoping arm may include a flexible neck for positioning the brush head for cleaning the toilet. The components of the toilet brush may be made of a paper product and/or plastic material suitable for one use.

The upper portion of the head is joined to the handle such that the head is rotary. The handle (12,112) may be adapted to be held in a user's hand. The applicator (14,114) preferably comprises a roller assembly (32) capable of holding a paint roller. The arm (16) preferably comprises L-shaped segments (20,22) joined by an adjustable joint (24) in order to adjust the angle. Alternatively, the flexible arm (116) may bend along at least a portion of its length in order to adjust the angle.

Abstract: A multi-application art tool apparatus for use by paralytic or other physically challenged individuals. The art tool apparatus comprises a rod, at least one strap for attachment, and a plurality of art tools pivotally attached to the end of the rod with a nut and bolt assembly. The nut and bolt assembly allows for easy and multiple positioning of the art tool selected. Different art tools may be easily added or removed from the art tool apparatus.

The length of the handle sufficiently keeps users hands away from the chain during cleaning, and provides a means for the opposing cleaning element to clean generally inaccessible areas. The toolhead defines a chain passage recess having a plurality of inner sides. Each inner side has projecting retaining members to define a brush block cavity adapted to removably receive a brush block element such that a cleaning member formed thereon projects into the recess. Likewise, the opposing cleaning element has a pair of retaining members projecting therefrom to define a brush block cavity adapted to removably receive a brush block element.

The floor cleaning kit also includes an enclosed box-shaped container shaped to define an interior cavity into which the dustpan and broom, when they are disassembled, can be disposed, the container having a length of approximately 36.8 cm, a width of approximately 32.6 cm and a depth of approximately 10.9 cm. The rotating connection of the handle and head are limited by a pair of stops that also function as areas of force transfer from the handle to the head. The stops limit the relative movement of the head and handle between a first position and a second position. The head includes a set of bristles having a generally hemispherical shape. A loop is provided on the handle for hanging the rotating dish brush when it is not in use.

Abstract: In a first aspect of the invention an adjustable hairbrush includes an inner cylinder to which are affixed brush bristles and an outer cylinder through which the brush bristles extend. The inner and outer cylinders may be rotated about a common axis with respect to one another so as to adjust the length of the portion of the bristles protruding from the outer cylinder. A mechanism to limit rotation may be provided. In a second aspect of the invention, a pair of foundations held on a central rod disposed along an axis secure a number of connecting rods which, in turn, support portions of a cylinder oriented parallel to the axis. Bristles protrude from the cylinder portions. As the angle between the connecting rods and the central rod is adjusted, the cylinder portions move toward and away from the central rod so as to vary the diameter of the brush.

Abstract: An applicator principally for use in the dental profession, for the placement of different materials as may be required. The applicator includes an elongated handle having an applicating end portion formed at the opposed ends thereof which may be either of like or unlike construction, i.e. formed as a brush and/or a flocked applicating end portion. The flock may extend from the distal end a predetermined longitudinal distance over an extended portion. Intermediate the opposed applicating end portion, the elongated handle is provided with a circumscribing groove to define a frangible area by which the user, at his or her option, can cleanly sever the applicator handle to form two separate and distinct applicators. The applicator is also provided with a hinging arrangement adjacent the opposed applicating end portions whereby the applicating end portions may be angularly bent relative to the elongated handle at the option of the user.

Abstract: A two in one broom comprising a standard sweep broom with a detachable push broom to extend the capacity of the broom. To provide support for the combination a brace having incl9ined legs is used wherein the handle of the sweep broom is enclosed in an arc of the brace. The brace is connected to the head of the push broom with slotted flanges extending obliquely from the legs and fastened to the head. The handle of the broom can be adjusted for different angulations and a scale can be located on the sweep broom head for measuring the type of angulation desired.

A region between the bristle tuft carriers and the handle extension portion includes an elastomeric material configured to provide resilient flexing of the bristle tuft carriers with respect to the handle extension during tooth brushing, so that the bristles and the bristle tuft carriers move relative to the bristles on the handle extension portion.

The valve assembly made up of a valve body, a valve sleeve and a switch sleeve is sleeve joined to an outer tube of the telescopic tube. A pivot rod of the retaining sleeve is led through a pivot hole of the rotary connector and fixedly located at a water inlet hole of the valve body thereof via ultrasonic wave or fastening agents.

The cleaning body includes an elongated plate, a glass scraper, and a brush. The valve assembly sleeve joined to an outer tube of the telescopic tube is mainly made up of a valve body, a valve sleeve and a switch sleeve. The valve sleeve adapted to a transverse retaining hole of the valve body has a sealing ring abutting against a projecting flange of the valve body to seal up the discharge of water, and two arc ends located onto an eccentric arc facet of the switch sleeve via a guide slope for regulating the water discharge. The switch sleeve is rotated to one side to dislocate the sealing ring thereof from the projecting flange thereof via the eccentric arc facet pushing both arc ends thereof to reveal a gap there-between for the discharge of water.
