  • Patent number: 11109667
Abstract: A cleaning brush is provided. A cleaning unit comprises cleaning beans fixed on a surface of the carrier in a bi-spiral arrangement. The cleaning beans are arranged in an unequally-spaced manner on center of the carrier along a baseline; and, thus, bi-spirals are formed on the center and coiled in two different outward directions. Two annular spiral curve paths are formed with the cleaning beans as coiling the carrier and extending along the two directions. When the carrier cleans an electronic device, a solution or cleaning agent is discharged along the curve paths in spiral tangential directions. Hence, the bi-spiral cleaning unit obtains positive and negative directions on rotating to create a plurality of flow fields. Dirt is discharged easily with water distribution enhanced as compared to unidirectional spiral cleaning devices while a large contact surface, a good cleaning efficiency, and a high decontamination ratio are achieved.

Abstract: A brush-like grinding stone (3) in a polishing brush (1) includes a brush holder (6) and a linear member aggregate (7) detachably held in the brush holder (6). The linear member aggregate (7) includes a large number of bundles (51) of the linear members (50) obtained by hardening aggregated yarn of inorganic filaments impregnated with a resin, and a brush holder (70) holding ends of the bundles (51). A linear member holder (70) in the linear member aggregate (7) is detachably attached to each of a plurality of holding holes (68) that is open in one side in an axial line direction L. In a case where any of the linear member aggregates has a failure, such as breakage, only the failed linear member aggregate needs to be replaced. Thus, it is not necessary to discard the entire brush-like grinding stone. Consequently, the polishing cost can be reduced.

Abstract: A rotary push broom provides a geometry between the centerline of the broom's wheels and the centerline of the broom's cylindrical brush that allows the vertical height of the cylindrical brush relative to that of the wheels to be adjusted as the frame rotates. The broom includes a support stand that allows the broom to be stored in a way that does not put the broom's weight on the brush. The broom also includes a ratchet gear system so that the broom rotates along with the wheels when the broom is operated in a forward sweeping direction and spins independent of the wheels when the broom is operated in a rearward direction. The gear system should be arranged so that the cylindrical brush rotates slower than the wheels in the sweeping direction. The support stand can be integrated with an endplate that accommodates the wheel connection and ratchet gear system.
