The charge (22) is formed within a mold (50) of the component to form a multi-contoured laminate (58). The protective cover (24) is separated from the multi-contoured laminate (58). A method of forming a down stream part structure or mold (167) for a component includes assembling multiple layers to form a charge (78). The charge (78) is formed within an original mold of the component to form a multi-contoured laminate (76). A splash is separated from the multi-contoured laminate (76). A protective cover, such as the cover (24), is for a vehicle component and includes a contour holding layer (36) and a protective laminate layer (34). The contour holding layer (36) and the protective laminate layer (34) are formed within a mold of the vehicle component to form the protective cover.

Abstract: An adhesive cord cover for enveloping a cord, such as an electrical cord or chandelier chain. The adhesive cord cover is formed from a lengthwise strip of fabric. A pressure sensitive adhesive is attached to the fabric strip, preferably along a first lengthwise edge. The pressure sensitive adhesive is positioned and configured to allow a fastening side of the pressure sensitive adhesive to be selectively adhered to the lengthwise strip of fabric to thereby form a tubular configuration for enveloping a cord. The pressure sensitive adhesive is preferably an adhesive transfer tape. The transfer tape preferably has a removable liner on the fastening side. The removable liner assists in preserving the adhesive properties of the pressure sensitive adhesive prior to use. The pressure sensitive adhesive transfer tape is preferably a continuous strip that extends substantially along the entire length of the piece of fabric.

Abstract: In one example, we have a rubber skin that fits a range of battery grips. It has a number of cut-outs that allow the material to stretch and accommodate different cameras (or sizes/models), and also, access the different camera control locations, knobs, or buttons. This can apply to video recorders or any electronic devices, in general. This provides protection for device, for impact, scratch, or water, for example. In addition, it provides easy access or change of battery. Thus, convenience, adjustability, and protection are provided at the same time. Many other variations and extensions are also discussed in the specification and figures. In addition, the skin can be solid/rigid or soft. Furthermore, using a band or Velcro, with multiple pieces or attached pieces, one can easily adjust the sizes for different cameras or models.

Abstract: This application relates to the improvement to the current state-of-the-art for weatherproofing a camera or video recorder (or a cell phone having those functionalities). That allows an avid photographer to take their camera out into the rain and use all the controls through the skin, without the camera getting wet. (It is not submersion-proof, but for all practical purposes, it is waterproof) It features plug-in covers for gaps, plus any or all of the below: Double layer (with ultra thin layer on inside and/or also outside), Zip Lock features around the holes, Hot shoe drape over top of camera, or Finger Condom. Many other variations and extensions are also discussed in the specification and figures.

Abstract: The Abdomicycle is a three or four-wheeled vehicle, (depending upon vehicle model) on which a rider sits upon a seat, leans back against a backrest which is provided for comfort and safety purposes and propels the vehicle either forward or reverse by a reciprocating motion on a bar that encloses them as they sit on the Abdomicycle. The bar is connected to either the single or dual rear wheels via a crank type mechanism that allows the linear pushing/pulling of the bar from front to back to be converted into a circular motion for the purpose of driving the rear wheel or wheels. The occupant's feet rest upon a forward steering linkage system that allows either foot pressure, or the leaning position of the occupant's body to turn the vehicle to the right or left. The vehicle includes a braking system connected by cable to the wheel(s) for the purpose of stopping the vehicle. The Abdomicycle is designed as a manually powered vehicle for exercises.

Abstract: A protective jacket for covering an electrical device is provided. The protective jacket includes a first shell and a second shell. The first shell includes a front cover, a rear cover, and an elastic strip. The front and the rear covers are formed apart from each other and have an individual hollow for receiving the insertion of the device. The elastic strip is formed between these covers. A space is defined on the first shell by theses covers, and the elastic strip together. The second shell is configured to be disposed within the space of the first shell, and has a slot for receiving the insertion of the device. Therefore, the protective jacket conforms to the shape of the device and is capable of covering the device compactly for preventing damages due to collision and avoiding dust and mist pollution so as to increase the life of the device substantially.
