  • Patent number: 9475342
Abstract: A wheel hub includes a support ring (1). The support ring(1) includes an integrally formed inner wheel rim (11), a large span dual bearing support frame (12), and a rotor protection frame support groove (13). A lateral end of the support ring (1) is detachably provided with a tire quick replacing ring (2). The inner wheel rim (11) is provided with a first tire sealing face (101). The tire quick replacing ring (2) is provided with a second tire sealing face (201). A wheel hub motor wheel uses the above mentioned wheel hub. An electric vehicle uses the wheel hub motor wheel. Through the above wheel hub motor wheel and the electric vehicle, rapid replacement of a tire or rapid removal of the tire from the wheel hub for maintenance can be implemented without removing the wheel hub of the wheel from a vehicle body; this allows the replacement or maintenance of the tire to be time-saving, effort-saving, and greatly convenient.

  • Patent number: 5765928
Abstract: A method of constructing an in-line skate wheel provides a hub assembly that is entirely reusable after a perimeter tire section is worn and disposed of. This wheel assembly creates an entrapment of component forms within this tire section that is locked together when hub halves are fasteners together as a hub assembly. These individual wheel components require the minimum of materials necessary to perform their tasks thereby reducing wheel weight. The preferred embodiment of these leaner components further promotes the efficient consumption of the tire profile during skating which reduces the cost of servicing worn wheels through the replacement of only these leaner tire sections.

  • Patent number: 5733015
Abstract: A wheel, preferably adaptable for use with a skate, is provided having a semi-permanent stiffness-modulating insert. The wheel comprises a toroidal wheel component having a hollow toroidal core which can be filled with a stiffness-modulating material. The wheel is split along a line from the inner circumference of the toroidal wheel component to the inner circumference of the core so as to allow for insertion of the stiffness-modulating material. The toroidal wheel component is preferably molded with the split edges slightly spaced apart from each other. In use the edges are held together in abutment with each other or with a toroidal spacer placed between them, preferably by wheel hubs engaging with each other and with the toroidal wheel component of the wheel.

  • Patent number: 4226273
Abstract: A nonpneumatic tire with generally cylindrical inner and outer members connected by radial wall members mounted on a split rim with tire-retaining flanges and a generally cylindrical tire-supporting surface. The diameter of at least some portions of the rim tire-supporting surface is greater than the diameter of adjacent portions of the inner member of the tire for nonrotatable engagement of the tire by the rim in the mounted condition. The tire may include a layer of compressible material spaced radially inward from a reinforcing ply embedded in the inner member. The tire and rim may also have transversely extending, circumferentially spaced-apart ribs and grooves in meshing engagement to prevent rotation of the tire relative to the rim.

  • Patent number: 4121639
Abstract: A tire and wheel construction for vehicles such as automobiles, trucks, farm equipment, etc., which includes a wheel comprised of inner and outer disc portions, bolted together in their central portions, a rim portion formed in two annular, opposed half sections from the respective disc portions, and an outwardly turned flange from the outer periphery of each rim half section. The tire comprises an inner annular wall, including opposed, annular edge projections, configurated for clamped engagement between the rim flanges, an outer annular tread wall and opposed side walls, integrally connecting between the inner and tread walls to define a completely enclosed annular chamber.
