Patent number: 7744716Abstract: A method for making a water-proof laminate from wood, includes a lower mold. A lower cover is provided in the lower mold. A wood plate is provided on the lower cover in the lower mold. An upper cover is provided on the wood plate. An upper mold is provided for pressing the lower cover, the wood plate and lower cover against the lower mold. A coating is injected into the upper and lower molds to cover at least the edges of the upper mold, wood plate and lower mold so that a water-proof laminate is finished after the curing of the coating. The upper mold is moved from the lower mold, and the water-proof laminate is moved from the lower mold.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 2007Date of Patent: June 29, 2010Inventor: Shu-Hui Chang

Publication number: 20100089946Abstract: A device comprises a first portion including a first polymer, and a second portion that is relatively flexible in comparison to the first portion and includes a second polymer that is substantially not bondable to the first polymer. A chamber of the device is hermetically sealable with respect to ambient atmosphere and is defined by (i) an interior of the second portion, and/or (ii) a space formed between the first and second portions. A third portion of the device includes a third polymer that is bondable to the first and second polymers and fixedly secures the first and second portions to each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2009Publication date: April 15, 2010Inventor: Daniel Py

Patent number: 7648608Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a multilayer coextrudate, comprising a plastic layer that has release properties vis-vis adhesives, the release-property producing materials being disposed in the plastic layer. When the coextrudate is produced, a first web(support web I) is provided on the one side of which an adhesive layer is disposed, followed by the plastic layer having the release properties, which in turn is linked with a second web (support web II). The release layer does not show substantial migration with respect to the adhesive and the release effect does not substantially change afterwards, especially during storage.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2001Date of Patent: January 19, 2010Assignee: Huhtamaki Forchheim Zweigniederlassung der Huhtamaki Deutschland GmbH & Co.
