Patent number: 9844747Abstract: A filter core has a wavy filtering sheet and a flat filtering sheet. The filtering sheets are for filtering suspended pollutants and respectively have multiple corrugations axially arranged apart from each other. Therefore, channels formed between the filtering sheets also have corrugations formed on inner walls of the channels after the filtering sheets are adhered. The corrugations on the inner walls of the channels are also axially arranged apart from each other and form concave and convex portions. As a result, when fluid, such as air, axially moves in the channels, the suspended pollutants on the fluid may hit, gather and accumulate on the corrugations, thereby slowing the fluid flow and providing one more filtering process. In addition, the corrugations on the filtering sheets also increase a filtering area. To sum up, the filter core can enhance the filtering effect.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2015Date of Patent: December 19, 2017Assignee: Pro-Pure Inc.Inventor: Hsiang-Chi Lin

Patent number: 4644896Abstract: A lower roll apparatus for a single facer includes a nozzle-equipped scraper constituted by a scraper and a nozzle which are integrated with each other. The nozzle-equipped scraper is inerted into a circumferential groove formed on a lower roll and is disposed at the position closest to a suction bore formed in the lower roll. The apparatus is further provided with a steam or compressed air source for supplying the nozzle with steam or compressed air. The nozzle-equipped scraper is arranged such as to be pivotal so that the nozzle is separated from the circumferential groove.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 1985Date of Patent: February 24, 1987Assignee: Mitsubishi Jukogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tadashi Hirakawa, Hiroaki Sasashige, Haruo Okawa

Patent number: 4584052Abstract: A single facer machine of the vacuum or fingerless type for making a corrugated paperboard laminate. A new means for applying vacuum to the paperboard on the second corrugator roll. The second corrugator roll is provided with axially spaced circumferential grooves, the grooves being deeper than the flutes on the roll. Each groove is provided with a vacuum finger, coupled to a source of vacuum, each vacuum finger being curved at its intake mouth which sealingly engages the sides of its respective groove to supply vacuum thereto. The angular extent of the curved intake mouth is supplementary to the angular extent of engagement of the corrugated paperboard with the second corrugator roll.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 1982Date of Patent: April 22, 1986Inventor: Theodore M. Patent number: 4447285Abstract: The invention is related to the technical field of cardboard-making machines, and in particular it concerns a device for holding paper close against a corrugating roller in a corrugated board-making machine. The technical problem to be solved is that of providing such a device, which, while being simple and applicable to virtually all of the corrugated board-making machines, can attain an efficiency level affording a significant increase of the machine production rate and quality. The problem has been solved by providing a device which comprises suction members having a number of flattened suction ports to fit at least in part in the indentations of a corrugating roller and being rigid with holders carried slidably on bars which extend parallel to the corrugating roller, said holders being guided along said bars by locating elements made rigid with the holders and inserted into said indentations in substantially direct contact relationship with the corrugating roller.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 1983Date of Patent: May 8, 1984Assignee: Vitino Massenzana s.r.l.Inventors: Riccardo Lussana, Fabrizio Massenzana
