Abstract: A tool includes a handle, a controller and a bit. The handle includes a socket defining an axial non-circular space and a radial space in communication with the axial space. The controller includes a space defined therein and a ridge formed on the wall of the space thereof. The controller is movable in the radial space of socket between a locking position and a releasing position. The bit includes a working tip and a shank defining at least one recess for receiving the ridge when the shank is inserted into the space of the controller through the axial space of the socket, thus locking the bit to the handle.

Abstract: A handle for an implement for cleaning a surface, such as a floor, includes an elongated pole, an end cap and a hang cap. The elongated pole has a top end and a bottom end. The bottom end of the elongated pole is adapted to be coupled to a cleaning head on the implement. The end cap is fixedly mounted over the top end of the pole and the hang cap is movably mounted over the end cap. The end cap and hang cap are constructed so that when the hang cap is mounted in place on the end cap, the hang cap can rotate relative to the end cap but cannot move up or down relative to the end cap. This construction includes a pair of lateral grooves on the outer surface of the end cap and a pair of lateral ribs on the inner surface of the hang cap which are in registration with the lateral grooves on the end cap when the hang cap is mounted over the end cap. The hang cap has a hole for removably mounting the implement on a hook attached to a wall.

The holder includes a resilient member having first and second jaws extending generally parallel from one end of a base. Each of the jaws has an inner wall and an outer wall and which define at least an outer engagement slot and an inner engagement slot between their respective inner walls. The jaws also define an open end distal to the base and a closed end proximal or at the base. The outer engagement slot being arranged transversely to an axial direction of the first and second jaws proximal to an open end portion of the jaws opposite to the base. The inner slot is proximal to a closed end portion of the jaws proximal to the base. Typically, the entire apparatus can include a single or unitary piece of plastic or a single substance.

A metal impact cap is fixed secured in the handle proximate end.

Abstract: The tool handle of the invention includes a shank connected via a ratcheting mechanism to a male square drive. A pair of handle wings are pivotally connected to the shank at a transverse pivot hinge such that the handle wings can be changed between a screwdriver-type configuration, an L-shape configuration, a T-shape configuration or other intermediate configurations. When the handle wings are in the fully open position, the handle wings bear against the shank to create a mechanism for transferring power between the handle wings and the tool shank without the need for a separate lock. A quick change adapter having a female drive can be connected to the male square drive such that the tool handle can be used with a wide variety of tools including taps and extractors, sockets, screwdriver bits and the like.

The proximal segment extends from a free end of the handle section to the center point and the distal segment extends from the center point to the head section. Ideally, polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate foam is injected into a tap handle shell in liquid form, which solidifies and is capped with a glue, an internally threaded cap, and a protective plastic cap.

The elastic reinforcement member is interposed between an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder member and the first fitting end portion, and presses the first fitting end portion toward the second fitting end portion.

A ring cover is externally placed onto the mounting disc. Upon the hook engaging the apertures, the bar can be rotated at a safe distance from the truck bed in order to rapidly, safely and securely rewind the strap onto the winch reel.

A method for manufacturing hand guards is disclosed. Using that method, one or more bends are cut in the X-Y plane and a bender is used to form at least one bend in the Z-axis.

According to the present invention, a bar holder 41 of a door handle 40 includes a fixing portion 42 fixed to a front surface of a refrigerator door 30 and a coupling portion 44 coupled to an upper or lower end of a handle bar 47. Fitting grooves 44a are formed in both sides of the coupling portion 44, whereas fitting ribs 47a, which are fitted into the fitting grooves 44a downward or upward, are provided on both sides of the upper or lower end of the handle bar 47. At this time, the upper and lower ends of the handle bar 47 are supported by the upper and lower coupling portions 44, respectively. According to the present invention so configured, the number of parts of the door handle can be decreased, the assembly of the door handle can be simplified, and an error occurring in the manufacturing process can be corrected.

Abstract: The stabilizer apparatus for a power head attachment for rotationally powered tools in which a housing supports a stabilizer apparatus including a stabilizer collar rotatable to selected positions relative to the input shaft of the head attachment and a stabilizer arm pivotally mounted on the collar for movement to selected angular positions relative to the axis of the input shaft between a plurality of locked positions and a single unlocked position. In the unlocked position of the arm, the collar can be rotated to various circumferential positions and in each one of the positions the stabilizer arm can be located at a selected one of multiple angular positions which also lock the arm and collar in a fixed position making possible many combinations of positions of the stabilizer arm relative to the power head of the tool.

Abstract: A grab handle and bezel assembly includes a bezel and a grab handle capable of being received within the bezel. The grab handle is generally non-circular in cross section for properly locating the grab handle within the bezel and for preventing rotation of the grab handle. For example, the grab handle can be D-shaped in cross section having an arcuate surface portion defining a Class “A” surface that is visible to an occupant, and a flat surface portion defining a Class “B” surface that is not visible to the occupant. In this manner, an amount of Class “A” surface treatment of the grab handle can be minimized, thereby reducing the cost of the grab handle and bezel assembly. The grab handle and bezel assembly can securely mounted to a trim component, such as a door bolster, by disposing opposite ends of the grab handle between opposing walls of the bezel and passing a fastener through the door bolster, the bezel and the grab handle.

Abstract: The present invention is an ingenuously designed multiple self locking hinge assembly that is simple to manufacture and can come in a variety of shapes and sizes given the application requirements. It has few parts making it cost effect and simple to use. The hinge assembly can easily be opened and closed with a single hand while at the same time creating a strong hinge connection. The invention can be used in a number of applications, including use with multiple poled devices for many common applications such as crutches, walkers, golf bag and baby carriages to name a few. The invention can also be used in conjunction with devices that require a collapsible frame. The invention also provides lateral strength and stability to a multiple poled device.

The inner grip handle is preferably pivotal between a storage and use position and is slidably connected to the leg. The leg of the tool handle preferably telescopes and comprises a pair of parallel extending legs connected together by cross-members.

The lower shell has a holding portion at its topside formed integral with a fixing base combined with the upper fixing base. The holding portion and the lower front cover are respectively formed with an accommodating groove matching with each other and having plural positioning ribs provided inside for placing articles needed for packing work of adhesive tape. An over molding overlies a lengthwise of the cylindrical liner. The first and second axial lines are radially offset and the first set of elongate slots overlaps the second set of elongate slots. A first elongate slot may intercept a first end of the cylindrical liner. A compression member is provided in operative association with a circumference of an axial segment of the cylindrical liner.
