At least one actuating projection of the plunger engages into the actuating groove when the plunger is introduced into the actuating sleeve causing the plunger to rotate about its longitudinal axis during an axial relative movement between the actuating sleeve and the plunger. A blocking device blocks plunger movement into the discharge position to hold the plunger in a locked position. A spring element preloads the blocking device into a blocking position, and an actuator disengages the blocking device from the blocking position.

    Abstract: The invention described herein is a wedge doorstop having a pair of adjacent sidewalls that respectively abut an edge of a door and a doorframe in a preferred orientation. Additionally, another sidewall of the stop abuts the frame stop of the doorframe and a compressible material along each one of the sidewalls protects the frame and increases friction. In operation, the door is opened and the doorstop is inserted into the gap between the frame and the door, and when the door begins to swing towards the frame, the wedge is sandwiched between the edge of the door and the frame. Additionally the compressive material prevents the doorstop from damaging the door or frame. Alternatively, the wedge can be inserted between the ground and bottom edge of the door.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing a self-activating stop device at the back of a hauling trailer for a boat. The apparatus is a compact, lightweight and durable U-shaped housing having a retractable stop element pivotably positioned therein. Through-holes in the housing permit the apparatus to be quickly and easily secured to bunkers or other framing at the trailer back end. The U-shaped housing's top surface can be easily aligned with the top surface of the bunk or framing while the stop element is biased in an upright position. When the boat is lifted out of the water and slid onto the bunker or framing, the boat's presence pivots the stop element down into the housing and once the transom of the boat passes over the stop element, the stop element self-activates, pivoting upward acting as a stop against the transom, thereby preventing the boat from sliding back off of the trailer.

    Abstract: A device for protecting the fingers of a person from getting impinged in between the door and the doorframe during closing of the door by an operator is provided. The device includes a gripping body configured to wrap around the shank of the doorknob, a bumper body attached to the gripping body configured to prevent the closing of the door, a hollow unit positioned between the bumper body and the gripping body, and one or more connecting body to pass through the hollow unit to connect the gripping body with the shank of the doorknob. When the door is opened, the bumper body is positioned between the door and the door frame. In order to close the door, the operator rotates the doorknob normally, which moves the bumper body, away from the leading edge of the door. The process makes an operator cautious while closing the door and thus effectively protects fingers and hands of the person from injuries that may result from a slamming door.

    Abstract: A door anti-slamming device, wherein the device includes a chamber with an entrance located at a first end; wherein the chamber houses a plunger component with a tip configured to slidably move in and out of the entrance, therefore defining a compacted configuration and an extended configuration of the device, respectively; wherein the device includes an biasing means configured to bias the device towards the extended configuration; wherein the device includes a first cavity and a second cavity located within the chamber and/or plunger component, and wherein a partition is located between the first and second cavity characterised in that the partition includes an orifice configured to control material transfer rate between the first cavity and second cavity, wherein the device is configured to transition to the compacted configuration at a rate controlled by the material transfer from the first cavity into the second cavity.
