Abstract: This invention relates generally to a window blind protector, and more specifically, to a device that is positionable on or in a window frame to stop or divert a window blind away from a window sill for allowing access to the window sill. In one embodiment, a device includes, but is not limited to, a first panel that is positionable on a first side of a window sill and that includes a first guide portion; a second panel that is positionable on a second side of the window sill and that includes a second guide portion; and a first cross-member that is configured to extend between the first panel and the second panel to brace the first and second panels against opposing walls of the window frame, wherein the first and second guide portions are configured to divert a window blind away from the window sill when the window blind is lowered.
Abstract: A modular awning assembly incorporating a flexible sheet; a shade frame fitted for supporting the flexible sheet, the shade frame having left and right arms and having a cross beam spanning between the left and right arms; sheet fasteners interconnecting the flexible sheet and the shade frame; left and right vertical support columns; shade attaching joints pivotally connecting the shade frame's left and right arms to the left and right vertical support columns; and column mounting brackets operatively connected to the left and right vertical support columns, the column mounting brackets being adapted for moveably attaching the left and right vertical support columns to a structure selected from the group consisting of vehicles, recreational vehicle side walls, vehicle hitches, boats, boat deck rails, building side walls, and fences.
Abstract: A method can include providing an underground vault; providing a lift mechanism; providing a crop protection system that includes a housing that houses a vertically oriented roll of material; and positioning the crop protection system in the underground vault where the lift mechanism provides for vertically adjusting the crop protection system with respect to the underground vault to raise the vertically oriented roll of material above ground. Various other apparatuses, systems, methods, etc., are also disclosed.
Abstract: The primary roller of an awning assembly has an internal cavity, an opening between the internal cavity and the exterior of the primary roller and a first arresting element. A first awning material is adapted to be unwound from the primary roller when the primary roller rotates in a first direction and wound onto the primary roller when the primary roller rotates in a second direction. A secondary roller is mounted for rotation within the internal cavity of the primary roller. One end of a second awning material attached to the secondary roller extends through the opening in the primary roller. A second arresting element is attached to the one end of the second awning material and is adapted to engage the first arresting element of the primary roller, whereby rotation of the secondary roller in the second direction causes the primary roller to rotate in the second direction together with the secondary roller.
