Abstract: An earpiece/wire organizer houses and maintains wires in an untangled manner. The earpiece/wire organizer has a sleeve constructed with mating spine pieces having an interlocking self-adhering surface coat thereon, wherein the sleeve house wires therein to prevent or mitigate entanglement during storage and carrying. Simply scrunching or compressing the sleeve with a single hand motion engages the interlocking self-adhering surface of the mating spine pieces in an attached configuration and compresses the sleeve and wire housed therein. When the user desires to lengthen or elongate the wire, the user simply pulls or elongates the sleeve with a single hand motion that disengages the interlocking self-adhering surface of the mating spine pieces and lengthens the sleeve and wire housed therein. Where more than one sleeve is provided, the sleeves are further constructed to releasably connect to one another.

  • Patent number: 7622682
Abstract: The present invention provides a system of manually linked fastening clips for electrical cables. The manually linked clips are preferably linked to one another by way of a tongue-and-groove joint. Since the clips of the present invention are manually linkable via the tongue-and-groove joint, an installer may manually link electrical cable fasteners into numbered groupings of the installer's own choosing. The tongue-and-groove joint of the clips permits the installer to easily separate linked clips from one another by simply rotating one linked clip with respect to the other. This rotating action quickly and effortlessly disengages the tongue portion of one linked fastener from the corresponding groove portion of the other linked fastener, thereby facilitating the installation of electrical cable. The manually linked clips may be inserted into a clip dispensing sleeve to provide the installer with a continuous feed of cable fastening clips during installation.

Abstract: An electrical junction box can be used as both a watertight type and a nonwatertight type by improving a fitting structure between a cover and a casing and restricting the cover and casing from rattling even in the nonwatertight configuration in which a rubber packing is not mounted on the box. An electrical junction box that can be used as a watertight type and a nonwatertight type includes a casing and a cover. Terminals connected to ends of electrical wires may be contained in the casing. The electrical wires may be drawn out from a bottom of the casing. An electrical element may be detachably connected to the casing through an upper opening in the casing to be coupled to the terminals. The cover is joined to the casing. A pair of clearance-filling ribs, which have recessed configuration in section, project from one side of a peripheral wall of the cover toward the casing. The casing is provided on an outer surface with fitting ribs adapted to engage the clearance-filling ribs.

  • Patent number: 7537477
Abstract: The present invention includes a power cable tension control device having at one end an adapter capable of insertion into a computer port and at the opposing end a cable retaining structure for retaining a power cable, such as an AC power cable. The adapter does not electrically communicate with the retained power cable and therefore does not act as a conduit through which the power cable electrically communicates with the computer. The computer cable communicates with the computer using a port away from the adapter. Thus, the present invention provides a device that further anchors the power cable to the computer thereby reducing strain on the plug region of the power cable or the computer port, which prolongs the life of the power cable or computer port.
