  • Patent number: 11297716
Abstract: A device includes a flexible printed circuit board (PCB) that includes a first battery connection, a second battery connection, and a mechanical coupling apparatus. The first battery connection is for providing a first electrical connection to a first terminal of a battery. The second battery connection is for providing a second electrical connection to a second terminal of the battery. When the flexible PCB is in a first flex position, the first and second battery connections are at a distance where at least one of the first battery connection and the second battery connection is not electrically coupled to the respective one of the first and second terminals of the battery. When the flexible PCB is in a second flex position, the battery is electrically coupled to the first and second battery terminals and is mechanically held in place by the mechanical coupling apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9983321
Abstract: The invention discloses a safety inspection detector and a goods safety inspection system. The safety inspection detector at least comprises a circuit board, a first housing, a second housing, a detection module and a connecting interface. The detection module and the connecting interface are mounted on the circuit board. The first housing is pressed and connected to a first surface of the circuit board, and the second housing is pressed and connected to a second surface of the circuit board. The first housing and the second housing can hermetically wrap the detection module and electronic devices on the circuit board, but bypass the connecting interface to realize leading-out and connection with related interconnected cables by utilizing the connecting interface. The housings can be used for sealing and protecting sensitive electronic devices in the detector, thus being moisture proof and preventing interference.

  • Publication number: 20130014987
Abstract: An electrical component has a protective housing. Two connection surfaces for the electrical connection of connecting cables are provided on the component. The connecting cables are provided with a flexible plastic sheath and connected electrically at their first ends to the connection surfaces. The connecting cables protrude with their second ends through a cable bushing out of the protective housing. An additional sheathing is arranged on the plastic sheath of the connecting cables over a first length and is materially connected to the plastic sheath by a firm bond. The cable bushing is manufactured from plastic and is materially connected by a firm bond to the additional sheathing over a second length.

  • Patent number: 7370988
Abstract: A hydrological barrier plate for in-grade light fixture housings and a housing for use with light fixtures to prevent water entry into the water sensitive compartments of the light fixture. The barrier plate has a plate body with an opening in which is sealably disposed an anti-syphon wire pass-through valve for electrically connecting the components on one side of the barrier plate with the wires in the junction box on the opposite side of the barrier plate. The barrier plate is sealed around its outer edge against the housing wall. The pass-through valve is configured to prevent water from wicking along the wires and to prevent water from passing around the valve. The barrier plate is installed without tools and an effective seal is easily obtained. Using the barrier plate, water is prevented from migrating between the junction box and the primary housing compartments of the housing.
