Speaker Type Patents (Class 181/199)
  • Patent number: 8917875
Abstract: A circuit for operating loudspeakers includes a first, second, third and fourth loudspeaker circuit, having one input each for injecting a signal and one output each for connecting a loudspeaker input. The loudspeaker circuits are designed to amplify the injected signal and to provide the amplified signal at the outputs thereof. The loudspeaker circuits can, for example, be used for a 2.1 sound system. The three channels for a 2.1 sound system can be implemented by an amplifier circuit with four loudspeaker circuits, one loudspeaker circuit each being required for the two stereo channels left and right. A subwoofer channel can be driven differentially by two loudspeaker circuits. The stereo channels are, by contrast, only still connected to one loudspeaker circuit each, and so the stereo channels require at least one further common ground cable.

  • Patent number: 8634586
Abstract: A ceiling-mounted loudspeaker includes a horn-shaped enclosure, an acoustic driver, and a front module. The tubular or horn-shaped enclosure carries a slanted woofer or loudspeaker driver which radiates into an angled or slanted first opening. The tubular enclosure terminates at bottom in a second, circular opening substantially parallel to a second plane, wherein the woofer's slanted plane is inclined with respect to the second plane. The slanted woofer can be oval and radiates sound through the enclosure's interior lumen and outwardly through ports defined in a substantially circular baffle carrying the front module and connected to the second opening. The baffle carries a midrange and tweeter near the ceiling where they can provide enhanced sound dispersion.

Abstract: A mounting ring with which an engaging hook of a fall-preventing member is to be engaged and a flexible handle member are fixed within an area of a cabinet section that is located upward of a first plane passing through the position of a center of gravity of the cabinet section generally in parallel to the bottom surface of the cabinet section and located to one side of a second plane passing through the position of the center of gravity in intersecting relation to the first plane. The speaker unit hung by the handle member being held with a hand of a human operator is inclined, so that the mounting ring is oriented upward near the hand. Thus, the human operator can perform with ease an operation for engaging the engaging hook with the mounting ring with one hand while holding the handle member with the other hand.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a speaker cabinet for electronic device, which is disposed in an electronic device and comprises a cabinet body, two first fixing structures, two dampers, and two second fixing structures. The damper is disposed on two side surfaces of the cabinet body through the two first fixing structures and fixed on the electronic device through the two second fixing structures for fixing the cabinet body in the electronic device. The cabinet speaker according to the present disclosure adopts only two fixing structures to fix the cabinet body to the electronic device. The damper is also used for mitigating the vibrations generated by the cabinet body. In addition, the two fixing structures are used for supporting the damper for avoiding inclination of the cabinet body towards an unpredictable direction and colliding the housing of the electronic device and its internal components.
