The one-way clutch is attached to the spool shaft. The operating lever has a flat shape, is attached to the reel body, and extends in a radial direction. The operating lever is configured to adjust a braking force that brakes the rotation of the outer ring.

The first bearing is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of a first support part of the pinion gear. The second bearing is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of a second support part of the pinion gear. The clearance adjusting part is configured to partially reduce a clearance between an inner peripheral surface of a through hole and the outer peripheral surface of the spool shaft at the clearance adjusting part in an on-state of the clutch mechanism.

The piston is inserted into an inner circumference of the cylinder liner. The sleeve has a sleeve rib, a sleeve skirt, and a pin. The sleeve rib covers at least part of an open end of the cylinder. The sleeve skirt covers at least part of a circumferential surface of the open end. The pin projects from the sleeve skirt towards the circumferential surface to engage with the groove. The cylinder liner has a rib that projects radially outward from a circumference of the cylinder liner. The sleeve rib holds the rib on the open end in the case that the pin engages with the groove.
