Fluid Escape From Piston Chamber By Rotation-induced Pressure Patents (Class 192/85.28)
  • Patent number: 12049927
Abstract: A gear assembly (8) for mounting on a shaft (12) is described. The gear assembly (8) comprises: a gear wheel (80) configured to be rotationally supported with respect to the shaft (12) and a multiple-plate wet clutch (10). The wet clutch (10) comprises: a front part (34), a back part (42), a clutch basket attached to the gear wheel (80), and a clutch pack (20) connecting the clutch hub (16) and the clutch basket (18) and positioned between the front part (34) and the back part (42). The clutch pack (20) has: an unengaged state in which the clutch hub (16) and the clutch basket (18) are unlocked, and an engaged state in which the clutch hub (16) and the clutch basket (18) are locked together, wherein the back part (42) is spaced apart from the gear wheel (80) in the unengaged state, and the back part (42) engages the gear wheel (80) in the engaged state.

  • Patent number: 11628716
Abstract: A hybrid drive system for a motor vehicle includes an input shaft, which introduces torques from an internal combustion engine into the hybrid drive system and which is mounted rotatably around an axis of rotation. An output shaft is arranged coaxially to the input shaft. The system also includes an electric machine having a stator and a rotor, and a hub non-rotatably connected to the rotor. The system further includes a wet clutch which has a first actuating piston. The hub is formed as a one-piece forged part and has a first running surface for the first actuating piston. The wet clutch is provided to non-rotatably connect the hub to the output shaft.

  • Patent number: 8997956
Abstract: A rotary electric drive device for a vehicle configured to couple a combustion engine to a wheel. The drive device includes an engagement device selectively drivingly connecting the input member with the rotary electric machine and a fluid coupling. The engagement device includes a differential pressure generating chamber that receives oil supply so as to apply hydraulic pressure to a side of the pressing member opposite to a side to which hydraulic pressure for operation is applied. A body portion housing chamber housing a body portion of the fluid coupling and the differential pressure generating chamber are structured as oil chambers independent of each other. The drive device includes a coupling supply oil passage supplying oil to the body portion housing chamber and a differential pressure supply oil passage supplying the oil to the differential pressure generating chamber.
