Separate, Parallel Formations Supporting Same Load Patents (Class 198/663)
  • Patent number: 11821688
Abstract: A dehydrator apparatus for dehydrating biological material. The apparatus includes an external housing, and a vessel supported within said external housing and spanning in a longitudinal direction thereof in elevated relation from a bottom of the housing. A loading inlet feeds into said vessel from outside the housing for admission of biological material. An air intake feeds into the housing to deliver heated air thereto from a hot air source, and air routing components within the external housing guide the heated air into heat exchange relationship with the vessel itself, and also into heating and aerating exposure to contents of said vessel. An agitator is installed in operable relation to the vessel to agitate the material fed thereinto via the material inlet. An exhaust outlet exhausts the heated air from the housing after having heated and aerated the vessel and its contents.

There is a corresponding decrease in the thickness of the legs in the region where the connecting link works. By decreasing the thickness of the legs in the region outside the offset step, the connecting link may be widened, allowing for a greater bearing surface on the connecting pin and thus reducing the rate of wear on the connecting pin.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a vertical conveyor (2) with double spirals (21, 31). The vertical conveyor (2) consists of a casing (20) and two shaftless spirals (21, 31). The spirals (21, 31) are driven each by a motor (24) via a gear and journal unit (25). The motors (24) are placed at the one short end of the vertical conveyor (2). The spirals (21, 31) are driven in opposite directions in such a manner that the material is “drawn” in at the inlet (22), while being “pressed” out at the outlet (23). This takes place thanks to the material being subjected to force components from the two spirals (21, 31) which act in the directions of the inlet (22) and the outlet (23), respectively. Abstract: A loading device including a frame, a stopper provided along the path through which the products are fed to the predetermined location, a threaded column supported in the frame and rotating in such a manner that the upper surfaces of the threads thereof move clockwise in a direction toward the stopper, a motor rotating the threaded column, and a conveyer supplying the product to the threaded column in such a manner that the product is engaged with the portion between the screw threads. The threaded column has external screw threads turning in a direction toward the predetermined location when the threaded column rotates. The portion between the screw threads receives the product to urge the product along by frictional force from the rotation of the threaded column until the end of the product butts against the stopper. This portion also feeds the product to the predetermined location while urging the end of the product against the stopper.

  • Patent number: 4511026
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for the storage and mechanical transfer of stock or matrix capacitors in the form of substantially parallelepipedal bars obtained by stacking films of metalized plastic material on a wheel of large diameter. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a plurality of endless screws arranged along an arc having a diameter substantially matching that of the parallelepipedal bars after being cut on the wheel, each screw terminating in a circular groove parallel to the transfer direction. The apparatus is employed for the transfer of stock or matrix capacitors towards a station to be cut into unitary capacitors.

  • Patent number: 4280538
Abstract: A machine and method of packaging loose fill material such as fiber insulation into a rectilinear bag is described consisting of a storage tank above a trough enclosing twin counter rotating augers which forcibly drive the loose fill material into a passageway over which the bag is stretched, forcing the bag off the stretcher as it is filled. A hinged can assembly contains the bag and is guided along a track as the bag is filled and forcibly moved off the stretcher, presenting the filled bag to an operator who removes it and seals the bag.

  • Patent number: 4140214
Abstract: At least one pair of vertically superimposed conveyors are located in the bottom region of a bunker in order to discharge the bulk material. The conveyors are spaced apart to create a void or at least a loosened zone free from horizontal pressures in the bulk material between the conveyors. The void prevents the bulk material from bridging over so that gravity flow is not impeded.

  • Patent number: 4078653
Abstract: A rotary piston conveyor comprising a plurality of interengaged rotors in which at least one rotor is driven and, in turn, drives the other rotors. Each pair of adjacent rotors have spiral vanes which mesh to form the conveyor path as the rotors rotate. The degree of interengagement of the flanks or edges of the meshed vanes determine the efficiency of the conveyor path formed by the meshed vanes for any particular material or groups of material. Hence the rotors are adjustable to vary the interengagement of the vanes. The clearance between vanes in a direction parallel to the shaft determines the size or cross-section of the conveyor path. Hence, the rotors are longitudinally adjustable with respect to each other to vary the clearance. The adjustment device includes a split gear on the driven rotor and means for making each of the two adjustments as well as markings or indicia which may be read against a marker to show the degree of adjustment.
