Abstract: A portable brim can be securely attached to and operate with various helmets such as bicycle, skateboarding, snow sport, mountain/rock climbing, equestrian, and paddlesport helmets as well as hard hats used in construction, utility maintenance, material moving, dock loading, and airport baggage handling, to give the wearer shade and protection from the sun. The brim apparatus includes a center section having a size for fitting about a circumference of the sports helmet and a visor outwardly or radially extending from the center section. In one brim apparatus the center section features a stop surface that opposes an upper surface of the visor when the apparatus is affixed to the headgear such that the visor is prohibited from flipping upwards or sliding down or coming off during use.

Each retaining portion has an inner opening, an outer opening and a receiving chamber between the inner opening and the outer opening. The pair of speaker modules are respectively retained in the retaining portions. Each speaker module has an ear cover, a housing and an electroacoustic transducer disposed in the housing. The ear cover is fixed to the inner opening. The housing is partially exposed outside the outer opening. The electroacoustic transducer faces the inner opening.

The apparatus includes a bill, a head band, and an at least one tee pocket. The head band supports and holds the apparatus on the player's head, and the bill shields the player's eyes from the sun. The at least one tee pocket is integrated into the head band so that a golf tee can be carried by the apparatus similar to a person tucking a pen/pencil behind their ear. The tee pocket includes a slit opening and a pocket bag. The slit opening traverses into the pocket bag adjacent to the bill. The pocket bag is the actual means to carry the golf tee and is located within the head band.

The top portion is generally hemispherical, but may be other shapes, for example, cylindrical or mostly hemispherical, and protects the wearer's head from the sun, wind, dust and the like. There is an open area in the rear of the top portion facilitating adjustment. The adjustable elastic band is attached around a bottom edge of the top portion and an adjusting portion of the adjustable elastic band resides at the base of the open area. The adjustable elastic band includes an elastic portion sequentially apart from the adjusting portion to provide a comfortable fit to the wearer. The elastic portion may be two elastic side portions connected by a non-elastic portion residing at a base of the visor. The adjustable portion may include snaps, buttons, a buckle, or hook and loop fasteners.

The first and second gores are stretchable circumferentially away from the connecting line to thereby increase the diameter of the crown. The outer shell of the hat is constructed of waterproof or water resistant nylon, polyester, cotton, wool, or other material. Additionally, there are two vertical pockets facing downwards, one on either side of the exterior of the hat, which oppose each other. Inside each of these pockets are chin straps which may vary in size. Located at the ends of each of the chin straps are connectors. Located on the front exterior portion of the crown is a combination logo base and lower hatch patch which utilizes connectors to secure eye glasses including sunglasses, to the hat. Abstract: A headband mainly used for headwear and constructed by properly weaving 100% nylon combustible yarn. Having no polyurethane, the headband is woven to single ply or two-ply without an additional stitched portion, and exhibits good elasticity as a whole through the napped, felt-like structure of the textile. The circumferential stretch direction of the headband also provides excellent sweat absorption capability. With this construction a wide range of automatic size adjustment is obtained without imposing undue elastic pressure on the wearer such that the cap and headband are comfortable for extended periods of wear.

Abstract: An adjustable cap apparatus comprising a crown portion having a front end and a rear end, an opening disposed on the rear end of the crown portion, a visor attached to the front end of the crown portion, and stretchable material completely covering the opening such that surface continuity with the crown portion is maintained. The multi-axial stretchability and resiliency of the material covering the opening allows for both halves of the crown portion to either be drawn together or spread apart to fit the wearer, thereby providing a degree of adjustability to the cap and comfort to the wearer. The stretchable material disposed within the opening has a greater stretchability than the material of the crown portion, even when the crown portion is composed predominantly of a stretchable material, thereby serving the purpose of increasing the degree of adjustability in caps already incorporating stretchable material in the crown portion.
