The resistance bands comprise a resilient material and offer no resistance when formed to each leg, out of the way for everyday activities. When the resistance bands are unformed and fastened together by way of a locking canister affixed to each resistance band, the muscles of the lower body, primarily the inner thighs and buttocks, may be stimulated as the legs are moved further apart during a resistance exercise program.

Abstract: A combined zipper top stop and pull tab safety protection structure includes a left top stop located on a top end of a left zipper tape, a right top stop located on a top end of a right zipper tape, a zipper slider used to close/open the left and right zipper tapes, and a pull tab coupled to the zipper slider, a pin hole located on one of the left and right top stops, a mating pin located on the other of the left and right top stops for engagement with the pin hole, an engagement block located on a top side of one of the left and right top stops, and an engagement hole located on the pull tab for engagement with the engagement block after engagement between the pin hole and the mating pin. The invention relates also to a method of using the combined zipper top stop and pull tab safety protection structure.

A weather-resistant insert is configured to removably couple to the pocket, substantially the entirety of the weather-resistant insert being comprised of a pliable textile material, the insert being generally formed to movement of the user.

Abstract: The present invention provides a new and useful athletic shorts garment apparatus with improved interfemoral gusset and surrounding modesty panel. This invention is believed to be useful by offering an apparatus which stays in place when in use, does not ride-up the legs, prevents chafing, provides a flared modesty panel that is flattering, accommodates all hip sizes and hides the body shape and contours of the user, has readily accessible large pockets for carrying items, has a double gusset located between the legs to prevent splitting that can occur from a single seam, allows for the addition of a drawstring, and is reversible. The aforementioned existing apparatus in the field is indicated to be used by athletes, most commonly women who are runners, walkers, tennis players and the like.

Abstract: A shorts garment comprising insulating fleece and durable, wind-blocking patch pockets. The shorts comprise fleece front and rear panels with high air permeability. The patch pockets comprise durable, non-stretch fabric with low air permeability, sewn on top of the fleece panels. The patch pocket fabric has an air permeability less than the air permeability of the fleece, thereby providing enhanced wind and cold protection for the thigh areas. The air permeability of the pocket fabric can be less than 1/2, 1/5 or 1/10 of the air permeability of the fleece. The patch pockets also protect the fleece from wear and abrasion. A crotch area between the pockets has high air permeability fleece, and so the crotch receives cooling air ventilation. The patch pockets preferably cover about 20%, 30%, 40% or more of the front fleece panels. The present shorts garment is comfortably warm over a wide temperature range.

They are utilizable within footwear assemblies and exhibit stretchability in at least one direction by at least about 35% at 4 lbs force and exhibit at least about 80% recovery.
