Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a releasable flexible coupling system comprising a base, a coupling member, and a sewn member. The coupling member is fixably coupled to the base across the widthwise dimension on opposite sides of the lengthwise dimension forming a recess between the base and the coupling member. The sewn member comprises a strap, a folded region, and a primary stitch. The strap includes a body and a lengthwise end. The folded region is disposed on the lengthwise end of the strap and includes a portion that overlaps the body. The primary stitch extends through both the folded region and the body of the strap. An optional stiffener may be disposed between the lengthwise end of the strap and the folded region. The primary stitch will also extend through the stiffener if present.

Abstract: A tool tethering method includes the steps of providing a tool with a longitudinal portion, installing a base layer on the longitudinal portion, providing an overwrap member, and providing a connector strap. The connector strap includes a length of webbing secured to a connector and defining a first catch and a second catch. The connector strap is positioned with the body portion axially aligned with the longitudinal portion of the tool, with the first catch and the second catch facing away from the longitudinal portion, and with the back surface in contact with the base layer. The overwrap member is installed over the body portion of the connector strap and the corresponding region of the longitudinal portion of the tool and base layer, thereby securing the connector strap to the tool.

Abstract: An anchored garment assembly is provided for holding an outer garment in a suspended position relative to an inner garment. The assembly includes an inner garment having a waistband and a pair of leg openings. A support loop is coupled to the inner garment. An outer garment has a top edge and a pair of leg portions extending downwardly from the top edge. A first strap has a first end, a second end, and a medial portion extending between the first end and the second end. The first end of the first strap is coupled to the outer garment. The medial portion of the first strap extends through the support loop. The second end is coupled to the outer garment whereby the top edge of the outer garment is supported by the first strap in spaced relationship to the waistband of the inner garment.

Abstract: An undergarment configured to secure a second garment thereto, including an undergarment shaped to be worn about the hip region of a user. The undergarment includes a loop system extending outwardly from a non-crotch area of the undergarment and including a plurality of anchor modes having differing heights up the undergarment. The undergarment includes an attachment member coupled to the loop system, including a clip and a coupling device coupled to the clip and selectably coupleable to the loop system at the anchor modes. The loop system further includes an elongated member coupled vertically to the undergarment at a plurality of spaced positions, thereby forming successive independent loops The undergarment includes a length adjustment device configured to selectably adjust an effectual height of the clip extending therefrom. The loop system further includes a plurality of successive independent loops.

Abstract: Trouser suspenders for securing trousers in a predetermined position below the waist. The trouser suspenders have a waist strap designed to extend around the waist of a wearer. A first extender is attached to, and dependent from, the waist strap and the first extender has one fastener attached directly thereto. A second extender is attached to, and dependent from, the waist strap and the second extender has one fastener attached directly thereto. The fastener of the first extender and the fastener of the second extender attach to the trousers.

Abstract: A garter belt for supporting heavy stockings which cover protective leg gear worn by a hockey player. The garter belt includes a preferably elastic elongated waist engaging belt and a plurality of spaced apart garters each connected at an upper end thereof to, and downwardly depend from, the waist belt. Each lower end of each garter includes a first strip of fastener material formed of the hooked portion of two part VELCRO hook and loop fastener. A second strip of hooked fastener material is connected at its upper end to a mid portion of the garter and positioned to face and be generally coextensive and aligned with the first strip. The first and second strips straddle the stocking opening and are separable for releasible engagement against both inside and outside stocking surfaces just below the stocking opening. At least two garter strips at the front and back of each leg are preferred.

Abstract: A device for compressing and concealing a boot beneath a trouser leg includes an elongated panel having an inner side, an outer side, a bottom end and a top end. Secured to the top end is a buckle means for securing the panel to a boot strap. A pair of length adjustable straps extend from the panel for encircling and compressing the upper portion of a boot. Accordingly, the compressed upper portion of the boot may be easily inserted into a pants leg and concealed therewithin.

Three upper male fasteners on the front face of the upper strap are capable of securing the upper loop around the leg below the knee by coupling with an upper female fastener on the rear face of the upper strap adjacent the second edge of the upper strap. The pockets are preferably disposed in the central back, lateral, and/or rearward lateral areas of the belt when the belt is being worn, thus providing a variety of placement choices for the anti-snoring devices which may be installed therein. The devices may comprise an electromechanical vibrator, activated by a pressure switch when the device is positioned between the sleeper and an underlying surface, and/or rigid, monolithic devices having multiple projections which serve to encourage the sleeper to shift positions when disposed between the sleeper and an underlying surface. The relatively non-compliant devices provide better stimulus to encourage the sleeper to shift positions than other, softer devices developed, and provide a variety of stimuli in order that a sleeper cannot become accustomed to a single type of stimulus.

Abstract: An elastic (1) belt with a buckle (2) and having an adjustment slide (3) for waist size adjustment and "Race Number Attachment System" (4 and 5) which consists of 2 small dangling elastic pieces which are stitched (7B and 7C) at one end to the belt. These 2 dangling elastic pieces (4) are fed through the 2 top holes in a race number indicator sign. The 2 dangling elastics (4) are long enough to accept a variety of different size race numbers. The number is held in place and adjustment made using 2 cord locks (5A and 5B).

Abstract: An infant garment band including fastener ends to secure the band in surrounding relationship relative to a waist portion of an infant is provided to include a plurality of fastener members extending above and below the band for securement of an infant tee shirt and diaper relative to the infant. A modification of the invention includes a locking loop directed through a forward surface of the band through the fastener portion for mounting a tether line thereto, wherein the apparatus further is arranged to provide for securement clasps mounted to a rear surface of the band to permit securement of the band and the infant relative to a cart structure and the like preventing inadvertent and accidental loss of the infant from such transport vehicles.

The holder comprises a strap with a belt loop formed in one end thereof and a small ring at the other end. A larger ring is concentrically mounted around the small ring and a substantially rigid spacer is positioned between the rings and their pivot connections with the straps.
