Abstract: A leg restraint system to hold a person's thighs together while seated with bent legs, including a strap having a first strap end and a second strap end, a buckle, the buckle having a first latchable end and a second latchable end, wherein the first latchable end is affixed to the first strap end and the second latchable end affixed to the second strap end, one or more keepers configured to gather the first strap end and a second strap end, a bungee binder, the bungee binder configured to hold the strap in a stored position and, thus, functions to be easily used to carry or transport the leg restraint system and utilize the leg restraint system to clasp, cinch, and hold a seated passengers bent legs in parallel and prevent their bent legs from spreading to a V-spread and encroaching on another adjacent traveler's designated leg space.

Each of the left hand and right hand side pieces is connected to a common back piece via side-symmetrical length adjustment patterns and safety stops preventing accidental disengagement of the side pieces from the common back piece. A belt buckle provided with extensions, as well as use hereof is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention provides an improved garment fastener, wherein in one aspect it secures a garment panel during windy conditions, the garment fastener including a garment anchor and a plurality of elongated straps, the garment anchor adapted for releasable receipt of the elongated straps, each of the elongated straps extendable laterally from the garment anchor towards the garment panel, a panel connector adapted for connection to the garment panel, the panel connector having a threadable aperture for receipt of at least a portion of the extendable strap and the garment anchor secures the garment panel along the axis of elasticity.

The watch also includes a control member intended to be actuated by a user and an internal transmission device provided with an actuator, able to move, in response to actuation of the control member, between a rest position and an active position in which it actuates a mechanism of the movement. In an original manner, the transmission device includes a closed cavity filled with a fluid and a thrust means kinematically connected to the control member and arranged to displace the fluid inside the cavity, the displacement of fluid inside the cavity causing displacement of the actuator.

Abstract: A device for carrying a surfboard, similar sporting equipment or other objects. One embodiment is comprised of webbing material with fixed loop 24 having a buckle 22 that slides along the fixed loop 24 and a strap element 20 that in combination with the buckle 22 creates a secondary adjustable loop. The secondary adjustable loop is used to hold a surfboard or other object securely in place and the fixed loop 24 supports the surfboard from one of the user's shoulder allowing hands free operation. When not utilized as a carrier the device can be worn, such as a belt. The user keeps the fixed loop 24 compressed together, wraps the carrier around his/her waist, through the buckle 22 and then attaches it back onto itself.

Abstract: An orthopedic device is provided for treating complications of the hip and has means for trochanter compression, pelvis support, lumbar compression, variously directed straps, and thigh support. The trochanter compression and an internal/external rotation strap provide pain relief through compression and skin protection, unloading of joints through compression and sealing, and unloading by load transfer. Means for adjustably dosing of straps enables pain management and ease of use.

Abstract: One example describes a holder (also known as a holster or accessory) that is to be used by uniformed professional field personnel (e.g., law enforcement, fire, parks departments, search and rescue, private security, utilities personnel, military, etc.), collectively described below as “Officer”. This also introduces new features that allow for improved access and improved Officer safety. This also deals with the holders and how to build or set them up, so that it is safe and convenient, as well as protected and easy to access for the officer, but not easy to access for a third party. Some of the variations and structures that we show here are, e.g., the spring loaded flaps, the cutouts on the sides, the magnet, and the recessed snap.

Abstract: A clothing support system is provided, which includes a clothing support article for providing support to a portion of a user's body. The clothing support article has front and rear panels of a substantially non-elastic fabric, for the support of a portion of the user's body. The front and rear panels are attached together by first and second side panels, which include a fabric of two-way elasticity which is stretchable between the front and rear panels. The clothing support system may further include a tension strap having a central support portion and two ends which are attachable to the front panel, to thereby provide enhanced support to a user's body. A method for providing support to a user's body is also provided, wherein tension is applied to the tension strap of the clothing support system.

Abstract: The present invention provides in one aspect a set of over the shoulder support braces to be worn to support a belt for trousers (or a kilt or skirt et cetera), the braces having at least one strap with a free end having a clip and to which is demountably assembled an adaptor that comprises a body having a lower in use part with a hook formation to hook under a belt, the body further having a first aperture through which the strap of the over shoulder braces passes in use and the clip is passed through the aperture and clipped on and/or wedged in part of the body. The present invention also provides an adaptor for converting clip-on over the shoulder support braces to be able to hook to a belt.

The harnessing system is versatile so as to go over the shoulders or under the legs, as necessary. The belt may further comprise handle supports for reinforcement, a pad for comfort, a cover for durability, and a pocket for versatility.

Abstract: An adjustable maternity pant expander is provided for bridging the gap in the waistband of a pair of pants worn by a pregnant woman. The pant expander comprises a strip, with tapered ends in some embodiments. The pant expander uses Velcro and/or buttons to fasten under or over belt loops on pants worn by a user.

Abstract: A decorative strap system includes a strap with individual compartments defined therein. Each compartment is accessible via its own opening. A magnetic material piece is selectively placed in one or more of the compartments via the openings associated therewith. The waist belt is formed by two strip-like woven fabrics which are connected by a fastening strap, and includes a first end link unit and a second link unit at two ends thereof. The linked waist support is disposed between and partially overlapped by the first end link unit and the second end link unit. The linked waist support comprises a base plate, a first side link unit disposed on the base plate and correspondingly linked to the first end link unit via a first linking cable, and a second side link unit disposed adjacently to the first side link unit on the base plate and correspondingly linked to the second end link unit via a second linking cable. Thus, without unfastening the waist belt, tightening force of the waist belt can be adjusted and changed with ease.

Abstract: A compression wrap for providing pressure to an injured portion of a joint of a limb is provided. The compression wrap includes a pocket portion for receiving compression insert. The compression wrap further includes a strap connected to the pocket portion and adjustably securing the compression wrap to the limb. A buckle loop connected to the opposite side of the pocket portion as the strap adjustably receives the strap to adjust the size of the strap. Further, the strap portion and the pocket portion are configured such that when the compression wrap is attached to the limb of a person having an injury proximate the joint, the pocket portion is positionable to apply a load to the location of the injury while the strap portion is spaced away from the crease of the joint.

Abstract: One example of the invention describes a belt that is to be used by uniformed professional field personnel (e.g. law enforcement, fire, park department, search and rescue, private security, utilities personnel, military, etc.). Some examples of the invention introduce many new features which allow for improved access, comfort, reliability, ruggedness and cosmetics. In one embodiment, the description describes a metal rail on a belt, to which accessories attach. The other items of the inventions are the details of the buckle and its various designs. Other attachments and accessories, plus various setups and arrangements for the belts and buckles, are also presented here.

Abstract: A hip harness for supporting upper body armor. The harness includes a hip belt, a frame, and a coupler. The hip belt is securable about the hips of a user of the body armor. The frame provides flexible support and has a lower end secured to the rear portion of the hip belt. The coupler is adjustably securable to the upper end of the frame. It has strips that fit through attachment loops on the back of the body armor to secure the harness to the armor.

Abstract: The headgear has right and left symmetrical earguard assemblies with an earguard pad and protective shell that are detachable from each other. A plurality of detachable head straps join each earguard assembly to prevent separation of the pad and shell of each earguard assembly. The periphery of each protective shell is surrounded and embraced by peripheral wall portions on the pads to align the respective shells on the respective earguard pads in an alignment position. Corresponding engageable protrusions and recesses on the pads and shells also help maintain the alignment position.

Indicia, identifying an organization, is displayed on at least a portion of the exterior surface. A container is provided to store the loop of flexible material. Some embodiments couple the container with a belt or other article of clothing or clothing accessory. The loop of flexible material may be coupled with the container. The container may serve as an anchoring point for one or more methods of displaying the loop of flexible material. Some methods of use position the loop of flexible material over portions of a user's body. Some methods of use permit one hand operation of the apparatus.

Abstract: A body conforming, reusable, washable, textile holder for removably holding at least one electronic device in close bodily contact. The holder may be a wrap or tube constructed to enclose a portion of the body where the electronic device is to be held. The electronic device may be a cellular telephone, a wireless communication device, a personal audio device, a wearable computer, an electronic monitoring device, an electronic identification card, or other electronic device. The invention also relates to a system comprising the body conforming holder and an electronic device for use therewith, and a method for holding such an electronic device in close bodily contact by wearing the holder.

Abstract: A belt extender for installation on a belt with a removable buckle comprising a main body with a first end and a second end, a metal tab fixedly attached to and extending from a first end of the main body of the belt extender, and a longitudinal slot roughly centrally disposed on the main body of the belt extender. The main body folds over itself at a fold line that extends through the center of the longitudinal slot and is secured in place with snap fasteners to create a folded end. A belt buckle comprising a tongue and a frame is installed on the folded end of the belt extender by sliding the frame of the belt buckle over the second end of the belt extender and inserting the tongue through the longitudinal slot prior to folding. The metal tab is inserted into a longitudinal slot on the buckle end of the belt strap and rotated so that the main body of the belt extender is aligned with the belt strap on the buckle end of the belt.

Abstract: A garment for securing and storing bodily fluid drainage reservoirs and other fluid reservoirs. The garment comprises a loose-fitting body with at least one small aperture for receiving drainage tubing and at least one pocket cloth partly fixed to the body of the garment and partly detachably coupled to the body of the garment which allows for the easy storage and removal of the fluid drainage reservoir. The pocket cloth allows for the continuing support of the drainage reservoir as the drainage reservoir becomes heavier e.g. about 1 kilogram, due to the collection of fluid draining from the patient into the drainage reservoir. The secure storage of the drainage reservoir enables the wearer to move without worry of the drainage reservoir coming loose, losing fluid, or being exposed to a non-sterile environment external to the pocket cloth. The garment may be configured for wear by male and female children and adults.

Abstract: A pants support structure for cinching a pair of pants between the structure and a belt. The pants support structure has a support body with a first and second edge with at least one fastening member on the first edge. The fastening member is a hook that receives a belt and lies over the pants so that the pair of pants is cinched between the support body and the belt. The support body has an opening for receiving the button of the pants to provide further force to cinch the pants between the fastening member and the support body.

Abstract: A belt sword system includes a flexible sword and a sword belt. One end of the flexible sword includes a handle and the other end is angled to form a point. The handle may be formed by wrapping tape around the one end. At least one of the exposed lengthwise edges may be sharpened. The sword belt preferably includes a belt, a plurality of retention clips and a slide buckle keeper. The belt includes a strap and a retention buckle. The slide buckle keeper retains an end of the strap. The plurality of retention clips are attached along a length of the strap with rivets. The sword belt may be worn with the plurality of retention clips facing outward or facing inward toward the waist. Preferably, the flexible sword is inserted into the plurality of retention clips, before the sword belt is inserted into the loops of a pair of pants.

Abstract: A suspender set and peace officer's shirt are described wherein the suspenders for the duty belt are located beneath the officer's shirt with only a portion of the suspender set extending outwardly through the front and rear of the shirt for connection to the duty belt worn by the officer.

Abstract: A protective garment configured to facilitate easy donning of the garment is described. The garment includes one or more foreshortening structures within the garment that allows for the arms and legs to be shorted into a donning configuration. This allows the garment to be handled and donned by the wearer, without the wearer touching an exterior surface of the garment or allowing any portion of the garment to touch another surface. A method of preparing a protective garment for donning and a method of donning such a garment is also disclosed.

Abstract: A strap-type watch band construction is fabricated from a blank. The blank includes three sections. A first section is folded over forming a double layer portion that is stitched and secures a buckle and a keeper and supports a watch casing, which is preferably slidably supported thereon. A second section is a single layer of the blank, extends from the first section, and includes apertures therethrough for receiving the buckle. A third section extends from the second section and is folded over to form a tip portion. The third section improves gripping and facilitates insertion of the tip portion through the buckle and the keeper. The single layer construction of the second section facilitates putting the watch band construction on the wrist as it is flexible and tends to form around the wrist.

Abstract: An anterior trunk support. The anterior trunk support is shaped like a vest and is formed of non-stretch or limited stretch material over a lower portion that extends over the upper belly and lower ribs of a user, and stretch material that extends from the non-stretch material to over the shoulders of the user. In this manner, a wearer may lean slightly forward, with the stretchable shoulder portion flexibly permitting such movement. The lower section may be stretchable in a width dimension only. As such, the lower section provides movement for user's respiration, thus providing additional comfort. By not stretching in the vertical direction, the anterior trunk support does not slide up the wearer's chest when tension is applied to the upper stretchable material. Thus, comfort is maintained, and the lower section does not approach the neck of the user.

Abstract: A lower garment assembly includes a lower garment, a suspender device for suspending the lower garment, and attachment elements provided on an inner surface of the lower garment in alignment with a crotch section of the lower garment. The suspender device includes a waistband portion adapted to fit around the waist of a user, and at least two suspending portions extending downwardly and respectively from front and rear sides of the waistband portion and attached to the respective attachment elements so that the suspending portions are aligned with the crotch section. The suspender device can be configured to resemble a thong to expose the midriff of the user.
