Abstract: A belt with multiple straps so as to achieve different looks, which comprises a main body made up of at least two straps placed one on top of the other; along a side section the belt has a holding system for keeping the various straps making up the main body together, which in turn acts as a rotation shaft for moving the belts so as to display the different faces of said straps as the external face of the main body; thus making it possible to have a plurality of colours and shapes in the same belt. At one end the main body has a buckle comprising a plate with a pivot at the top; at the end opposite the pivot is a support with a hole at the centre through which there passes a screw that supports the main body of the belt.

Abstract: Maternity wear of the invention accommodates the changing shape of a woman's body during pregnancy, minimizing the need for maternity clothes. In one aspect of the invention, pants or a skirt are worn with the upper end unfastened so as to conform to the shape of the swelling torso in pregnancy, and an elastic band shaped similarly to a tube top is worn generally around the waist, so as to overlap the top of the unfastened pants or skirt and retain them on the body. A top, such as a blouse or shirt, can be worn with its tail end extending over the band. In another aspect of the invention, too-large maternity clothing is worn with the band garment engaged over the upper end. If desired the band garment can be folded over on itself, thus doubling its thickness.

  • Patent number: 8256031
Abstract: A safety gripping device for use by a passenger riding a vehicle in tandem behind a vehicle operator. The device is in the form of a discrete article with ergonomically inclined handles at either end to be manually positioned by the passenger generally in front of the vehicle operator's torso. Rather than depending on straps or belts worn by the operator or handles directly affixed to the vehicle, the gripping device affords a convenient, comfortable and natural way of gripping, generally avoiding a personal hugging engagement with, or distracting pressure upon, the vehicle operator. This facilitates longer journeys with prolonged enjoyment on a shared vehicle. This portable safety device helps the passenger to better and more safely balance and steady him/herself with respect to the vehicle and its operator. The device may be fabricated or molded from a flexible material, and conveniently include an integral storage container with removable cap.
