Abstract: A partial garment lift/quick-access system for installation in an upper body garment for wearers who have a need for immediate and unobstructed access to the waist/belt line to retrieve essential items. The quick-access system allows the wearer to immediately expose an item at the waist/belt line, for complete and unobstructed access by pulling a simple cord at the chest pocket. This act produces a curtain-like affect at the bottom hem of the garment; assisting the wearer to make rapid hand-to-item contact while keeping the hem of the garment suspended for the duration of the required activity. The pull cord may be installed on one or both sides of the shirt system to allow for the most efficient access by the wearer. Abstract: An inflatable structure includes a fabric body having three hydrophilic and vapor-transmissible plastic layers sequentially applied over an inner surface thereof, and including at least one continuous S-shaped bonding channel, along which areas on an outer surface of the fabric body at two opposite sides thereof are bonded together. The three hydrophilic and vapor transmissible plastic layers are lightweight, waterproof, vapor transmissible, and warm; and the S-shaped bonding channel has small width to allow increased inflatable space in the fabric body. The continuous S-shaped bonding channel has two ends formed into two closed circular bonding lines to avoid damage of the inflatable structure by stress concentrated at the bonding line.

Abstract: The present invention consists of an integrated monitoring and multichannel communication system for the management of rescue teams, especially those fighting forest fires, comprising a suit (1), worn by all operational suited units in the terrain; and electronic system (2); a telecommunication system (4) and an information system (3). The suit integrates fireproof, waterproof, heatproof and impact resistant materials, which as a unit integrate, protect and ease access to the electronic system. The electronic system (2) collects biometric and location data from the operational suited units in the terrain, transmitting said data to a panel located in the back of the suit. The telecommunications system (4) sends the biometric, orientation and location data, in real-time through an Ultra High Frequency network, to a computer integrated into a support vehicle, which in its turn sends the data, via terrestrial or satellite communications, to a server.
