Abstract: An apparatus and a method for selectively etching an encapsulant forming a package of resinous material around an electronic device includes an electronic device package mountable on the etch head; a conductive electrode in electrical contact with package leads of the electronic device package to apply a first voltage to the package leads of the electronic device; a first pump configured to pump a first quantity of the etchant solution from the source into the etch head where the etchant solution is electrically biased to a second voltage different from the first voltage. An etch cavity is formed on an exterior surface of the electronic device package. When the etchant solution has etched through an exterior surface of the electronic device package, the conductive bond wires of the electronic device is prevented from being etched by the applied first voltage.
Abstract: A pop-up type dispenser is provided for paper towels, in which a specially sized and shaped hole in the dispenser top cooperates with a stack of paper towels housed in the dispenser. The towel stack has at least two interfolded webs of perforated absorbent sheet material in which the perforations of one web are not aligned with the perforations of an adjacent web. The towels may be withdrawn through the opening one sheet at a time, by a user pulling on a first sheet of said one web protruding through said opening without needing to touch a next sheet on the adjacent web or a subsequent sheet on the one web.
Abstract: A coating film-forming method comprising a first step which comprises coating a cationic eletrodeposition coating composition (A) containing an electrically conducting agent, followed by washing with water and heat curing and drying to form a cured cationic electrodeposition coating film; a second step which comprises coating such an anionic electrodeposition coating composition (B) that a coating film formed therefrom has a chromatic color or a white color as an achromatic color onto the cured cationic electrodeposition coating film, followed by washing with water, and removing water by preheating or air blowing to form a non-cured anionic electrodeposition coating film; and a third step which comprises coating a topcoating composition (C) thereonto to form a non-cured topcoating film, and heat curing and drying a resulting laminated coating film simultaneously.
Abstract: A process for forming a cured paint film from a paint containing, as a binder, a resin containing a carbonyl group, or a resin, or a resin mixture containing a carbonyl group and a carboxyl group or a paint containing, as a binder, a resin containing a resin or a resin mixture containing a group which forms a carboxyl group in the subsequent contact step with a hydrazine compound or polyhydrazide compound. The uncured paint film, which contains a carbonyl group, or a carbonyl group and a carboxyl group or a group that forms a carboxyl group, is subjected to a step of curing the paint film by allowing the uncured paint film to contact with a hydrazine compound or a polyhydrazide compound.
Abstract: A package for stacked sheets to be freely taken out one by one. The stacked sheets are deformed to have their two longitudinal end portions close to each other and to have a recess, and the two end portions are arranged in common planes in the vertical direction. The stacked sheets is enabled to have a generally square top plan shape and to have a small height so that they can be packaged compactly. The sheet to be taken out is pinched upward while being held between the two sides of the recess, and the two sides of the recess are in parallel with the face of an outlet of the envelope. A sheet next to the sheet to be pulled out comes into abutment with the face of the outlet of the envelope at the two sides of the recess so that the sheets are not taken out in a gang.
