Abstract: A container includes a receptacle having a bottom panel, at least one wall extending upwardly from the bottom panel, and a lid coupling region extending from an upper portion of the at least one wall. The lid coupling region includes an upstanding barrier wall, and a locking member movable from a blocking position to a non-blocking position. The container further comprises a lid having a receptacle coupling region extending about the periphery thereof. The receptacle coupling region includes an outer edge that seats behind the barrier wall. A portion of the outer edge can be exposed for gripping access to remove the lid when the locking member is moved to the non-blocking position.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a cosmetic apparatus. More particularly, the invention encompasses an accessory sleeve for a cosmetic item. The present invention is also directed to a novel lock-in cosmetic accessory sleeve. The accessory sleeve has a first opening to securely and releaseably accommodate a first cosmetic container, and a second opening to securely and releaseably accommodate a second cosmetic container. Both the accessory sleeve and the containers have releaseable engagement means to securely hold each to the other.

Abstract: Secure product container 10 has opposed closure shells 10P and 10A forming product chamber 10C. The shells may be separated into an open accessible state (see FIG. 1A), in which the closure shells are uncaptured and product 10G is accessible. The closure shells may be placed together in a closed state along closure interface 12C (see FIG. 1B), in which the closure shells are captured to enclose the product. A closure capture between the closure shells holds the shells in the closed state. Closure capture 26 has a secured condition (see FIG. 2B) in which the closure shells are captured together in the closed state, and a released condition (see FIG. 2A) in which the closure shells may be uncaptured in the accessible state. Capture release device 12 on active shell 10A is pressure responsive for releasing the closure capture from the secured condition into the released condition when pressurized.

Abstract: A dispenser having a storage compartment may hold a blister package or other object. The blister package may be slid in and out of the dispenser through an opening. Corner latches pivotally attached to the dispenser on either side of the opening move between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a portion of the corner latches extend into the opening thereby preventing the object from being removed from the dispenser. The corner latches are moved to the second position such that the corner latches no longer block the opening to the dispenser so that the blister package may be removed.

Abstract: There is provided a child-resistant container having a top and bottom hingedly connected together, first, second and third cooperative locking devices on both the upper and lower members, the locking devices being operative such that a first locking device can be operated to permit a limited unlocking between the two members at which time the second and third locking devices must be operated to fully open the container. A double locking action on two of the locking devices is illustrated as well as an arrangement for dispensing a product from a blister pack within the container.

Abstract: A package for shipping and displaying bottles of beverage vertically upright. A rectangular box is provided for receiving and holding a bottle therein. The box is formed from a top and bottom panels connecting to side panels and front and back support members at the top and bottom of the box. An additional longitudinal member extending along the top at the rear of the box supports the bottle neck with a moveable bar or rod extending across the body of the bottle through a hole in the side panel abutting and engaging a slot or depression formed in the opposing side panel. A retaining means such as a peg or lock secures the rod from moving.

Abstract: A security device is removably affixable to an article. The security device includes a housing having a securing pad, a locking element and a strap. The locking element is disposed within the housing. The strap includes a first end having a latching region that is insertable into the housing and a second end having a securing region. The strap is slidingly movable between an open position and a locked position. The locking element engages with the latching region of the strap. An eccentrically mounted wheel may be mounted on one of the securing region of the strap and the securing pad. When in the locked position, the eccentrically mounted wheel secures the article between the securing pad and the securing region of the strap.

Abstract: A first coupling member 20 can be engaged with a first engagement hole 2e and held slidably by a first support member 12. A second coupling member 30 of the present embodiment can be engaged with a second engagement hole 2f and held slidably by a second support member 13. With this configuration, a relative position between a second housing 2 and a protection cover 10 changes at the time of turning the second housing 2 in a direction indicated by an arrow A or B, which can prevent the protection cover 10 from loosening significantly near the hinge portions 3.

Abstract: A case for storing a storage medium device, such as a compact disc or digital video disc, wherein the storage medium itself is used to transition the case from an unlocked position to a locked position, and vice versa. The case includes a front cover having a pocket, wherein when the storage medium is loaded in the pocket, the storage medium may be accessed via a latch window provided in the front cover, and moved to transition the case between the locked and unlocked positions. The latch window also provides the user with visual access to the interior of the pocket to determine whether a storage medium is loaded therein.

Abstract: Security devices according to the present invention may be configured to secure an article supported by display packaging. The display packaging may include display cards, blister packs, pouch packaging, thermoform packaging, and other types of packaging. The display packaging may define a display side on which the article is presented for viewing, and a back side that often faces a display rack. The display side of the display packaging may also include consumer messaging (e.g., graphics, text, product information, advertising, etc.) that is intended for viewing by a consumer. The security device may include a device body structured for positioning proximate the display packaging without substantially obscuring the display side of the display packaging and a locking mechanism associated with the device body and positioned proximate the back side of the display packaging. In the locked state, the locking mechanism may receive and secure a securing member that penetrates the display packaging.

Abstract: A packaging arrangement is provided for displaying a tool set and a plurality of interchangeable work pieces at a point of sale that is useable as a carrying case after it is purchased. The packaging arrangement has an insert with a plurality of receptacles at spaced apart intervals between the outer ends for individual reception of the interchangeable work pieces. A locking member is provided with the insert and is moveable between an engaged position and a disengaged position to selectively secure the interchangeable work pieces in the receptacles of the insert.

Abstract: A childproof and senior friendly packaging container having a housing that defines a chamber for removably receiving a blister card or sheet. The blister sheet includes a flap on its end that is designed to engage a flap extending into the chamber of the housing to retain the blister card within the housing in an extended position. A node on the blister card flap is sized to fit within a slot or hole on the housing to retain the blister card in a stored position.

Abstract: The assembly includes a system for holding a product and a protection device for protecting the system. The protection device includes a cap mounted on the system so as to at least partly cover it and at least one releasing structure for releasing the system. The releasing structure includes a retaining means for retaining the system relative to the cap and an actuating structure for actuating the retaining means in order to disconnect the system and the protection device. The retaining structure is provided on an inner face of the releasing structure, the actuating structure being provided on an outer face of the releasing structure, on the opposite side from the inner face. The second segment is positioned to engage the projection.

Abstract: Various embodiments of pharmaceutical product containers are disclosed. Each pharmaceutical product container includes a cap, a container body, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is disposable from a locked state to an unlocked state at least when the cap is in a closed position relative to the container body (e.g., to define an enclosed space for pharmaceutical product). Once in the locked state and with the cap being in a closed position, the locking mechanism is unable to return to its unlocked state. Pharmaceutical product enclosed within the container with the locking mechanism being in its locked state may then be disposed of in any appropriate manner (e.g., discarded in the trash).

Abstract: A medicament dispenser comprises a housing having opposing first and second walls. A connecting assembly is associated with at least one of the first and second walls to facilitate connection of the first and second walls to one another. A blister card insert configured to be movable into and out of the sleeve through the open end. A first latch element on the insert and a second latch element on the sleeve, the first and second latch elements are interengageable when the insert is fully inserted in the sleeve to latch the insert against withdrawal from the sleeve. A biasing member on the insert is configured to be in contact with the top and bottom walls of the sleeve, urging the first latch element into engagement with the second latch element. The biasing member also forming a first portion of a retaining means to prevent complete withdrawal of the insert from the sleeve and a second portion of the retaining means is formed on the sleeve for cooperation with the first portion to retain the insert against complete withdrawal from the sleeve.

After the article is lifted up by the shuttle conveying portion and moved to outside the receiving/delivery table, the article is lowered below the receiving/delivery table and made to travel under the receiving/delivery table to another receiving/delivery table.

In another embodiment of the invention, a sliding lock is carried by the container. The sliding lock may be carried inside the container or on the front wall of the container.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a packaging case of a wiper blade used to wipe a windscreen of automobiles. The wiper blade includes a wiper strip to wipe a windshield of an automobile. The packaging case includes a body having an accommodation space to accommodate the wiper blade and an opening to open the accommodation space, a cover connected pivotally to a first side of the body via a first connecting part to cover the opening, and a locking section connected pivotally to a second side of the body, opposed to the first side, via a second connecting part to be engaged with the body with one end of the cover interposed between the locking section and the body. The packaging case can protect the wiper blade from external force and prevent damage of the wiper blade during delivery and distribution, and can ensure simple, compact and tight packaging of the wiper blade.

Abstract: A sturdy container to store, transport and securely maintain a measuring device, for example, a spirit level or electronic equivalents thereof. The container comprises an elongated conduit constructed from for example, an organic polymeric material (PVC), carbon fiber, fiberglass or metal. The elongated conduit includes an interior cavity dimensioned to fully encompass one or more measuring device(s) to be securely maintained therein. A head cap assembly is generally provided at a first longitudinal end of the elongated conduit, the head cap including an aperture in communication with the interior cavity, and the aperture dimensioned to receive at least one of the measuring devices therethrough. A door is provided on the head cap and is dimensioned to lateral span the aperture when disposed in a closed position. A lockable latch is provided to maintain the door in the closed position. A locking flap (36) extends from the opposite end of the bottom panel and can be folded back over the bottom panel such that it will catch when inserted into an outer sleeve. An internal glue flap forms a barrier preventing contents inserted into the inner sleeve from inadvertently slipping out the rear end. A retaining flap (26) extends from the opposite end of the top panel and can be folded inward to create a one way gate that allows a blister pack to be inserted into the interior chamber without allowing it to be withdrawn.

Abstract: A security storage container has a primary security feature that is adapted to be locked and unlocked with an appropriate key. A secondary security feature is activated when the security storage container is opened without first unlocking the lock with the key. In one embodiment, the secondary security feature includes prongs that are moved to an extended position when the primary security feature of the container is defeated. In the extended position, the prongs will at least damage the item of merchandise protected by the security storage container. The extended position of the prongs may also further lock the item of merchandise within the security storage container.

Abstract: A security container for retaining an item of merchandise therein; said security container comprising a base, a lid, a slider within the lid, a lid hole, a slider tab extending from the slider through the lid hole, and a locking mechanism unlocked through magnetic manipulation. The slider tab is located proximate the hinged side of the lid. As a user positions a key to magnetically unlock the locking mechanism, a protrusion on the key simultaneously pushes the slider tab which unlocks internal L-shaped lock tabs from hook tabs. The slider tab is located on the hinged side of the lid for aesthetic as well as safety purposes. By hiding the security features, potential customers focus on the product within the box. Likewise, a casual thief observing from the front and sides of the container is presented with no immediate means for entry. Thus, the invention provides a more secure container for displaying upscale merchandise.

Abstract: A safe packaging container made to be folded or rolled has the opening surface thereof hidden by use of a cooperative fixing element, so that the contents loaded in the packing container are protected safely from being destroyed and that the packing container is not easy to open. The structure design can be applied to improve the conventional blister-type packaging container, which has the disadvantage of being easy to open and therefore poses a risk of accidental child ingestion. Moreover, the folded or rolled safe packaging container has a reduced volume and weight and therefore is more convenient for transporting.

Abstract: A lockable package includes an outer sleeve defined by connected first and second panels, the sleeve having at least one open end. An inner container is slidable within the sleeve, and having a first portion joined to a second portion, wherein at least one of a height and a width of the first portion is less than a corresponding height and width of the second portion. A difference between one of the height and the width of the first portion and the corresponding height and width of the second portion defines a ridge. A locking assembly is provided at the at least one open end of the sleeve and is configured to releasably engage the ridge, wherein the inner container is removable through the open end of the sleeve by disengaging the locking assembly from the ridge.

Abstract: Disclosed is a plastic or paperboard container having an interior chamber, an open end, and a closed end for receiving and securing a relatively flat packaged insert having a cut out area adapted to hook over a catch mechanism. The container comprises a top piece including a locking element and a bowing slit. The container further comprises a bottom piece that may include a guide element. The top piece and the bottom piece are attached to one another to form the container. The locking element and the guiding element are oriented within the interior chamber in such a manner as to cooperate to receive and retain the one or more inserts. The one or more inserts can be released by applying inward pressure on each side of the container causing the top and bottom pieces to bow away from one another thereby releasing the locking elements.

Abstract: A medicament dispenser can include a first side surface, a second side surface spaced from and substantially opposed to the first side surface, and a medicament packaging structure located between the first side surface and second side surface. A pivot structure can extend between the first side surface and the second side surface, and the medicament packaging structure can be rotatable about the pivot structure. Thus, the medicament packaging structure can be rotated from an enclosed state in which the medicament packaging structure is substantially enclosed by the first side surface and/or second side surface, to an exposed state in which the medicament packaging structure is substantially exposed from at least one of the first side surface and/or second side surface to provide user access to the medicament(s) stored in the medicament packaging structure.

Abstract: A see-though package for shipping and displaying bottles of beverage vertically upright. A rectangular box is provided for receiving and holding a bottle therein. The box is formed from a top and bottom panels connecting to side panels and back support slat members at the top and bottom of the box. A pair of spaced apart cylindrical rods extending from one side panel to the other on each side of the bottle neck adjacent the top of the body of the bottle immovably secures the bottle therein. At least one of the rods is removable and held in position by a retaining means such as a peg or lock abutting one side panel with the distal end of the rod abutting a socket formed in the opposing side panel.

Abstract: An improved secure package and method for producing a secure package each provide for the impression, or deformation, of opposing first and second panels regions together to define a plurality of raised impressions. The raised impressions may define at least an edge portion or the entirety of an enclosed region of the package within which items of value may be contained. The plurality of raised impressions yield an edge portion in which the first panel and second panel may not be separated, e.g. in conjunction with fraudulent tampering, without causing readily detectable damage to the edge portion. The arrangement is particularly apt for implementation in a secure transaction card packages in which a transaction card is located within the enclosed region of a package at a point-of-sale location.

Abstract: In order to lock a housing that consists of at least two parts, particularly a plug connector housing, the invention proposes a locking system that functions similar to a toggle lever mechanism. In this case, a locking plate (10) is arranged within a shell-shaped sliding element (20) to both sides of a first and a second housing half (3, 6) and movably held on bearing pins (7) on the second housing half (6), wherein latches (4) are provided on the first housing half (3) and engage into window openings (12) provided in the locking plate (10) for this purpose when the sliding element (20) is displaced into its locking position in order to hold together the two housing halves (3, 6).

Abstract: A food tray adapted to be removably located in a predetermined position in a compartment is provided having a tray body and a fixed movable stop member. The tray body includes a first end and a second end, a bottom and a sidewall structure defining a volume. The fixed movable stop member is located at one end of the tray body and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. When the tray is inserted in the compartment in the predetermined position, the fixed movable stop member is in the extended position and restrains further insertion of the tray into the compartment. A method of making a food tray in accordance with the invention is provided. Also provided is a method of storing food within a food tray to be contained in a pass-through compartment.

Abstract: A child-resistant and senior-friendly package comprising one or more blister cards housed within a hollow molded plastic sleeve is provided. The sleeve is assembled from a pair of identical molded plastic body sections. Each body section has a latch and an unlocking tab and the blister card has a latch-catcher for cooperating with the latch to automatically lock the blister card in a storage position within the sleeve. The sleeve has a pair of opposite spaced-apart tabs in the side edges thereof that must be simultaneously pressed to unlatch the latches from the latch-catchers to permit the blister card to be slid from the storage position to a dispensing position. When pressed, the tabs flex the blister card off adjacent latches. An embodiment including a pair of separate blister cards is provided in which the blister cards are dispensed through opposite dispensing ends of the sleeve.

Abstract: A locking apparatus for locking a magazine configured to receive a printed circuit board (PCB) may include an actuator, a rotating block, and a locking member. The actuator may be installed on the magazine. The rotating block may be connected to the actuator. The rotating block may be rotated about a vertical axis. The locking member may be rotatably connected to the magazine about the vertical axis. The locking member may be selectively combined with the rotating block to block a front face of the magazine, thereby preventing breakaway of the PCB from the magazine.

The bottom (38) of the base has ridges and grooves (46) to retain at least one divider (52) for pressing against the bank notes, letters, etc. The base has a chamber (60A) to receive a key lock element (34) with a tongue (90) to engage with the slot (78A), or to receive a seal element (36) having an aperture for a tamper-evident seal (102).
