Abstract: A tool container assembly includes a base container, a cover, rollers, a removable tool tray, and an extendable handle. The base container includes a storage space, and an upwardly facing opening into the storage space. The cover is movable between a closed position in which it substantially covers the upwardly facing opening and an open position in which it exposes the upwardly facing opening. The rollers are connected with the base container to enable transport of the tool container assembly. The removable tool tray is constructed and arranged to be removably carried by the base container and the tool tray is configured to store articles or tools therein. The extendable handle is operatively connected to the base container to facilitate tilted rolling transport of the tool container assembly. The removable tool tray is constructed to securely engage with the handle when the handle is in an extended position.

Container (40) has a base (42) and a lid (44) moveable with respect to the base (42) between an open position and a closed position. The lid (44) has a first planar area (54). The base has a second planar area (56). In the closed position, the first planar area (54) and the second planar area (56) include a substantially flat area suitable for receipt of an adhesive membrane, such as a self-adhesive label. The substantially flat area includes an edge (55) of the first planar area (54) and at least part of the second planar area (56).

Abstract: A lockable media storage box includes a base and a lid connected to the base with at least one hinge. The base and lid include elements that cooperate with a lock to allow the lid to be locked in the closed position. In one embodiment, the lock is received in the concave opening disposed at the front of the storage container. The lock may be unlocked with a special key or may be unlocked by destroying portions of the lock that are designed to be destroyed. In another embodiment of the invention, a sliding lock is carried by the container. The sliding lock may be carried inside the container or on the front wall of the container.

Abstract: A childproof package consists of a rectangular folding box of cardboard with at least one strip-like blister pack inside, which can be pulled out from one of the short, narrow sides of the folding box. The folding box is designed so that it can be reclosed in such a way as to be childproof again, and the folding box and the blister pack have cooperating means, which are designed so that the blister pack cannot be pulled completely out of the folding box.

Abstract: A buckle serves to fix together a lower container part and an upper container part of a thin plate storage container. The buckle includes a plate-shaped main body, an upper hook having a groove engaged with a locking plate of the upper container part, a lower hook having a groove engaged with a locking plate of the lower container part, spring mounting recesses formed at center positions of the upper hook and the lower hook, leaf springs which are fitted in the spring mounting recesses, and locking protrusions at the middle of the leaf springs and fitted into notches formed in the locking plates of the lower container part and the upper container part to position and support the lower container part and the upper container part. The upper hook and the lower hook are vertically and horizontally symmetric.

Abstract: Benefit denial systems may include a benefit denial device that secures an asset within a container. The benefit denial device may include a base member and at least one locking member. In some embodiments, portions of the asset and the container may be secured between the base and locking members. By securing the asset between the base member and the locking member, the asset may be damaged or rendered unusable if a thief attempts to remove the asset from the container.

Abstract: A bag comprising a lockable pouch and a lockable handle is disclosed. The bag comprises a locking mechanism that secures the contents of the bag by securing a sliding fastener in place. In one embodiment, the handle and sliding fastener are both secured via a common key-operated mechanism. A handle that is removal at one end allows the handle to be placed around a stationary object as to secure the bag to that object while unattended. A single control is provided conveniently to release both the sliding fastener and the handle. The handle is comprised of a flexible yet strong material, such as a metal cable.

Abstract: A cassette has a housing with a stimulable phosphor sheet stored therein, a lid mounted on an end of the housing, and an opening/closing lock mechanism mounted in the housing for locking the lid against opening and closing movement. The stimulable phosphor sheet stored in the housing is locked against displacement by a lock mechanism mounted in the housing. When the opening/closing lock mechanism is actuated to open the lid and the lock mechanism is actuated to unlock the stimulable phosphor sheet, the stimulable phosphor sheet can be removed from the housing.

Abstract: A child-resistant and senior-friendly unit dose package has a hollow container body containing a separate tray carrying a plurality of tablets or like items for being dispensed from the container body. The container body has an end with an opening, and the tray can be slid to a retracted position in which the tray is located within the container body and a dispensing position in which a proximal end part of the tray extends through the opening of the container body. The package includes a separate cap removably securable to the container body to seal the opening and prevent access to the trays. The container body can be positioned in a tray re-loading position that permits a spent tray to be removed from the container body and replaced with a new tray. Thus, the container body is reusable.

An indicator is used to indicate the status of the lock to the user. The lock is held in the unlocked position so that it cannot accidentally move back into the locked position. The lid includes a first panel having a first edge and a second edge, a second panel having a first edge and a second edge, and a third panel. The first edge of the first panel is attached to the housing at a first hinge. The first edge of the second panel is attached to the second edge of the first panel at a second hinge. The third panel is attached to the second edge of the second panel at a third hinge. The lid is positionable in a first position and a second position. When the lid is in the first position, the lid covers the open top of the housing and the first hinge and the third hinge form a virtual hinge. When the lid is in the second position, the lid forms an A-Frame over the open top such that the second panel forms a display platform. The third panel maintains the lid in the second position.

Abstract: A lockable container for securing assets that has an integral and internal locking mechanism and methods of use are provided. An illustrative lockable container may include first and second covers configured to move between an open position, which allows access to the asset, and a closed position, which encloses the asset. The locking mechanism of the lockable container may include a locking mate arrangement operatively coupled to at least one of the first and second covers, and a locking member that is configured to move between an unlocked position and a locked position. The entirety of the locking member may be internal to the container when the locking member is in the unlocked position. A magnetic key arrangement may interact with the locking member to move the locking member between the unlocked and locked positions.

Projections are formed on an outer side surface of the first case part. Each projection has a stopper hole that extends along the circumferential direction of the outer side surfaces of the case parts. U-shaped deformable pieces are formed integrally with the outer side surface of the second case part. Each deformable piece can be deformed in a direction perpendicular to the outer side surface of the second case part. A hook portion is integrally formed with a distal portion of each deformable piece. Guide portions formed at the edge of the entrance of the stopper hole. The guide portions guide the hook portion toward the stopper hole. Holding portions are formed at the edge of the exit of the stopper hole. The holding portions hold the claw portions of the hook portion.

Abstract: A tool box with a tool locking function comprises a base and a movable member for holding and storing tools. The base is provided with plural engaging portions, and the movable member is defined with plural holding holes cooperating with the engaging portions of the base. The movable member is movably disposed on the base. By such arrangements, the tool box with a tool locking function can fix the tools assuredly, and unclamp the tools by rotation to allow the tools to be taken out easily. In addition, such a tool box with a tool locking function is more advantageous in displaying, carrying and storing of the tools.

Abstract: A container includes a slidable tray and a locking sleeve. The tray is a conventional blister package, with blisters formed therein. The tray includes a slot and the sleeve includes a stop that extends through the slot to prevent the tray from sliding out of the sleeve. The sleeve includes detents that engage with holes in the tray to lock the tray in multiple positions. Manipulating a biaser releases the detents from the holes, thereby allowing the tray to slide within the sleeve.

Abstract: A method for using a lockable storage container includes the steps of moving the lock from a locked position to an unlocked position while the lock is carried by the container. An indicator is used to indicate the status of the lock to the user. The lock is held in the unlocked position so that it cannot accidently move back into the locked position. Abstract: A security storage container has a primary security feature that is adapted to be locked and unlocked with an appropriate key. A secondary security feature is activated when the security storage container is opened without first unlocking the lock with the key. In one embodiment, the secondary security feature includes prongs that are moved to an extended position when the primary security feature of the container is defeated. In the extended position, the prongs will at least damage the item of merchandise protected by the security storage container. The extended position of the prongs may also further lock the item of merchandise within the security storage container.

Abstract: A protective case that resists fractures, punctures, deformations, and other failures for use with a wildlife surveillance system is provided. The protective case includes a cooperating base and cover. The base and cover define a cavity therebetween, which houses the wildlife surveillance system. The base and cover interlock with each other, providing multi-dimensional stability of the entire assemblage. In addition, the protective case is made from a material that can endure manipulations, handling, or attacks from various wildlife animals, including, e.g., bears and others.

Abstract: Described herein is an apparatus and method for attaching a removable and reusable electronic component to a to a slide card that can be preprinted with electrical traces for the purpose of collecting data on pill expression. A removable and reusable electronic component can be coupled with a slide card incorporating preprinted electrical traces, using a hub like plastic seating component attached to and through the slide card.

Abstract: A blister card container includes a plurality of walls defining an opening and a chamber, an arm projecting into the chamber, and a yoke. The opening and chamber are sized and configured to receive at least a portion of a blister card therein. The yoke is sized and configured to be slidably received in the chamber. The yoke includes a body, a hook extending from the body, and a locking cantilever extending from the body. The hook is sized and configured to engage the blister card. The locking cantilever has a stop sized and configured to be releasably engaged with the arm. The yoke is in a locked position when the locking cantilever is engaged with the arm.

Abstract: A child-resistant but adult-friendly package package comprising a sleeve having top and bottom walls, opposite side walls, a closed end, and an open end. A blister card insert configured to be movable into and out of the sleeve through the open end. A first latch element on the insert and a second latch element on the sleeve, the first and second latch elements are interengageable when the insert is fully inserted in the sleeve to latch the insert against withdrawal from the sleeve. A biasing member on the insert is configured to be in contact with the top and bottom walls of the sleeve, urging the first latch element into engagement with the second latch element. The biasing member also forming a first portion of a retaining means to prevent complete withdrawal of the insert from the sleeve and a second portion of the retaining means is formed on the sleeve for cooperation with the first portion to retain the insert against complete withdrawal from the sleeve.

The case may further include a suspension means for preventing physical contact between an article of memorabilia and the case housing in at least one direction. The case further includes a tamper detection means to determine certain attempted accesses to a display cavity formed within the case.

Abstract: Childproof packaging (10) for a product such as matches or pharmaceutical tablets includes a sleeve (12) and a container (14) for the product within the sleeve. The package includes two pairs of latches, (20-38-42, 22-40-44) with each latch of a pair oppositely located on the package. A user must use both hands simultaneously, with a respective hand operating a respective pair of latches, to hold the latches in an unlatched condition and also simultaneously to apply pressure to the container (14) to slide it outwardly relatively to the sleeve (12). Such a two-handed, five finger operation to open the package (10) requires a dexterity that is easy for adults but very difficult for children. Each latch may be a spring arm (42, 44) mounted tab or button (38, 40) which seats in an aperture (20, 22) in the sleeve (12).

The security device may include a hinged pair of closure members, which when closed define a substantially rectangular aperture for receiving a media case to be secured with a close fit. The closure members include a latch opposite the side including the internal protrusion.

One or more plastic bags are mated with the multi-ring binding device that receive and store products. The flexible skin wrap around the mated plastic bags to protect the bags when transported. The plastic bags may include a zipper that mates with a safety lock to seal and unseal the bag. The plastic bag may contain multiple compartments that are each separately sealable with a second re-sealable seal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a security system intended to prevent theft of theft-prone items. The security system comprises a retainer means intended to be mounted against a floor and/or a wall by means of fastening means, which retainer means defines a space for a storage means provided with a handle or not provided with a handle. The retainer means comprises two mutually parallel sides connected by means of a side perpendicular to said two sides. The security system further comprises a lock means connected to a first of the two parallel sides of the retainer means by means of joint means, which lock means is provided with a hole in which a locking pin arranged on the second of the two parallel sides fits. Furthermore, the security system comprises a locking means intended to be locked on the locking pin to secure the lock means and thereby the storage means.

A biasing member is positioned between a first end of the second engagement member and the main body to provide a biasing force that biases the second engagement member into the first position. The second engagement member also includes a contact surface at a second end thereof for engagement by a user to move the second locking member against the biasing force.

Abstract: A lockable container includes a lockable sleeve and a slideable platform. The slideable platform can be stored in the lockable sleeve. The sleeve and the slideable platform can each have one or more of an engaging mechanism and a receiving mechanism, with reciprocal engaging mechanisms and/or receiving mechanisms being included at the other element. A release button can be included in the sleeve to disengage the engaging mechanism from the receiving mechanism. A deactivation tool can be provided that selectively prevents the engaging mechanism from engaging the receiving mechanism. The tool can be a stand-alone part, or can be joined to a jacket or a deactivation clip. The jacket can be slideably attached to the sleeve, and the deactivation clip can be inserted into or clipped onto the sleeve.

Abstract: A lockable storage container for disc-like information storage media is disclosed. The storage container has a cover and a disc holder. The cover of the storage container has a notch structure formed on the inner surface at an open-side thereof. The disc holder has at least a projection element disposed around the annular sidewall. The storage container is locked by conjugating the projection element and the corresponding notch structure. In order to separate the cover and the disc holder, the projection element has to be broken. Accordingly, the storage container is lockable and prevents the disc-like storage media disposed therein from being stolen.

The first and second trays are adapted for holding the at least item. A common locking mechanism engages the first and second trays to releasably lock the first and second trays in the retracted position.

An externally accessible thumb grip operatively engages the lock slide to move it between the locked and unlocked positions. An EAS tag is disposed within the device.

Abstract: A lockable package can include a case and an insert. The case and insert can collectively include engagement and receiving mechanisms to provide the lockable package with a locking feature. When the engagement and receiving mechanisms are engaged, the insert can be substantially immobilized, and access to the items stored in or on the insert can thereby be limited. The case can include a lock deactivation feature for disabling the locking feature of the lockable package. The receiving or engagement mechanisms can be included on a slideable insert for moving the mechanisms in and out of a functioning position. If the mechanisms are out of position, then the receiving and engagement mechanisms can not engage, thereby preventing the insert from being locked into the case.

Abstract: An insert package includes an insert and a container. The container is formed by assembling an upper housing member and a lower housing member, thereby creating a void bound by side walls and a closed end. The container includes rails or channels, and an open end with an engageable cover. When the cover is open, the open end provides access to the void. An insert can be passed into container through the open end. The insert is a package for storing and dispensing items, such as a blister card. The insert includes wings and the wings can include lugs or detents. The wings are designed to interface with the rails, to align the insert with the container during storage and dispensing of the items. A retainer in the container, and a retainer receiver on the insert (or vice versa) can selectively immobilize the insert. A release can disengage the insert and allow slideable movement of the insert into and out of the container.
