Abstract: A carrier for beverage containers that fits like a saddle over a handle having a predetermined length and thickness, and having an opening with a predetermined length and height. The carrier has opposing first and second saddle panels joined along a foldable hinge line. Each saddle panel is fastened to a beverage holder having at least one beverage opening. A slot extends along the hinge line and has a narrow width along opposing ends, and a larger width along an intermediate portion between the ends of the slot. The slot has a length sized to receive the handle, with the length of the intermediate slot being about twice the height of the opening in the handle.

Abstract: The invention discloses a method and an apparatus for a food container which includes an inner member (which can be a cup or a bottle) for holding a particulate food; an outer member (which can be a second cup or a second bottle) adapted to receive the inner member, with a space between the inner and the outer members, for a liquid food; where the inner member interlocks with the outer member and openings are provided for the discharge of the liquid food; and the particulate food and the liquid food can be consumed simultaneously by tilting the container towards the mouth of the user to discharge or withdraw particulate food from the inner member and liquid food from the outer member through the aperture.

Abstract: The present invention provides a small umbrella (“Beerbrella”) which may be removably attached to a beverage container in order to shade the beverage container from the direct rays of the sun. The apparatus comprises a small umbrella approximately five to seven inches in diameter, although other appropriate sizes may be used within the spirit and scope of the present invention. Suitable advertising and/or logos may be applied to the umbrella surface for promotional purposes. The umbrella may be attached to the beverage container by any one of a number of means, including clip, strap, cup, foam insulator, or as a coaster or the like. The umbrella shaft may be provided with a pivot to allow the umbrella to be suitably angled to shield the sun or for aesthetic purposes. In one embodiment, a pivot joint and counterweight may be provided to allow the umbrella to pivot out of the way when the user drinks from the container.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a packing vessel having a dual containing function which includes a vessel body for containing a snack and beverage therein, and a separation plate which is inserted into a certain portion of the vessel body, has a straw insertion portion formed in a center portion, and divides an inner space of the vessel body into a lower space in which a beverage is contained and an upper space in which a snack is contained in the packing vessel having a dual containing function for containing various snacks and beverages therein. In the present invention, the packing vessel having a dual containing function is capable of containing both beverage and snack therein. A user is capable of holding a vessel with beverage and snack, so that it is possible to enhance a user's convenience and activity. It is possible to contain two stuffs using one vessel, so that it is possible to provide a vessel to the user based on a lower cost and simple storing and management method.

Abstract: The nature of the invention is to facilitate the complete use of substances that are packaged in containers with odd or irregular shaped tops that double as the dispenser for the substance in the container. As is the rule with gravity, when a container of glue, for example, with a small cone-shaped top/dispenser is placed in storage, the glue settles to the bottom of the container. In order to use as much of the glue as possible, and do so in a timely manner (the value of which increases as the container nears empty), it becomes necessary to either lean or prop the container against a solid object while waiting for the glue to settle on the inverted top prior to dispensing, an action not always desirable or feasible. The cube-shaped invention with varying openings in each side allows for storage in the inverted position of a variety of odd-shaped top/dispenser containers; thereby, permitting easy, rapid use of the substance within a container, especially as the container nears empty.

The packaging device includes a cylindrical lid adapted to receive and retain a disc-shaped media in a water-tight compartment, which lid loaded with the disc-shaped media is then sealingly engaged to a beverage container. The lid includes a cylindrical inner structure extending from the inner surface defining central support for the media such that the media is allowed to rotate, while limiting its linear movement. The cylindrical inner structure includes an opening so as to allow the passage therethrough of a straw. A sealing member is sealed to the lid after the disc is inserted so as to seal the disc within a dry, water-tight chamber. The cylindrical lid is attached to the beverage container by means of a compression fit.

Abstract: A convenient pill delivery system comprising a container, a consumable substance contained in such container, and a specialized cap capable of receiving one or more pills. The consumable substance is forced out of the container onto the cap and surrounds and encompasses the pill. The consumer licks the pill and consumable substance together off the cap and swallows it. The consumable substance provides bulk and lubrication to the pill and aids the consumer in swallowing the pill quickly, easily, and efficiently.

Abstract: A beverage cup having a detachable saliva reservoir so that a user may enjoy a beverage and smokeless tobacco products simultaneously. The cup has a saliva conduit running from its upper extremity down to a saliva reservoir which screws on the bottom. The upper portion of the conduit is formed into a mouthpiece which allows the user to easily deposit the saliva without the risk of it contaminating the contents of the cup. The beverage within the cup and the saliva reservoir are separated by an internal bulkhead. Cleaning is facilitated by the fact that the reservoir screws off the bottom. Both the cup and the reservoir can then be placed in a dishwasher or washed by hand.

Abstract: A cover device for covering a baby bottle. The device includes a cloth bottle cover that has a closed bottom end and an open top end. A pocket is disposed on the cloth bottle cover. An audible signal generator is provided that is placed in the pocket of the cloth bottle cover. The audible signal generator creates an audible signal when press-activated. The bottle cover with the audible signal generator is advanced over a baby bottle. The bottle cover provides a medium by which a child can better grasp the bottle. Furthermore, the bottle cover insulates the bottle and absorbs drips from the bottle. The audible signal generator is activated when a child presses against the cover above the audible signal generator. As such, the use of the present invention adds visual and audible interest to a baby bottle as well as making the bottle easier to hold and use.

A tear-away strip 68 is disclosed for access into the fluid chamber 62 along with a thin wire frame 72 for adding support to the fluid container. A combined package can also include an adhesive between the containers that holds a face of the first container and a face of the second container in mutual abutment. Apparatus and methods for manufacturing such combined packages are also disclosed.

The tablet(s) in such package is stored within a sealed compartment located in a closure member (e.g. a screw cap), which functions to close the reservoir and retains the liquid within the reservoir prior to use of the tablet package. The sealed compartment for storing the tablet(s) preferably has a breakable sheet through which the tablet(s) can be ejected. More preferably, the container has separating means (e.g. a grill member) located between the breakable sheet and the reservoir to prevent the tablet(s) from entering the liquid.

Apparatus and methods for manufacturing such combined packages are also disclosed.

The present invention also includes a capsule having a body defining a cavity and an opening communicating with the cavity, a payload disposed in the cavity, sealing means for sealing the cavity which contains gas at a first pressure greater than atmospheric pressure when the cavity is sealed, and vent means for selectively venting the pressurized gas from the cavity.

The apparatus has a left side tray, a right side tray and a container section. The container section is configured to firmly hold a beverage cup while also fitting firmly inside the cup holders commonly used inside cars, trucks or any other moving vehicle such as boats, planes, and heavy moving equipment.

Abstract: A travel tray includes a flat support surface having a raised lip extending around its peripheral edge. A concave front wall is configured and dimensioned to accommodate the natural abdominal curvature of a user's torso. An aperture is formed in the support surface to receive a tapered beverage container of relatively large size. An adaptor is detachably secured to an annular raised lip that circumscribes the aperture. The adaptor reduces the diameter of the aperture so that it can accommodate a beverage container of smaller size. The adaptor ring is stored beneath the travel tray when not in use. The annular raised lip that circumscribes the aperture prevents spilled food or liquids from entering the aperture and spilling onto the user's lap. The raised lip that extends around the peripheral edge of the flat support surface provides the same function.
