Abstract: The present disclosure describes a kit for peritoneal dialysis that includes at least two bags. The kit also includes an overwrap for accommodating the at least two bags. At least one bag of the at least two bags forms at least a portion of the overwrap. According to the present disclosure, it is advantageously possible to reduce the material consumption of the overwrap, lower the cost of the kit, and reduce the amount of the disposable waste.

The receptacle 14 has a front portion 36 and the plunger 18 has a forwardly projecting sharp protrusion 42 having a shaft 72 which terminates in a sharp outer end 78, 82. Upon the plunger 18 being depressed the sharp protrusion 42 pierces a front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 and the liquid in the receptacle 14 is pushed hydraulically through the front portion 36 into the main chamber 17. Thus the liquid contacts material in the main chamber 17 to form a mixture. The plunger 18 can continue to be depressed so as to break the front portion 36 of the liquid receptacle 14 away and then push the material in the main chamber 17 towards a dispensing nozzle 26. Abstract: A capsule (1) for the preparation of infused or soluble beverages comprises a cup (2) suitable to contain a substance (11) to be infused or dissolved, provided internally with a base (33) provided with an outer edge (360) and a relief (320) between which is defined a depression (330) for the collection of the infused beverage. The capsule (1) comprises a disc (5) fixed in a peelable manner on the edge (360) so as to separate from it due to the effect of the pressure increase inside the capsule (1). The opening of the capsule (1) occurs as a result of the deformation of the disc (5) due to the pressure exerted by the fluid inside the capsule (1). Abstract: Embodiments of a multi-compartment beverage bottle system and methods of manufacturing the system are disclosed. First and second housing elements are in mutual engagement with one another to at least partially define a fluid vessel with a fluid cavity therein. The fluid cavity includes a first fluid compartment and a second fluid compartment. The first housing element is rotatable between a storage position and a mix position with respect to the second housing element. A shuttle element is disposed within the fluid cavity and axially actuatable along the main axis into and out of a seal position. Rotation of the first housing element toward the storage position actuates the shuttle element toward the seal position. Rotation of the first housing element toward the mix position actuates the shuttle element away from the seal position, thereby placing the first and second fluid compartments into fluid communication with one another for mixing.

A plunger head may be removably housed inside of a cap that is attached to a container; the cap may have an opening allowing a shaft, e.g., a probe or sipper shaft, to be inserted into the cap and into the plunger head. The shaft may be used to push the plunger head free of the cap, and then to reciprocate the plunger head within the container to mix the content. Withdrawal of the shaft may then cause the plunger head to disengage from the shaft and remain in the container.
