Abstract: A container usable for lyophilization, storage, and reconstitution of medication having only two parts, one of which is a plug component having a flow path terminating in a side outlet port and a second of which is a barrel component. The barrel component has a spiral mixing channel near its distal end in which powder medication is stored and upon reconstitution, yields a gradient concentration. The inner wall of the barrel includes a longitudinal diluent groove. To connect the plug outlet port with the longitudinal diluent groove, the plug or barrel has a 360° distribution groove encircling the plug and connecting to the plug outlet port. Regardless of what rotational orientation the plug has to the barrel, the diluent will always reach the mixing channel.

Abstract: The storage chamber for secondary material applicable to the discharging direction of contents stored in the container consists of body with storage space and inseparable operating section mounted around the globe. If above operating section moves up, opening and closing hole made or formed in the storage space of storage is opened and contents stored in the storage space is dropped and mixed with contents stored in the container. The mixed contents are discharged via a vent mounted on the top of operating section. A vent is not opened until the operating section is opened, and closing section of opening and closing hole is provided so that the opening and closing hole may not be not clogged after being opened.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a storing and dispensing cap is provided and includes a housing movably couplable to a container neck having a lip, a dispensing platform coupled to the housing, and a dispenser opening between an exterior edge of the dispensing platform and the housing. The dispenser opening is configured to be plugged by the lip of the container neck when the housing is coupled to the container neck, and the dispenser opening is configured to be unplugged when the housing is not coupled to the container neck. A storing and mixing system including such a cap, and a method of storing and mixing using such a cap are also provided.

Abstract: A package for a dental material comprises a compartment for holding a first substance of the dental material and an open reservoir at least partially formed by a wall of the package. The package is adapted such that the compartment and the reservoir are connectable for fluid communication. The reservoir accommodates a second substance of the dental material retained at a surface of the reservoir wall. The package preferably enables easy mixing of the dental material from the first and second substance, thus preferably facilitate a preparation and use of the dental material.

Abstract: Described herein is a chambered container that allows for the mixture of two liquids in a specific ratio that includes first and second chambers for storing liquid. Graduated portions are found on the container in order to accurately measure the amount of fluid in each of the chambers. The container may also have a coating of non-slip material.

Abstract: The invention comprises a novel apparatus for delivering a nutritive substance comprising a container body having a base at one end, an upper portion adapted for removable receipt of a closure, the upper portion defining an opening therein, and a chamber defined by the container body, the chamber being in fluid communication with the opening. A laminate seal having at least two layers is bonded across the opening and is adapted to provide an airtight seal across the opening and prevent contact between said nutritive substance and the contents of said container until said seal is altered. The laminate seal comprises a first layer permanently bonded to a rim defining the opening in the upper portion and a second layer that is releasably coupled to the first layer. A nutritive substance is bonded to the first layer. The container additionally comprises a closure removably coupled to the upper portion.

Abstract: This invention relates to extend the benefits of using hypochlorite compounds such as sodium hypochlorite to clean and disinfect articles while reducing or eliminating the side effects of treating an article with a strong oxidant material. The invention relates to a single step process involving mixing of precursor compositions of a suitable hypohalite or hypohalous acid with a solution of a reducing agent. Optionally a boiler may be present in either or both precursor compositions, such that at time of use such active hypohalous acid concentration, in the resulting aqueous mixture remains at a sufficient activity level to effect one or more desired benefits against a target substrate for a desired period of time. The oxidant is substantially consumed by reaction with the reducing agent after the time needed for achieving the desired benefit has passed.
