Printed graphic cards may be inserted between the rigid plastic holders and covers of clear, flexible cover material. The clear cover material is formed into a clear pocket attached at the opening edge of the rigid cover and base. Alternatively, printed graphic cards are adhered to the outer rigid holders by placing adhesive on the cover and base holders but not on the spines. Also, a clear pocket may be attached to the spine of a stack of rigid holders with a printed graphic insert sliding into the pocket.

    Abstract: A combination compact disc holder and informational booklet comprising a cover and a plurality of pages, the cover and pages being made of substantially rectangular paper sheets, the cover being of heavier stock and including at least one pocket having such size and shape as to retain a compact disc therein, and the pages being of lighter stock and carrying printed information concerning the content of the compact disc stored in the at least one pocket, the pages being folded and sewn along a fold line and the cover being glued to an outer surface of an outermost page.

Such an identifier or marking agent thus may be utilized in conjunction with a transparent holding case whereby the needed light source may be exposed through the transparent walls thereof to permit detection of counterfeit or authentic discs without requiring opening of the case itself. Such a method may also be utilized for discs that are removed from or have not been placed and sealed within such a case as well.
