Abstract: This invention relates to an over-sized box-like container adapted to carry diverse, and often collapsed or unassembled household items, including furniture, accessories and art objects suitable to fully furnish one room. More particularly, this invention relates to an over-sized box-like container of the type described where the box itself, upon being disassembled, may be used to create one or more pieces of furniture.

Abstract: A container includes a housing having an open top and a lid attached to the housing. The lid includes a first panel having a first edge and a second edge, a second panel having a first edge and a second edge, and a third panel. The first edge of the first panel is attached to the housing at a first hinge. The first edge of the second panel is attached to the second edge of the first panel at a second hinge. The third panel is attached to the second edge of the second panel at a third hinge. The lid is positionable in a first position and a second position. When the lid is in the first position, the lid covers the open top of the housing and the first hinge and the third hinge form a virtual hinge. When the lid is in the second position, the lid forms an A-Frame over the open top such that the second panel forms a display platform. The third panel maintains the lid in the second position.

In this embodiment, at least one of the first portion or the third portion is configured to be removably coupled to the electrical device. Additionally, when the case placed in an open configuration, the first portion is capable of being located over the fifth portion with the bottom surface of the first portion adjacent to the interior surface of the fifth portion.

Abstract: The invention provides a symmetrical, corrugated fibreboard blank which can be folded into an insert configured to be received within a shipping container. A product can be protected and secured by the insert. The symmetrical design results in ease and speed of assembly regardless of the orientation of the blank along the end user's packaging assembly line. The 5-sided shape of the insert produces void spaces that the products cannot reach, thus creating natural air cells within the insert. The ends, tabs and panels of the insert also provide for minimal movement of the product within the insert and further provide layers of cushioning upon impact. The insert can secure a variety of different sized products, is environmentally friendly, inexpensive and space-saving.

Abstract: A package includes an article group formed of cylindrical articles disposed on their sides in a side-by-side parallel fashion, and a carton disposed around the group. The carton includes a top wall, opposed side walls, end walls and an article dispenser. The side walls are disposed alongside the ends of the articles while one end wall is disposed adjacent to the side wall of an endmost article. The dispenser is formed from the end and top walls and includes at least one retaining panel to hold all the articles in the carton until removed by the user. Removal of the articles is assisted by a gravity feed stand included in the carton which when implemented promotes the gravity feed of the articles toward the dispenser for convenient access and removal from the carton by a user.

Abstract: A storage container with retractable stands has a body and two stand assemblies. The body has a front surface, a rear surface and multiple slots. The slots are formed in the front and rear surfaces. Each stand assembly has multiple props. Each prop is mounted pivotally in a corresponding slot. The props are pivoted to stand on the ground to stand the storage container off the ground for increased convenience. When the props are held in the slots, the props are completely received in the slots to avoid additional storage volume.

Abstract: A convertible holder for enclosing a consumer article formed by at least two combinable pieces forming an enclosure wherein at least one combinable piece may be converted from forming a part of the enclosure to a support base that attaches to another combinable piece at a transverse angle and the other combinable piece continues to partially enclose the article. The combination of base and enclosing pieces supporting the article at a height above a base surface.

Abstract: A food package is provided that includes a rigid plastic base tray having a plurality of compartments and being covered by a flexible film which is air tightly sealed to flanges of the tray to hermetically seal the respective compartments. The tray is constructed and arranged to stand-up on at least one of its four sides.

The case includes a space defined therein for containing tools, an inclined face formed thereon, at least one engagement unit formed on the inclined face and at least one block formed thereon. Abstract: An improved blister package construction is provided. The inventive blister package construction allows for different visual presentations of the packaged products that would otherwise not be achievable with conventional blister packages. The blister package of the invention has one or two thermoplastic blisters designed and positioned on a backing card such that, when the card is folded along a transverse score line, the one or two blisters will lock together and the backing card will be formed into an “L” shaped configuration.

Abstract: A display container adjustable between an enclosed position and a display position is disclosed, having a tray and a cover. The cover includes a display panel, a base, and at least one positioning tab. The positioning tab is configured to engage a back wall of the tray so as to keep the display panel positioned at a predetermined downward angle relative to the back wall for easy reading of a display label having product information, when the display container is in the display position.

Abstract: A toolbox includes first and second toolbox parts that are coupled pivotably to each other. Each of the first and second toolbox parts has first and second end openings that open in directions transverse to each other. The first and second toolbox parts are pivotable relative to each other between a first position, where the first end openings in the first and second toolbox parts open in the same direction and where the second end opening in said first toolbox part is registered with the second end opening in the second toolbox part, and a second position, where the first end openings in the first and second toolbox parts open away from each other.

Abstract: The invention provides a reading stand. The reading stand may include a base including a base member case. Further, the reading stand may include a reading lid disposed upon the base member case, the reading lid including a reading platform having a front side and a backside; and at least one page holder adjustably mounted on the reading platform so as to assist in retaining a document on the front side of the reading platform. Further, a support member is provided. The support member extends from the backside of the reading platform, and is adapted to engage with the base so as to support the reading lid upon the base. For example, the support member may be in the form of a side support clip that substantially vertically supports the reading lid upon the base for side reading.

Abstract: A convertible weight device case and a method of using same, the convertible weight device case including a first shell having a plurality of compartments sized to receive weight devices therein, a second shell, and at least one hinge pivotably connecting the first shell to the second shell to allow the first shell and the second shell to be rotated about the hinge relative to each other between a closed configuration and a rack configuration. In the closed configuration, the first shell and the second shell are interfaced together so that the second shell impedes access to the weight devices received in the plurality of compartments of the first shell. In the rack configuration, the first shell and the second shell are angled upright with the hinge elevated above a floor level so that access to the plurality of compartments of the first shell is provided.

Abstract: A portable carrier includes a base housing and a cover member secured to the base housing. The base housing is provided with an internal cavity defined by a bottom wall and an enclosing wall extending substantially upwardly from the bottom wall. The cover member is adapted for selectively reconfiguring the portable carrier between a first, closed position preventing access to the internal cavity and a second, open position providing access to the internal cavity. The cover member is dimensioned to closely conform an outer peripheral surface of the base housing so that in the second position the cover member is nested under the base housing over and around the outer peripheral surface thereof. The portable carrier further includes a child-resistant locking device provided for preventing the portable carrier from being open.

Abstract: An instrument case is disclosed having a case body having a top edge. A cover fits over the case body and has a top inner and outer edge. A hinge, having two axes of rotation, connects the cover to the case body. One axis is substantially coincident with the edge of the of the case body and the other axis is substantially coincident with either edge of the top of the cover. When the cover is rotated to an open position, the cover supports the case body and allows the case to function as an instrument stand.

Abstract: The present invention is a multi-functional box that serves as packaging, calendar stand, and as storage/carrying case. Whereas the commonly known “boxed calendars” that are currently available in the marketplace are comprised of an outer carton for packaging that is thrown away, a bound pad of paper, and a plastic calendar stand that may also be discarded, the present invention quickly and conveniently opens from its closed and locked storage/transport position to become a tilt back calendar stand for a daily calendar or pad of paper. The calendar stand can be quickly closed back into its original closed position and secured with a locking system. Stored within the box are loose sheets of paper that comprise the calendar. Further, each calendar page may provide an activity function through the present invention, that is either allowed or improved through its use of unbound pages, self-storage of said pages, and the ability to easily insert ancillary items necessary for certain activities.

Abstract: A sterilization case in which the upper portion of one side of the case functions as a door having a hinge that is positioned horizontally with respect to the height of the case. When the case is closed, the surgical instruments are held securely in position, resting against an internal tray. When the door of the case is opened, the internal tray is raised, thus making the instruments more accessible by elevating them to a position above the top of the open case. The door swings downward to form an angle with the lower portion of the case, acting as a support so that the open case can stand in an upright position. When the door is closed, the internal tray is lowered and the instruments automatically retract into the case. Holes in the front and back covers of the instrument case allow the instruments within the case to be sterilized without removing them from the case.

Abstract: A portable tool case is disclosed that may be displayed in numerous orientations using a cover member of the tool case as a support. The cover member that may be rotated into a support position to support the tool case on a surface. The cover member may comprise a pair of covers that are manipulated into an easel, display or table orientation.

Abstract: A container converts into a display tray, wherein the container has a base, a removable lid and a single tear line crossing the removable lid and dividing the lid into two sections of unequal size. The display tray is created by inverting the container and tearing the tear line, physically dividing the lid, whereupon both the smaller section of the lid and the base are removed and discarded, leaving the inverted, larger section of the lid as the display tray.

Abstract: An open-ended container for holding dental instruments includes a body and a lid. The lid is configured to close the container when the lid is placed over the open end of the container. The lid is also configured for stabilizing the container in an upright position when the lid is placed over the bottom of the container. The lid is flared and generally provides greater support to the container for standing upright than does the bottom of the container. A piece of tape is used to seal and reseal the lid on the container. A foam material (e.g., open cell foam) housed within the container is used to hold dental instruments. A disinfecting solution contained within the container disinfects any dental instruments held therein.

Abstract: A knife block to store and protect sharpened kitchen knives is suggested. The knife block includes a base and a pivotable tray connected together by a adjustable coupling system. The base includes a plurality of apertures therein that are to receive the blades of sharpened kitchen knives. The pivotable tray is configurable to change the geometry and functionality of the knife block from a folded configuration to a straight configuration. In the folded configuration, the knife block is easily deployed upon a counter top in an upright position. In the straight configuration, the knife block can be deployed upon a horizontal or vertical surface, for example upon a wall or within a drawer.

Abstract: A storage box for a portable electronic apparatus includes a box body and a cover. The box body has a first accommodation space and a second accommodation space therein. The first accommodation space has a first connector therein. The cover has a second connector therein that is connected to the first connector. The two accommodation spaces provide for receipt of a portable electronic apparatus and a foldable keyboard.

Abstract: A flat display case that can serve as a seat member includes a lower seat and an upper cover having similar shapes, each of which has a bottom wall, a relatively low front wall, a relatively high rear wall, and two side walls connecting the front and rear walls. Outer walls of the bottom walls of the upper cover and the lower seat are provided with inter-connectable stacking members such that, when the upper cover is disposed on top of the lower seat in an opposite direction, a rectangular case is formed. When the upper cover and the lower seat are disposed back-to-back and oriented in the same direction, projecting posts can engage post holes to enable a display disposed therein to have an inclination.

Abstract: A display stand comprising a body formed by two shells and a platform plate for supporting to display an article. The plate has opposite sides, and the shells are pivotably connected to the plate. Each shell includes a pair of opposed walls to define an open hollow structure which embraces a respective opposite side of the plate and has a pair of first and second adjoining open flat sides extending at substantially 90° to each other. The shells are pivotable between a first position in which their first open sides are closed by the plate and a second position in which their second open sides are closed by the plate.

Abstract: A storage and display container for the storage and display of small articles such as jewelry includes a base or display unit and a cover removably received on the base or display unit. The base or display unit includes first and second display areas, one for the article and one for the indicia bearing material relating to the article. The cover for removably closing off the display unit is provided with a tapered top wall so that it can be removed from the display unit, inverted and have the display unit replaced in its open end. The cover has a tapered top wall so that, when inverted, it will support the display unit at an angle to one viewing it. A modified form of the invention includes a slot in the wall of the display unit for receipt of a transport, storage and display package which carries the indicia bearing material. The package has a pocket for receipt of the article for transport and storage when the article is not being displayed.

Abstract: A storage and multi-positional display apparatus, particularly suited to dental equipment and materials, is disclosed. The apparatus includes a cover having individual rigid segments which are hinged together, with a storage tray secured to one of the segments. The apparatus can be transformed from a storage position wherein the segments are folded to form an enclosure surrounding the tray and protecting its contents, into one of many angled display positions wherein the tray is exposed. The angled positions mount the tray at an angular orientation best suited to the particular user performing a particular dental procedure, while the cover and tray provide for aseptic conditions and minimized cross-contamination of the dental equipment and material.

Abstract: A case for rod-shaped objects has at least one receptacle, a closure part, and a first hinge, wherein the first hinge articulates the receptacle and the closure part relative to one another. Abstract: A musical instrument stand holds at least one and preferably a number of musical instruments by a supporting structure that partly includes the structure of a case having top and bottom halves that are hinged together. The top and bottom halves are pivoted open to place the top half in a substantially vertical position where the top half holds a supporting yoke for holding an instrument, such as the neck of a guitar resting against a pad in the bottom half. A frame mounted to the case has two vertical legs mounted on the top half and a laterally extending support between the legs. Each leg is pivotally fastened in spaced relation to the other and is pivoted down for storage in the case or up to hold the lateral support and the instrument(s). In the pivoted-up position the legs snap resiliently into cutouts in a front edge of the top half, which provides part of the structural support for the instrument. The lateral support is coupled to and extends between the two legs at a selectable height.

Abstract: The present invention provides a generally box-shaped case having a removable cover and a base being made of lightweight, yet durable material The removable cover has a sunken-handle located on a top portion and a means for securely attaching the removable cover to the base. The base has an inside portion which is divided into five compartments, with three of the compartments extending on a front to back axis along side of and parallel to each other, and the fourth and fifth compartments extending from side to side along the rear of the base. A removable rod is provided extending from side to side in the interior of the base. The base has a front portion which has three holes therethrough and a measuring device.
