Securement members on the first and second panels mate with one another to hold the panels together such that the saw blades are sandwiched between the panels. At least one foot is coupled with the panels to enable the panels to stand with respect to a surface.

Abstract: The present invention is a disc media storage and retrieval system for safely and efficiently storing and conveniently retrieving specific disc media from a plurality of disc media stacked on a central column or spindle. Modified disc media are rotationally aligned on the spindle using corresponding alignment protrusion(s) formed on the spindle and notch(es) on the inner chuck hole of the disc. Accordingly, disc media is further modified with the addition of indexing notches on the outer circumference of the disk, such that each disc within the system is provided a unique notched-index. The aligned stack is protected by a cover member that forms a disc lifting device. A disc of interest is indexed and retrieved from the stack by rotating the cover member relative to the disc stack thereby aligning the disc notch-index with the lifting device. When the cover member is raised, the lifting device separates the stack at the disc of interest.

Abstract: A packaging device is provided for packaging at least one disc-shaped item such as a CD-ROM or a DVD. The packaging device includes a first member for the storage of disc-shaped media in a chamber or cavity, which container may be attached to storage devices of various shapes and sizes for the storage of materials other than the disc-shaped media. The chamber includes means for maintaining the disc-shaped media in a stable state within the chamber, such that the disc-shaped media is allowed to rotate, while limiting the linear movement of the disc-shaped media both perpendicular to and parallel to the plane of the media. The disc-shaped media may be sealed within the inner chamber by means of either a circular protective element or by means of a complementary cap or lid adapted to engage the first member. The first member is attached to the storage device by means of engagement of the first member with the top of or cover to the package or packages.

Abstract: Benefit denial systems for securing an asset within a container and methods of use are provided. Such benefit denial systems of the present invention may include a benefit denial device that secures the asset within the container. The benefit denial device may include a base member and at least one locking member, and the asset may be secured therebetween. By securing the asset between the base member and a locking member, the asset will be rendered unusable if a thief attempts to remove the asset from the container. For example, if the asset is a storage medium such as a DVD, then the DVD will break if the thief attempts to remove the DVD from the confines of the benefit denial device.

Means provide for simple one time release of the circular saw blade from the packaging. Means provide for securement of a security tag relative to the packaging where ready undetectable tampering by the consumer with the security tag is prevented. Sonic welding is disclosed as the preferred method of both securing the circular saw blade relative to the packaging and securing a closure of a security tag compartment with a security tag contained therein.

The case has a pair of wings with a hinge joint for allowing the wings to swing between an open and a closed condition. The wings in the closed position are adapted to releasably hold the disc at a predetermined disc location between the wings with clearance at the periphery of the disc. This clearance allows loading and unloading of the disc in the open condition without interference. The wings have at least a pair of members for encaging the disc in order to impede removal of the disc in any direction around any one of the members. In the closed condition the members extend from the inwardly facing surface of one of the wings, transversely past the predetermined disc location, to a position at the inwardly facing surface of the other wing, in order to prevent removal of the disc. The pair of members are positioned to avoid overhanging the disc.

Abstract: A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to the present invention includes a fixed clamp and at least a resilient clamp formed on a carrier. The fixed clamp and the resilient clamp are formed on opposite positions along a longitudinal direction on at least one side of the carrier for holding the rim of the disc by resilient force of the resilient clamp. The resilient clamp locates against the insertion direction of the optical disc so as to be moved for receiving the disc when being pressed, and retrieve to a normal position for fastening the disc in place by incorporating with the fixed clamp.

The display device includes a main header which extends beyond the top of the product being packaged and folds over onto itself and snaps together to trap a printed insert display card within a display chamber. The header portion includes performed hang holes for use with various merchandising systems including pegboard. The second thermoformed header piece consists of a flat sheet that slips through the belt loop portion of the product being packaged and is fastened to the main header by means of plastic push-type fasteners to securely fasten the two pieces together and to allow the header area to stand above the product.

The rigid member moves axially in relation to the ring-shaped object when the ring-shaped object is inserted in the slot. In the locked position, the rigid member protrudes into the cavity of the ring-shaped object. In the unlocked position, the rigid member is outside the cavity of the ring-shaped object. The container may further include a mount which releasably attaches to the ring-shaped object. The rigid member of the lock device secures the ring-shaped object inside the slot by pinning down the mount which is attached to the ring-shaped object.

One using the hanger places container wall structure in the slot by inserting the third hanger course into the open end of the container.
