Abstract: The presently disclosed subject matter relates to packaging for products (such as fresh red meat) that are enclosed between a support member and a lid (i.e., a film). More specifically, the presently disclosed subject matter relates to packaging comprising an elevation unit that raises the profile of the packaged product to contact the lid at any desired time, such as at the time of retail display.

Abstract: A tray, as described herein, includes one or more ribs that increase the stacking or compressive strength of the tray and advantageously direct vertical compressive stacking forces to the relatively stronger portions of the tray. Specifically, the ribs direct the compressive stacking forces from the intermediate portions of the sidewall downward and outward toward the adjacent corners. The ribs can have an at least partially curvilinear shape between the intermediate portion of the sidewall and the adjacent corner thereof, such as having an intermediate generally bell-shaped region such that a vertex of the concave region is higher on the sidewall than where its legs intersect the corners of the tray. In another or alternative form, the tray can include one or more gripping portions that facilitate a user holding onto the tray.

Abstract: A bakery tray includes a base. A front wall extends upward from a front edge of the base. Side walls extend upward from side edges of the base. A rear wall extends upward from a rear edge of the base. The rear wall includes an inner panel portion and an outer lip portion that protrudes outward and then downward from an uppermost edge of the inner panel portion. A plurality of ribs connect the inner panel portion to the outer lip portion. In one feature, the plurality of ribs may include an increased concentration of the ribs in the center of the tray.

Abstract: The group of inventions relates to the food industry, more specifically to embodiments of a packaging for pre-portioned confectionery goods consisting of one or a number of portions. A packaging for confectionery goods consisting of a number of portions comprises a lid and a base that is provided with at least one raised flat section for holding trays corresponding to the number of portions of the goods in question. Each tray has a means for the removal thereof from the packaging, in the form, for example, of a tongue situated on the side that faces the edge of the packaging base, and at least one tray anchoring projection with a widened part is provided on the base between each pair of adjacent trays.; Furthermore, pairs of projections may be provided along the edges of the raised section to restrict the movement in a horizontal plane both of the tongues and of the trays with the confectionery goods.

Abstract: A product package is presented that has a sliding tray disposed within a sleeve. Both the sleeve and the tray have a tab on their top portions through which is positioned a hang-hole. The hang-holes in these two tabs align when the tray is inserted into the sleeve, allowing a display hanger to pass through the hole in both tabs. The tray also has a structure with an overhang portion that extends beyond a side wall of the tray. The overhang portion is positioned to abut the edge of the sleeve when the tray is fully inserted into the sleeve to prevent the tray from passing too far into, or even through the sleeve.

Abstract: A tray for holding a food product includes a plurality of panels extending around an interior of the tray. The plurality of panels includes at least a central panel, at least one side panel foldably connected to the central panel, and at least one end panel foldably connected to the central panel along an arcuate fold line. The central panel forms a curved bottom surface of the tray.

Abstract: Described herein is a 100% biodegradable molded pulp food tray. In one embodiment, the tray has a base and side walls extending upward from the base, each side wall comprising an upper edge and a flange extending from the upper edge toward a perimeter in a visualized cross-section plane, wherein the base and the side walls are integrally formed of molded pulp. Each upper edge may intersect with a visualized vertical axis that is perpendicular to the visualized cross-section plane to define an angle of draw of about 13 degrees to be structurally viable for the molded pulp. In related aspects, the tray may be made from bleached Bagasse pulp or the like, and may be freezer/refrigerator safe, as well as microwavable.

Abstract: A loading device includes a number of stacked loading plates and a fixing assembly. Each loading plate is used for loading a number of elements. The fixing assembly fixes the loading plates together. Each loading plate includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A number of spacer blocks protrude from the first surface, forming an interval between two adjacent loading plates. Each loading plate defines a number of through holes passing through the first surface and the second surface. A number of blocks are positioned on the second surface. Each through hole is surrounded by at least three blocks. Each of the at least three blocks has an arc surface facing a corresponding through hole. The arc surfaces of the at least three blocks cooperatively define a groove communicating with the corresponding through hole.

Abstract: A repulpable and recyclable case ready food tray is disclosed for carrying various food items, such as meat, poultry and produce that is typically used for retail display. The food tray is formed from paperboard made from natural wood fiber that is coated to provide a waterproof food cavity for preventing leakage of liquid from the food item and a moisture proof exterior support surface which allows excess liquid to be released from the food tray during the manufacturing process while providing a moisture proof surface to prevent wicking of liquid into the food tray if the tray is placed on a wet surface.

Abstract: A tray having at least one sidewall having a top edge, an interior surface, an exterior surface, and a bottom surface adjacent to the sidewall. The bottom surface and the interior surface combine to form a product receiving space of the tray. The tray has an injection-molded feature having an anchor portion and a flange portion. The anchor portion is adjacent the interior surface of the at least one sidewall, and the flange portion extends from the anchor portion and is adjacent the top edge of the at least one sidewall.

Abstract: A loading device includes a number of stacked loading plates and a fixing assembly. Each loading plate is used for loading a number of elements. The fixing assembly fixes the loading plates together. Each loading plate includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A number of spacer blocks protrude from the first surface, forming an interval between two adjacent loading plates. Each loading plate defines a number of through holes passing through the first surface and the second surface. A number of blocks are positioned on the second surface. Each through hole is surrounded by at least three blocks. Each of the at least three blocks has an arc surface facing a corresponding through hole. The arc surfaces of the at least three blocks cooperatively define a groove communicating with the corresponding through hole.

Abstract: A feeding station system for organizing and preventing bowls and the like from being turned over or moved about as a person or an animal eats. The system includes a mat having an upper surface with planar fastening areas, where each planar fastening area is fitted with a hook or loop planar fastener. The system includes a vessel having a floor with a lower surface appropriately fitted with a layer of hook or loop fasteners which will fasten to complementary hook or loop fasteners on the mat. In the system a reversible bond between the mat and the vessel is attained when the vessel's layer of hook or loop fasteners is pressed against the mat's hook or loop planar fasteners, causing complementary fasteners to form a reversible bond. The reversible bond can be broken by peeling the vessel away from the mat.

The film is obtained by coextrusion, optional irradiation, orientation and annealing at a temperature of from 70 to 90° C.

Abstract: The present invention is a slip-resistant tray for placement on a table, counter or high chair surface, wherein the tray provides a high friction surface cover that can be easily stowed and deployed. The tray is of unitary construction having a top eating and play surface and a textured, high friction bottom surface that grips the underlying surface and does not cause damage thereto. The tray also provides a raised peripheral edge to prevent articles from rolling from the tray while deployed. The tray itself is a reusable, highly durable, liquid impermeable and easily cleaned and sanitizable structure that is made from a flexible material such that the tray is bendable, foldable or rollable to allow the tray to take on a compact configuration that is convenient for storage and transportation. In the operative position, the oil catch tray is constructed and arranged to collect oil that drips from the door structure and the one wall when the door structure is removed from the one wall.

A cassette magazine receives at least one cassette having at least one sample block. A slide magazine receives at least one specimen slide. At least one connecting element for connecting the cassette magazine and the slide magazine mechanically with each other is provided. This allows handling at least one cassette and at least one specimen slide together in a simple and efficient manner.

Abstract: A resealable package integrity closure includes a film layer forming a top of a container and a flap defining an access opening. A sealing panel completely covers the flap of the film layer. A releasable adhesive is provided on either or both the film layer and the sealing panel for adhering the sealing panel to the film layer. The sealing panel is releasable from the film layer by pulling the sealing panel back in a peeling direction and reclosable against the top to seal the access opening when the sealing panel is moved back against the top. A coating of transferable material is provided on either the sealing panel or on the film layer, which is transferable therebetween to provide a visual indication that the closure has been previously opened.

Abstract: A wrap for a microwavable container, such as a cup with a removable lid, the wrap having a separable hinged portion to allow the lid of the container to be removed. The separable portion can then be returned to its original position, and the wrap and enclosed container heated in a microwave oven. During heating, the wrap remains relatively cool to the touch, so that the wrap and container can be removed from the oven by grasping the wrap, without contacting the hot exterior of the container.

Abstract: Liquid collector trays (5) are disclosed for use in vertical towers (7) in which vapor (9) moves upward and liquid (11) moves downward. The liquid collector trays (5) employ elongated plates (13) which in certain embodiments include a primary liquid collector trough (15) and a secondary liquid collector trough (17). In other embodiments, the primary liquid collector troughs (15) of adjacent plates (13) are aligned so as to form elongated, inwardly-tapering entrance channels (29) which are free of sharp corners. In further embodiments, when the liquid collector tray (5) is in its operative orientation and is viewed from above, each plate (13) includes first and second concave surfaces (31, 33), which collect liquid, and third and fourth convex surfaces (35, 37), which are adjacent to the first and second concave surfaces (31, 33) and serve to mechanically stabilize the plate (13).

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system, apparatus, and method for a modular food tray system having a plurality of food trays that can be used for heating, cooling, or a combination thereof. The system can include a first food tray for heating and a second food tray for cooling, generally mounted at a different elevation from the first food tray. Alternatively, one or both of the food trays can be designed for cooling through temperature elements coupled thereto and the tray can be heated by overhead radiant heating elements for dual temperature capabilities. Abstract: A mobile cart for the heating or rethermalization of comestible items at two separate temperatures. A plurality of trays are disposed on a corresponding plurality of shelves within the cart. As each tray is slid onto the shelf, a thermal barrier bifurcates the space above the tray into portions. Each tray is also coupled to a socket disposed within the cart which supplies power to at least two filaments inside the tray, one filament comprising means for obtaining a higher temperature than the remaining filaments. The filaments heat one portion of each tray while the other portion, partitioned by the thermal barrier, is disposed within a portion of the cart which is maintained at or around 0° C. by a conventional refrigerator. Comestible items may then be disposed on either portion of the tray according to temperature preference, the tray and cart maintaining and rethermalizing the comestible items at the chosen temperature for an extended period of time.

The containment mat may be used to prevent spills during refueling of vehicles.

Abstract: A food pan is configured for use with a serving station having wells within which to support the food pan. The food pan includes a bottom, a side wall, a rim, and four corner structures. The bottom has a substantially rectangular periphery. The side wall is connected to the bottom, and projects from the rectangular periphery of the bottom in an upward direction. Together, the bottom and side wall form a volume configured to support contents of the food pan. The rim is connected to the side wall on an end of the side wall opposite to the bottom, and extends from the side wall in an outward direction away from the volume formed by the side wall and the bottom. The cross-section of the rim further includes an ascending portion connected to the side wall, a top portion connected to the ascending portion, and a descending portion connected to the top portion. The ascending and descending portions are rounded.

Abstract: The present invention provides a substrate carrying mechanism, a substrate processing apparatus, and a semiconductor device manufacturing method that, when carrying a substrate, suppress the generation of scratches and particles caused by substrate deformation, suppress a decrease in substrate holding force due to substrate deformation, and realizes stable high-speed carriage. Namely, the substrate carrying mechanism, the substrate processing apparatus, and the semiconductor device manufacturing method of the present invention include: a plate-like body that becomes a support base body of a substrate that is a carrying subject; and substrate support portions in which plural convex portions disposed on a surface of the plate-like body are placed on a circumference of a circle that is smaller than the diameter of the substrate.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a lipped tray, intended for use on scaffold towers and adapted to hold builders' tools in use. The tray incorporates on each of its two opposite side edge regions a means which, when the tray is in use, locates the tray between horizontally successive rails of the tower in a manner which also causes the tray to engage with one at least of those rails and be supported, in use, by each of them.

Abstract: A pan apparatus for a merchandiser including a case having a platform defining an opening. The pan apparatus includes a bottom wall and a plurality of sidewalls cooperating with the bottom wall to define a space for supporting product in the pan. At least two of the sidewalls each includes a frame engagement member adjacent a top of the pan. The pan apparatus also includes a frame positioned adjacent a top of the sidewalls and coupled to the frame engagement members. The frame extends along at least two sidewalls of the pan and is configured to engage the platform adjacent the opening to suspend the pan. The frame defines a plurality of holes spaced along at least a portion of the perimeter such that an airflow from below the pan is directed upward along the sidewalls and discharged through the frame via the holes to condition the product.

Abstract: A suspended tray apparatus for avoiding spillage while carrying a single open container of liquid such as a mug of coffee or a cup of tea. The apparatus of the present invention is comprised of a tray on which the beverage is placed and a rigid element extending from the side of the tray and curved such that the outer end is centered above the tray and container; a hole or other method of attaching a cord or chain to the upper end of the rigid element, allowing the tray to hang from a loop or handle, held by a person, at the upper end of the chord or chain.

Abstract: A firework launching platform apparatus includes a panel that has a top side, a bottom side and a peripheral edge. The panel has a plurality of apertures therein extending into the top side and outwardly of the bottom side. The apertures receive a body of a firework to support the firework in an upright manner. The apertures include primary apertures and secondary apertures. Each of the primary apertures is positioned adjacent to the peripheral edge of the panel. A plurality of channels is positioned in the bottom side of the panel. The channels each extend through the peripheral edge and into one of the primary apertures. Each of the primary apertures is linked by at least one of the channels to the peripheral edge.

Abstract: A preferred embodiment of a packaging device comprises a lid that is slidably engaged to a tray having a compartment for holding processed sliced meats. The packaging device further includes a manually releasable lid lock for re-sealing the packaging device after use. Also provided in a preferred embodiment of the packaging device is a support foot for stabilizing the package during stacking or vertical display.

Abstract: The liquid-overflow platform and container device includes a generally horizontal platform for catching overflow liquid from a small appliance, such as a coffee maker, and a container attached beneath the platform that receives the liquid flowing through apertures in the platform. The apertures are less than 10% of the platform area. The platform may be topographically structured to encourage liquid to drain into the apertures, and is larger than the footprint of the appliance. The container is sized to contain more than the liquid capacity of the small appliance. The device is removable from beneath the appliance for carrying to an appropriate place to empty the contents, preferably by tipping the device to drain the liquid through platform corner apertures. The device may be separate from, and not connected to, the appliance, or may be sold as a connected but removable portion of the appliance.

The system has a packaging tray having a tray bottom and two substantially straight side walls coupled to the tray bottom. The tray has two curved end walls wherein each of the curved end walls are coupled to the tray bottom and the side walls wherein a first end wall curves toward the interior of the packaging tray and a second end wall curves away from the interior of the packaging tray. The tray has a border connected to a top edge of the two side walls and the two end walls thereby forming a perimeter around the top of the walls. The tray has a storage compartment formed in the border for storing the food accessory.

Abstract: A child-resistant package includes a rectangular tray having a pair of sidewalls, a pair of laterally opposed spring arms extending from the sidewalls, a finger tab on each spring arm and a locking lug adjacent to each finger tab. A rectangular shell has an open front end, a pair of sidewalls, a slot extending longitudinally along each of the sidewalls and terminating short of the open front end of the shell, and a locking pocket extending from each slot at a position spaced from the open end of the shell. The tray is slidably received in the shell with the spring arms interiorly adjacent to the shell sidewalls and the finger tabs slidably received in the slots. The locking lugs on the finger tabs are resiliently receivable in the locking pockets on the shell sidewalls in the closed position of the tray within the shell.
