Abstract: The labyrinth capsule consists of a cup-shaped capsule (1), the capsule base of which is formed from a labyrinth plate (4) having a labyrinth structure and puncturing pins (14) on its upper side. A hole (10) with a central round stud (12) is located in the labyrinth plate center (5). A sealing film (7) is placed on the labyrinth plate (4) and is welded along its edge to the edge of the labyrinth plate (4). The capsule (1) is sealed on its upper edge (2) with a closure film, thereby closing in the filling. When liquid presses in through the closure film, the sealing film (7) is pressed against the labyrinth plate (4). The puncturing pins (14) puncture the sealing film (7). The liquid flows through the puncture holes and, thereafter, to the lower side of the labyrinth plate (4), to the labyrinth, and drains out between the labyrinth ridges (5). Finally, a laminar liquid stream is formed from the round stud (12) in the spout hole (10).

Abstract: A case for storing various objects, such as eyeglasses or jewelry, having a top and a bottom shell member which are connected together to allow for movement between an open position and a closed position. Each of the shell members has an interior surface, which when in the closed position, collectively defines an enclosed interior cavity for storage of the objects. Each of the shell members has a layer of memory foam overlying the interior surface. The memory foam layers generally deform to the shape of the object placed within the interior space of the case, when in its closed position and return to a normal, non-deformed position when the case is in its open position.

  • Patent number: 7798056
Abstract: An assembly and method are provided for storing and dispensing a soluble substance, such as a flavoring, into a liquid. A useful application of the subject invention includes the case where lime-flavored liquid is contained in a foam artificial lime stored in the neck of a beer bottle, attached to a beer bottle or can, or attached to the 6-pack or 12-pack carton. The artificial lime may be retrieved from the neck or a protective covering and acted upon so it diffuses the lime-flavored liquid into the beer when it is inserted into the beer bottle. Alternately, juice from the artificial lime may be squeezed into the beer, or the artificial lime may be simply retrieved and discarded. Rather than needing to buy a natural lime, cut it up and push a wedge into a beer bottle, an artificial lime, or a packaged natural lime, may be stored directly in or with the beer bottle and placed in functional contact with the beer at time of consumption.

Abstract: A credit card modularized set having a flexible stow envelope for receiving a companion nose-clasping type reading glasses, with a length and width approximately that of a conventional credit card; wherein as the set is stacked within a group of conventional credit cards, no portion of the set is substantially protrusive nor recessive of the stacked group. The reading glasses component has a special beam bridge portion having a square cross-sectional shape thereby affording maximum torsional resistance for its diminutive size plus a laterally tapering cross section evenly distributing any imposed bending loads. The modularized set has a minimal thickness enabling its user to slip the set conveniently within the user's wallet modularly among the user's credit cards for ready availability.
