  • Patent number: 8840787
Abstract: A filter device, in particular a return line suction filter, has at least one filter housing (3) receiving a filter element (17) defining a longitudinal axis. The filter element has an end cap with an enclosure at one filter element end enclosing an end edge of the filter material (39) and fixed to an element receptacle (5) connected to the filter housing (3) for fixing the location of the filter element (17) in its functional position. The element receptacle (5) and the associated end cap (21) of the filter element (17) have design irregularities (63, 65) adapted to each other at their parts (23, 47) engaging each other in the functional position of the filter element (17). The irregularities enable the engagement in a positional alignment to each other.

Abstract: A filter element for a liquid filter is arranged in the liquid filter housing that has at least two housing parts such that an inlet of the housing for liquid to be filtered is separated from an outlet of the housing for filtered liquid. The filter element has a filter medium provided with a terminal disk. The terminal disk has a seal support for an outer radial annular seal that is to be clamped in a clamping area between the housing parts that are separable from each other. The seal support of the filter element has axially at least a base member and a cover member. The base member is fixedly connected to the terminal disk. The cover member is attached to the terminal disk, to the base member, or to terminal disk and base member. The annular seal is positioned between base member and cover member.

  • Patent number: 8794450
Abstract: Disclosed is a channel filter for separating microparticles, and more particularly to a channel filter which can easily separate a sample having various sized microparticles by using a surface topology. In the disclosed channel filter, a topology having an upward/downward reference height from a sample inlet to an outlet is continuously or discontinuously formed, and thus it is possible to efficiently separate microparticles from a sample liquid.

  • Patent number: 8757393
Abstract: A replaceable filter has a filter housing with a cylindrical connecting end. A housing lid has a cylindrical counter connecting member matching the cylindrical connecting end. A filter closure system seal-tightly connects by form fit the cylindrical connecting end and the cylindrical counter connecting member when the connecting end is inserted or pushed onto the counter connecting member in an axial connecting direction and moved relative to the counter connecting member. An annular member is arranged coaxially relative to the connecting end and has a terminal edge area that is connected seal-tightly to the filter housing such that the annular member and the connecting end define a receptacle for the cylindrical counter connecting member. A sealing device is arranged in the receptacle and connected to the filter housing. The sealing device interacts with the counter connecting member.

  • Patent number: 8741139
Abstract: The present device is a detachable core for use with a cylindrical filter cartridge. The core includes a wire frame including at least two vertical struts oriented along a longitudinal direction. The wire frame includes an upper ring and a lower ring mounted to the distal ends of the vertical struts and further includes an upper flange and a lower flange mounted to the upper and lower rings respectively, wherein the lower flange is detachably mounted to the lower ring. Preferably the lower ring includes a gap in the lower ring to enable resilient compression of the ring by squeezing the lower ring in a radial inward direction prior to engagement with the lower flange. Preferably the cartridge filter includes elastomeric end caps and the cooperating rings and flanges are non-circular such that the elastomeric end caps conforms to the non-circular shape of the upper and lower flanges.

  • Patent number: 8658044
Abstract: A stormwater filter cartridge includes a housing with internal filter medium disposed along a flow path between a water inlet and a filtered water outlet. A solid wall float tube in a drainage space has an open lower end and open upper end and is movable between a lowered position and a raised position. As the housing fills, water level in the housing rises to cause the solid wall float tube to move to the raised position and a negative pressure draws fluid through the filter medium. As water level outside the filter cartridge drops, air enters the housing and causes the solid wall float tube to drop to the lowered position, and filtered water in a fluid reservoir backflows through the filter medium while air enters the housing by passing upward through the solid wall float tube so as to enhance rate of backflow.
