Abstract: The invention pertains to a connecting corner used in assembling metal rack frame enclosures for housing a variety of equipment. A completely assembled rack frame consists of eight connecting corners, three sets of variable length rails (four identically sized rails per set), and ninety-six fasteners. The connecting corner is made of metal. The connecting corner has three legs; base (10), leg (12), and leg (14) with three inner slots; slot (42), slot (44), and slot (46). Each slot accepts two-legged metal rail (58), with industry standard, consistently repetitive hole pattern; hole (60), hole (62), hole (64), and marker (66). Each slot is supported by double-sided overlapping tapered reinforcing ribs; rib (50), rib (52), and rib (54). Rail stop embossment (48) prevents rails in slot (42), slot (44), and slot (46) from making contact with each other. There are four counter sunk holes in each leg of connecting corner.

Abstract: Roof trusses (2, 4, 6, 8) are fixed together by a snap-fit connection system. The roof truss assembly includes a first truss (2) including an aperture having an enlarged portion (26) and a slot portion (28) communicating with the enlarged portion and extending away from the enlarged portion in a slot direction and a second truss (4, 6) including a pin (22) having a neck portion (30) and a head portion (32). The enlarged portion (26) of the aperture is adapted to receive the head portion (32) of the pin (22) during converging relative movement of the trusses. Subsequent relative movement of the second truss (4, 6) in the slot direction causes the neck portion (30) of the pin (22) to be received in the slot portion (28) of the aperture whereat diverging relative movement of the trusses is prevented. The truss assembly further includes a locking member (24) for preventing reverse relative movement of the second truss (4, 6) in a direction opposite to the slot direction.

Abstract: The supporting-bar arrangement serves for hanging, directly or indirectly, articles which are to be displayed in goods and services establishments. A fundamental constituent part is formed by a support bar which has, at the front, a plug-in end which can be plugged with arresting into an axial inlet opening in a plug-in sleeve or directly into an inlet opening in a supporting structure. The plug-in sleeve is fixed in a through-passage of the supporting structure. A hook contour is provided at the plug-in end, and the plugged-in support bar is arrested in different ways, A spring element is provided in the plug-in sleeve for latching the hook contour of the support bar when the support bar is plugged into the axial inlet opening. The support bar itself serves for hanging articles, or a goods carrier is secured on one or more support bars. The supporting-bar arrangement extends, in particular, the individual and high-quality design possibilities in the construction of shops and trade fairs.

Abstract: A device capable of being attached to a roof as part of a snowguard system to prevent snow or ice from falling off the roof. The snowguard system includes a plurality of mounting brackets each having a bracket portion with at least one bore defining at least one cutout region therethrough. This cutout region has a first circumferential shape. At least one pipe is slidably inserted through one of the bores in each of the bracket portions. Each pipe has a circumferential shape substantially similar to that of each cutout region to thereby prevent rotation of the pipe with respect to the bracket. At least one flag is provided for attachment to the pipe. Each flag has an interior which is substantially geometrically similar to at least a portion of the circumferential shape of the pipe, thereby allowing the interior portion of the flag to lockingly engage the exterior of one of the pipes such that the flag does not rotate with respect to the pipe to which it is attached.

  • Patent number: 6322629
Abstract: An apparatus and method for coating electrostatically charged powder on a ring-shaped article having an inner surface defining a central hole. The article to be coated is held by a holding fixture while electrostatic powder is being sprayed onto the surface of the article. The holding fixture includes a first fixture having a plurality of holding hooks circularly arranged and elastically deformable radially, and a second fixture having a rod, the first and second fixtures being inserted through the central hole of the article from opposite sides to engage each other, with the rod engaging the holding hooks to elastically deform the hooks and bring them into abutment with the inner surface of the article. The powder ejected from the spray reach not only the outer surface, but also the internal surface of the ring shaped article because the central hole is not blocked or covered by the holding fixture, and a space is left between the ring shaped article and the end surfaces of the holding fixture.
