    Abstract: A drink device 16 is shown and described. The drink device 16 can be located adjacent to a beverage can 17 such that a first position provides closure of the drinking hole 36 on the top of can 17. When the user applies a force to the drink device 16 the drinking hole 36 is exposed (second position) allowing the user to consume the beverage. When the force is removed from the drink device 16 another manual force is used to close the drinking device 16 adjacent to the drinking hole 36 or first or closed position. Alternatively, a spring 68 and spring force is used to bias the drinking device 16 against the drinking hole 36 and the top of the can 17 or back to the first or closed position. Decorative items such as stickers and sports paraphernalia can be affixed to the top of the pivot top.

    Abstract: A blending machine, for homogenizing materials deposited within an intermediate bulk container (IBC), includes: a frame; a drive motor; a clamp disk rotatably supported by the frame and coupled to the drive motor to drive disk rotation; first and second jaw clamps movably mounted to the frame; and a drive mechanism to drive the jaw clamps to translate toward each other and rotatably secure the IBC's boom to the rotatable clamp disk. A clutch, a torque limiter, and a limit switch limit the pressure applied by the clamps, and the extent of their travel to optimize clamping and rotatability. The blending machine is moveably mounted to a pedestal, and elevated by an actuator. A blending bar within the IBC is coupled through the boom to the clamp disk, and driven to rotate to blend the materials, in addition to mixing by rotation of the ICB.

The lid is arranged to be automatically pivoted open by the spring assembly when a catch on the lid is released so that the lid opens in a controlled, non-jarring manner. The spring assembly comprises an elastomeric member and a contact surface (e.g., a recess in a cap of the bottle). The elastomeric member is arranged to cooperate with the contact surface whereupon the elastomeric member operates bi-modally to effect the automatic opening of the lid.

The valve extends across the aperture in the separator, and is openable by the application of pressure on the valve and self-closable upon removal of the pressure from the valve. The assembly also includes a cover for selectively covering the aperture. The cover is mounted on the base and is movable with respect to the base between a closed position and an open position. The closed position is characterized by the aperture not being accessible and the open position is characterized by the aperture being accessible.

The depression bar device includes a movable depression bar that is releasably connectable to a hanger formed on the main body. The resiliency device includes a rod that maintains the depression bar in position with a first resilient element. A second resilient element maintains the rod in position to have the water stop member blocking a water passage of the main body. When the depression bar is depressed to travel through a first stroke, the depression bar disengages from the hanger to form an opening therebetween for easy hanging and use of the water jar. When the depression bar travels through a second stroke, the rod drives the water stop member away from the water passage to allow a user to drink water.

After the push button 5 has been restored under a restoring force of the elastic member 4 to its home position, depressing the button 5 again causes the forward end 8b of the push rod member 8 to push a groove 7 serving for cap closing and thereby rotates the cap 3 around the axis 2 of the hinged coupler to its closed position.

    Abstract: A protective cover for an electric connector containing electric contacts within an open end of the connector comprises a peripheral clamping strip to be clamped over an elastomeric band around the peripheral wall adjacent to the open end of the connector. A base member attached to the clamping strip protrudes toward the open end where there is pivoted a protective lid which can cover the open end. A spring loads the lid so that it is urged toward the position where it closes the open end and a finger portion may be used to pivot the lid against the force of the spring to open the lid. The clamping strip has ends which overlap so that the strip is substantially in the form of a ring. The two ends of the strip are provided with louvered notches which can be drawn toward each other by a suitable tool to contact the diameter of the circle over the elastomeric band.
