During use, the anti-theft cover (2) is connected to the passage outlet (13), and the elastic hook (7) is hooked to the hook receiving portion (9) and fitted to position limiting slot (10) to limit relative positions of the anti-theft cover (2) and the valve body (3). Also disclosed is a valve having the temper-evident device. The temper-evident device is easy to open and can effectively prevent stored materials from being stolen.

An opening is provided to allow contents within the bottle to exit. A partition extends around the opening to define a passage for the contents. The cover has a top portion with a channel in communication with the passage and a channel mouth such that contents in the bottle exits when the cover is in an opened configuration. The cover has a divider positioned about the channel entrance and sized to seal against the partition when the cover is in a closed configuration. The cover is sized to fit within the shell when in the closed configuration and the cover pivots to an opened configuration exposing the channel mouth to allow contents to flow from the bottle.

A platform member carries the cosmetic product, and can move in the manner of a float between the base and lid assembly. A cam mechanism on the window in the form of depending lugs, cooperates with camming ramps on the platform member. Exteriorly accessible manually engageable grip members connected with the platform member, allow the latter to be rotated with the lid assembly closed. Such rotation effects a tightening of the seal between the window and the platform member, by virtue of the action of the window lugs on the platform member's camming ramps. Improved seal between the window and the platform member is accomplished by virtue of such tightening. In addition, the arrangement is such that the compact can be locked against inadvertent opening, simultaneously with the tightening and sealing action on the platform member.
