Abstract: Provided is a handle including an annular part configured to fit in a neck part of a container, a first extension part provided so as to be continuous with the annular part, and a first holding part provided so as to be continuous with the first extension part, in which the annular part includes a second contact part capable of coming into contact with a first contact part provided to the neck part, and the first extension part is configured to be positioned with respect to the container by the contact between the first contact part and the second contact part.

Abstract: Generally, aspects of the subject matter are directed to a carrying strap or a carrying loop suitable for use with a container. The carrying strap and loop include first and second attachment portions for securement to various locations on the container. In one example, a carrying strap has a stowed position, where the strap wraps around the container, to a carrying position, where the strap secures to a second location on the container such that the strap can be used to carry the container. In another example, a carrying loop has a deployed position, where the loop secures to only a first location on the container and is used to carry the container. The carrying straps and loops are suitably positioned as covering a label of the container, as a replacement for the label, or placed in any different position on the container from the label.

Abstract: A container and handle system includes a container including a flange and a top load strength in a range of less than 25 lbf. A handle includes at least one radially oriented tab movable to define a first diameter being greater than a diameter of the flange and configured to facilitate translation over the flange. The at least one tab is biased to a second diameter that is less than the flange diameter such that the at least one tab engages the flange to fix the handle with the container. Packaging products, containers, handles, tooling, applicators and methods are disclosed.

Abstract: A method for applying a handle to a container, including placing the handle on the neck of the container, supporting the container to prevent the container from collapsing, and moving the handle toward an end of the neck that contacts a body of the container. The neck includes a supporting rib to fix the handle to the container.

Abstract: The invention relates to a bottle container with a handle. A mounting projecting portion projects from the bottle body, and the handle member has a handle portion connected to a mounting hole that allows the mounting projecting portion to be inserted thereinto. The handle member is mounted on the bottle body by inserting the mounting projecting portion into the mounting hole, and then rotating the mounting projecting portion around a central axis of the mounting projecting portion relative to the bottle body. The inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole has an abutting portion that abuts with an engaging recessed groove in the outer surface of the mounting projecting portion. The mounting portion has a guide portion that slides on a sliding surface of the outer surface of the mounting projecting portion with the relative rotation of the handle member and the bottle body, and guides the relative rotation.

Abstract: A food/drink container includes a receptacle, a lid removably secured to the receptacle and a handle movably coupled to the container such that the handle may move between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, at least a portion the handle is disposed below the receptacle and in the second configuration, at least a portion of the handle is rotatable with respect to receptacle.

Abstract: A container includes a hollow body having a finish extending from the body. The finish has an open end, at least one external thread for securement of a closure, and a pair of spaced external circumferential flanges on a side of the thread remote from the open end of the finish. A bale handle includes a ring having resilient internal tabs captured beneath the lower of the flanges remote from the open end of the finish, and a handle extending from the ring for carrying the container. The upper flange, which preferably has a greater outside diameter than the lower flange, has an undersurface that is free of obstruction from the bale handle and therefore is adapted to perform support functions for the container after attachment of the bale handle to the container finish.

Abstract: A packing that includes a bottle and/or a bottle and box combination wherein the container may have a first handle portion, a second handle portion, and a bottom grip portion. The first handle portion can extend in a front to back direction and the second handle portion can extend in a transverse direction to the first handle portion. The bottom grip may include a protrusion and recess on the bottom of the container. The box can be configured to have openings to provide access to the first and second handle portions such that the container need not be removed from the box to utilize the contents contained therein. The box may also include a bottom opening and a push-up portion to provide access to the bottom grip portion.

Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a bottle handle that is separately formed and subsequently affixed to the neck of a bottle by threading, or snap fitting the handle onto the bottle neck, or by securing thereto during a blow mold operation of the bottle. The preferred handle includes a neck portion and a finger portion that comprise two generally perpendicularly oriented, substantially circular rings that are offset from one another in an approximately tangential relationship. Protuberances and concave finger indents on the finger portion enable a user's finger to provide extra support when handling a bottle affixed with the bottle handle.

Abstract: A carrier for a container capable of attachment to a strap, key ring or other support includes a flexible body sized so as to releasably receive the container. The body has a loop or hook projecting from one end for engagement with the support and a through opening in the opposed end for receipt of the neck of the container.

Abstract: A bottle carrier for a single bottle including a substantially planar web of material, the web having an annular ring which includes a neck-engaging collar for selectively engaging the neck of a beverage bottle such as a juice bottle or milk jug. The carrier has a handle portion comprising a substantially U-shaped member having handle arms and a grip portion. The handle arms are joined to the annular ring on opposite sides thereof and the handle arms are sized and shaped so as to flex when the bottle is lifted by the handle portion after the neck has been engaged by the collar.

Abstract: A biaxially oriented bottle having a carrying handle is provided. A carrying handle, which is provided at a side surface of a neck portion, and which is injection molded together with the neck portion of a preform, is used without further modification as the carrying handle of a biaxial stretching blow molded, thinly formed bottle. The carrying handle is integrally formed in a U-shaped configuration from a grip portion and arm portions on both ends of the grip portion. The arm portions are integrally formed with base portions comprising projected pieces formed at symmetrical positions on both sides of the neck portion. The arm portions, moreover, extend out to the sides with a length greater than the height of the neck portion. The boundary of the base portion and arm portion is thinly molded by being constricted and forms a connecting portion which can be freely bent in a vertical direction.

Abstract: A label for displaying information regarding a container and suspending the container from a support, and methods for forming the same. The label includes a base label having a base adhesive on the lower surface thereof. A connector strip is secured to the upper surface of the base label along a longitudinal edge by at least one adhesive patch. A hanger is secured by the legs thereof to the connector strip. The hanger is foldable between a stored position wherein the hanger lies adjacent the upper surface of the base web and a hanging position wherein the hanger is folded away from the base label for receiving the support through the opening. A remaining portion of the upper surface of the base label is not covered by either of the connector strip and the hanger when the hanger is in the stored position. The label may further include at least one removable self adhesive secondary label forming a part thereof.

Abstract: An infant bottle feeding system is provided having a supported bottle holder for holding a feeding bottle. The bottle holder has a flat, elongated supporting base which can be placed underneath a supine infant for additional support. A flexible arm is retained by the supported base in an offset manner, thus allowing an infant roll to one side free of the base such that the infant is not trapped beneath the system. The flexible arm supports a bottle retaining clamp which holds a fluid storage vessel of the type conventionally used as infant feeding bottles. A flow restriction means is retained within a cap and away from the nipple, and both are then sealed to the opening of the storage vessel by the cap.

Abstract: A bottle is recycled into a new article of manufacture. A container for articles is thus formed. Two simple cuts are made into a bottle, the neck recycled and the base formed into a holding cavity. A fold-over flap secures the articles in the cavity. Preferably, a loop is provided on the fold-over flap to be used with a button on the base of the bottle. The device provides a secondary use for a soda bottle and is an alternative to merely crushing the same for recycling into other products.
