Abstract: A multi-functional bottle contains two separate compartments, a first compartment for water or liquid storage, and a second compartment or holding chamber, for storage of a powdered formula. The holding chamber is comprised of both flexible, and rigid food-grade polymers. The holding chamber has a closed bottom-end, forming the bottle's base, and an open, re-sealable top-end for addition of the powdered formula, and for release of the powdered formula for mixing when so desired. Re-sealable top-end forms an airtight seal with an agitator cap. The agitator cap can easily be released by firmly pressing (depressing) the bottom-end of the holding chamber (and bottle), allowing the user to now mix the powdered formula with the water with a single hand.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for delivering substrates for a depilatory product using an enzymatically generated peracid. More specifically, a two component system is provided comprising (a) a first non-aqueous composition comprising a solid source of peroxygen, an ester substrate, and an optional organic cosolvent and (b) an aqueous component having a pH of at least 4 comprising an enzyme catalyst having perhydrolytic activity and a buffer. The perhydrolytic enzyme catalyst may be in the form of a fusion protein comprising a perhydrolytic enzyme coupled through an optional peptide linker to a peptidic component having affinity for hair.

Abstract: A device for selective attachment to a conventional aluminum beverage can with internal liquid-holding pouch. A flavoring, alcohol based, energy drink, a medication, etc. can be contained in the device and mixed with the liquid contained in beverage cans. With the device atop a can and the device and can opened, tilting and pouring the liquid of the can causes liquid within the device to be dispensed and entrained into the stream of the liquid exiting the beverage can. A mixed drink can be provided comprised of the first liquid of the device and the second liquid provided by the can. Substantially uniform concentration of the two liquids is maintained from start to finish. Mixing occurs on an incremental basis and there is no substantial mixing of liquid from the device within the chamber of the can or from the liquid of the can within the cavity/pouch of the device.

The delivery dish is configured in size and shape to provide access to a pet or human for drinking therefrom. Optionally, the bottle comprises an insulating internal chamber adapted to insulate the liquid housed therein, keeping the liquid at a constant temperature for a period of time. Alternatively, the delivery dish comprises an insulating interior compartment adapted to insulate the liquid when the bottle is within the interior compartment of the delivery dish.

The attachment mechanism may comprise an engagement assembly, a piercing portion, and a valve assembly. The engagement assembly may generally receive the cartridge within the attachment mechanism. The piercing portion may generally pierce the cartridge, thereby releasing the contents of the cartridge into the container. The valve assembly may generally open upon engagement of the cartridge with the attachment mechanism. The cartridge generally engages with the attachment mechanism to open the cartridge to be dispensed into the container, thereby combining the contents of the cartridge with the liquid within the container to create a drinkable beverage.

A permanent cap (25) can provide a secondary seal for the container and define a secondary headspace (24b) between the primary and secondary seals (4) (25). In other embodiments the seal (4) can be replaced by a mechanically movable seal which may be locked in its downward position. Also the secondary seal can be provided with a port or aperture to provide access into the secondary headspace for a commodity. Also a commodity such as a tablet or pill may be provided within the secondary headspace.

Abstract: A compartmentalized baby bottle includes main and secondary interior compartments for housing and selectively introducing a soluble mix to a fluid, as needed by the caregiver. A plurality of conduits are formed along a bottom-most end of the main interior compartments for allowing the soluble mix to pass therethrough. A conduit-sealing mechanism is provided such that a care giver is permitted to selectively combine the mix and fluid together without prematurely exposing the mix. Advantageously, the conduit-sealing is selectively biased between open and closed positions for preventing the fluid and mix from undesirably mixing together until the care giver is ready to do same.

The inner vessel is received by a socket mounted in the closure which provides a resilient bias on the inner vessel to force the open mouth of the inner vessel against the bottom. A method for filling the mixing container includes a filling of the inner vessel, placement of the outer vessel over the inner vessel, immersing at least the open mouth of the outer vessel into a second liquid and evacuating the outer vessel. The mixing container may then be closed to resiliently bias the open mouth of the inner vessel against the bottom of the outer vessel to effect the interior seal.

Abstract: A system and method for providing custom colored sealant are generally provided with a dispensing container, containing a quantity of sealant base solution. A nozzle, is shaped and sized to be removably secured with an open end portion of the dispensing container. A supplemental container is provided that contains a quantity of sealant thickener. A transfer pipette may be provided for selectively transferring a coloring agent to the dispensing container. The coloring agent may be mixed with the sealant base solution by agitating the dispensing container, until a desired color is attained. The sealant thickener may then added and mixed by similar agitation of the dispensing container. The nozzle is then coupled with the dispensing container and the custom-colored sealant is ready to be dispensed.

Abstract: A container having a first compartment configured to hold a first substance, a second compartment configured to hold a second substance, a frangible separator coupled to both the first and second compartments, and an actuator operably attached to the frangible separator. The second compartment is removably attached to the first compartment. The frangible separator forms a seal between the first compartment and the second compartment such that the first substance and the second substance do not mix. Actuating the actuator causes at least a portion of the frangible separator to rupture, which creates an opening in the frangible separator and allows the first substance and the second substance to mix. The actuator may be a string. The invention is particularly well-suited for mixing formula and water in baby bottles, but has many other uses.

First and second coextensive protective caps are conjoined to the top and bottom ends. A first discharge nozzle is intercalated between the first protective cap and the body's top end, and has a nipple protruding outwardly from the first protective cap. The first and spare discharge nozzles are formed from resilient rubber material.

Abstract: The invention provides a particulate composition adapted for forming a bone graft substitute cement upon mixing with an aqueous solution, including i) a calcium sulfate hemihydrate powder having a bimodal particle distribution and a median particle size of about 5 to about 20 microns, wherein the calcium sulfate hemihydrate is present at a concentration of at least about 70 weight percent based on the total weight of the particulate composition; ii) a monocalcium phosphate monohydrate powder; and iii) a ?-tricalcium phosphate powder having a median particle size of less than about 20 microns. Bone graft substitute cements made therefrom, a bone graft substitute kit comprising the particulate composition, methods of making and using the particulate composition, and articles made from the bone graft substitute cement are also provided.

The container includes a first vessel and a second vessel coupling with each other in a screw way, while a partition is arranged in the second vessel to separate a room sealed by the first and second vessels into two parts. Particularly, an anti-disassembly unit is arranged between these two vessels, with a plurality of ratchets formed on one of the two vessels and a plurality of flexible pawls formed on the other one of these vessels.
