The container can include first shell and a second shell; a first rim extending around the first shell; a second rim extending around the second shell; and a latch for securing the first shell to the second shell and defining an enclosed storage volume in a mated position. The first shell can include a grip projection adapted for opening the container from a mated position. The latch defines a latch recess adapted for receiving the grip projection when the latch secures the first shell to the second shell in the mated position. The second rim can include a continuous recess, having a pair of continuous sides and a seal ridge between, but spaced apart from, the continuous sides, while the first rim can include inner and outer continuous sealing ridges that fit over the seal ridge and between the continuous sides.

Abstract: A carton divider having vertically oriented longitudinal partitions and vertically oriented transverse partitions interengaged to form a grid of cells for receiving glass containers or the like. Adjacent cells share a wall having opposing faces, and a vertically extending reinforcing strip is mounted only on a medial portion of at least one of the opposing faces of each wall.The reinforcing strips thus provide adequate cushioning protection for the containers to be packaged in the carton, while minimizing the amount of the material required to fabricated the partitions.

Abstract: A cosmetic carrier adapted for use alone or for placement in the bottom of a larger container to contain a plurality of cosmetic bottles and the like from bumping and tipping in transit. The carrier comprises an open topped resiliently rigid container having sidewalls and a bottom. A vertically disposed ribbon of elastic material horizontally crisscrosses the container between a plurality of first points on one area of the sidewalls and a plurality of second points disposed between the first points on a second area of the sidewalls opposite the first area to create a plurality of generally triangular areas within the container each being bounded on two sides by the elastic material and on a third side by a portion of the sidewalls.

Abstract: Partitioning for a container having sets of spaced parallel panels that are interconnected with each other to delineate in conjunction with the container a plurality of four sided cells within the container for receipt and protective transport of articles deposited therein. The individual panels of each set of panels include an intermediate body section and a plurality of projections extending upwardly and downwardly therefrom so as to form alternating projections and cutouts on either side thereof, wherein the upwardly and downwardly extending projections of each panel are laterally offset from each other. The panels of each set are also formed with slots that extend from a panel side and that terminate within an intermediate body portion thereof for aligned engagement when the panels of respective sets are interconnected with each other.
