Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for the storage of objects are provided, such as an adjustable storage device for protecting fragile decorative items, which can include a plurality of adjustable rectangular storage compartments arranged in a rectangular array, a first plurality of elongate structures spaced at intervals and oriented parallel to one another, a second plurality of elongate structures spaced at intervals and oriented parallel to one another, wherein the first plurality of elongate structures is oriented perpendicularly to the second plurality of elongate structures to form an opening for each to of the plurality of storage compartments, and a flexible liner disposed across the plurality of storage compartments, wherein the flexible liner extends through each single opening to form sides and a bottom of each storage compartment.

Abstract: An egg processing apparatus is provided. Such an apparatus includes a plurality of egg processing devices configured to interact with a plurality of eggs carried by an egg carrier. An egg support assembly is positioned beneath the egg processing devices such that an egg carrier is capable of being moved between the egg processing devices and the egg support assembly. The egg support assembly includes a plurality of pedestals, with each pedestal having a plurality of discrete egg support members cooperating to form a seating arrangement portion for contacting and supporting an end of an egg in the egg carrier. An associated assembly and method are also provided.

Abstract: A filler flat construction for accommodating a plurality of fragile articles is provided which includes a plurality of article-accommodating cells arranged in side by side relation and forming substantially parallel rows. Adjacent cells in a row are separated by upstanding first shoulders, and corresponding cells in adjoining rows are separated by upright second shoulders. The first and second shoulders of a cell are angularly disposed and interconnected by upstanding hollow corner posts. Each post projects upwardly to a greater extent than the interconnected shoulders and the portion of the post which is elevated relative to the interconnected shoulders is provided with open side walls facing adjacent cells. The upper end portions of the open side walls of the post are interconnected by a cap section. Each cell includes a base section which is substantially delimited by wall segments extending divergently upwardly therefrom.

Abstract: An article carrier for use in conjunction with fragile articles arranged in at least two rows of at least two articles each is provided with a partition insert structure arranged to afford double thickness separation between adjacent articles and includes a pair of vertically disposed main panels arranged in back to back disposition together with a horizontally disposed spacer panel foldably joined along its side edges of the bottom edges of the main panels by serpentine fold lines to establish pockets adjacent the articles for affording cushioning action. At least one partition strip may be interconnected with one of the main panels at one end thereof and to a partition panel at the other end thereof.
