The decorative panel has an inwardly bent portion that has been formed by bending an outer peripheral edge portion of the decorative panel inwardly toward a lower surface of the underframe to hold the outer peripheral edge of the underframe.

The frame includes a drip guard projecting outward from the edge of the frame and overhanging the first electrical connection to guide a liquid from a surface of the frame or the glass heating element away from the first electrical connection such that the liquid does not come into contact with the first electrical connection.

Abstract: An electric hot plate includes an electric roasting portion and a fume extraction portion coupled by a support rod, and the electric roasting portion includes a base, a control system installed on the base and coupled to an upper heating plate; and the fume extraction portion includes a plurality of fume extraction fans installed on a fume cover and coupled to the control system, and an oil filter portion. The electric hot plate features low power consumption and low electromagnetic radiation and can timely extract the fume produced in the roasting process to reduce the production of harmful toxic matters and protect the users' health, and the electric hot plate of the invention is applicable for indoor and outdoor usage including the use at home or in barbeque restaurants.

Abstract: An energy saving reflector assembly for cook-top heating units. The reflector assembly features a device which concentrates heat on the bottom of a cooking vessel being heated and prevents heat from escaping laterally from under the vessel being heated. The device provides significant decreases in both cooking time and energy consumption. Embodiments for electric and gas cook-tops are described.

A fold facilitator is provided on the plate like structure to facilitate the folding of the device to fit into a dishwasher. A plurality of drip pans secured to the plate-like structure is provided for catching the food and liquid spillings or sputterings. The plurality of openings may be covered by heater covers to provide cooking zones on the plate-like structure to engage with the heaters and conduct heat from the heaters to cookware on the cooking zones.
